Large Private Home with Private Pool and Spa!

You're going to be happy you chose this large home with plenty of room for your family to spread out!

The kitchen is very nice with dark wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and bar seating for five. Adjacent to the kitchen area are two dining tables, one that comfortably seats six and the other which seats eight. The family room overlooks the kitchen and has two couches and a large HDTV.

The primary suite features a king bed, HDTV and en-suite primary bathroom. The primary bath has a granite vanity, tiled walk-in shower and separate garden tub. The first guest bedroom has a king bed, HDTV and en-suite guest bathroom. This guest bath has a tub and shower combination. The second guest bedroom has a king bed, HDTV and its own en-suite guest bathroom. This guest bathroom also features a tub and shower combination. The last guest bedroom has two queen beds, HDTV and a large en-suite guest bathroom. The guest bathroom has two separate vanities with a total of three sinks along with a walk-in shower.

There is an in-law suite accessible through the garage or a private entrance on the side of the house. There is a Queen bed, an en-suite bathroom as well as a sleeper sofa and large TV. The apartment has a kitchenette for your comfort.

Outside you will love your large private deck with multiple outdoor dining tables and lounge chairs. A large private pool along with two, yes two, spas which cascade into one another really completes the whole package that is this private home. The beach is easily accessed by a five minute bike ride, 10 minute stroll or by calling the on-call and seasonal Palmetto Dunes Buggy!

The spa and pool can be heated (June 1st - October 1st) for an additional fee.

The BEST

Out of all the houses that we have rented, which has been many over the years, this by far was the best. Well updated , spacious and perfect for our family. Location was awesome and just a short walk to beautiful beach.

Great house and location

Property was beautiful, well maintained and looked exactly like the pics! Everything was wonderful. The only complaint I have is that no one responded to my messages on the platform. I had to call the front desk of the resort to get an answer on any of the questions we had during our stay!

There were several areas that were showing where and tear. Some of the patio and pool furniture seemed old and some of the seats were dry rotted to the point where when you sat in them, they broke.

We rented the home for Spring Break (early April) and unfortunately the pool could not be heated. Otherwise, everything else was wonderful. The Palmetto Dunes staff was wonderful to work with during the process of reservations, check in and check out!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall this property was ok. The outside area was very nice including large decks, pool and 2 spas. We spent most of our time in this area. The house was very roomy inside but there were a couple items that I wish were better. The mattresses were not very comfortable. The living area with the tv was not very big for a house this size. It would have been better if there was another tv in the 2nd living room. It was just a sitting room and not very useful. We did have some people stay in the "in-law" suite and there was a musty smell. I feel this area needs updated. We did find multiple Palmetto bugs in the house. I know the bugs were mentioned as common in Hilton Head. We have vacationed in Hilton Head the last 3 years and this was the first time we found bugs in the house. Overall I think with some updates this could be a very nice house.

We've been vacationing and Palmetto Dunes annually for the last five years. 2 Lee Shore was clean and all systems worked as needed which are our two most significant criteria. The only area of disappointment was not being able to pay to have the spas heated. We learned during the initial reservation process that the pool and spa heating was unavailable but that the owner and property manager may consider allowing us to pay for spa heat a couple weeks prior to our visit. I called three times prior to our arrival with no feedback. I understand but am still disappointed and will build that interest into future reservations' eval criteria.

However, the hot tub didn’t always work, the grill lighter didn’t work, the dryer didn’t work, the jacuzzi didn’t work, and the skylights over the upper deck were filled with spider webs.Multiple phone calls brought service response; but no effective repairs during our stay. We also had to ask for a vacuum for routine cleaning.
