The floors could have used some cleaning. Fully stocked kitchen. Missing living room TV, used the smaller one from the bedroom. We enjoyed the condo, great for our family of 6.

First time at Tybee Island. Enjoyed the week, immensely. Loved the beach & pools. Owner was very responsive with our requests. Check-in and Check-out went very smoothly. Just the right size for 6 people (3 families) with one young grandchild. Nice and clean accommodations. Many restaurants & coffee shops on the island.

great place for families

Tybee condo with pools, parking and beach access.

We really enjoyed everything about the property -- the condo, kitchen, balcony, pool, poolside service & restaurant, beach proximity and access, convenient parking. The only downside was that they seemed to have forgotten to mop our floors before we arrived so we had black feet and had to shower our feet before we got into bed or put our shoes on. Otherwise, great!

Our condo was very close to the beach and the 3 bedrooms were very accommodating however the unit we stayed in want cleaned the greatest. The toilet in the master bathroom was broken without a toilet seat but that were very quick to fix it after I called. The air conditioning worked great. The drink I got at the pool bar was terrible. It tasted like straight up juice for 16. Overall, it was nice and we would stay here again.

A quick girls trip

I took my mom and aunt away for a quick trip and we had the best time! The condo is in a great location. The only thing I will say is if you drive a larger SUV the parking can be tight, besides that everything was great!!!

Enjoyed our stay

The property location was great. We had an issue with our central air while we were there, which they had to order a part for so they brought floor AC units which was not ideal however their communication was great throughout. The unit was not very clean, floors were dirty.

Quiet location

Very nice property in convenient location. Living room furniture in our unit was less than desirable. If we had not had to change locations on short notice I wouldn’t have selected this particular room/condo based on the furnishings.

Gulf reef #614

This was our first visit to Tybee. The location was nice, however, we had 3, 18 year olds with us who spent the majority of their time in the village. Us adults enjoyed our location, beautiful beach, nice pool with bar and all amenities in our condo. FYI have your cleaning staff wipe down your ceiling fans (we did it for you). Overall nice relaxing vacation.

Right on the beach!

This property was just as pictured, right on the beach, close to shopping and restraunts! The pool was under construction so we had to use another locations pool, but it was the next building over. The air wasn't working properly the first day, so we had to contact the office, they were there that next morning and fixed the problem. The staff in the office were so helpful anytime we called them for direction or just to ask simple questions. I highly recommend this vacation rental and the company. Very very professional and friendly.

Home away from Home

Comfortable, clean, quiet. Perfect. We missed the pool. It it was very nice. My husband gave up our room and we had the smallest room and he’s the biggest guy of the group. But it was actually very comfortable. The only complaint, because we had 3 adult couples, using the bathroom was a little awkward. You can hear everything from outside the main main bathroom. I generally like my privacy and we usually travel alone. The condo was beautiful! I wish it was mine !

Great location

The location was great. It's within walking distance of shopping and restaurants as well as the beach. Pictures were accurate, check in and out were easy. Our only complaints were the fondo smelled very strongly of weed when we first arrived. That may not bother some, but was a turn off for us. We had to buy air freshener and open the doors for a while and it was chilly out when we arrived. Also, the floors weren't very clean. The bottom of all our socks were filthy and there is sand that comes out of the couches. You can expect a little of that when you're close to the beach, but it seemed excessive. There was also no dishwasher tabs, dish soap, salt and pepper or laundry soap that you would find in most vrbo rentals. We've rented a lot of places and this is the first that didn't provide those things. Not a big deal, just unusual. Overall, the condo was good and in a great location on Tybee.

Fishing Tournament on the Beach

Unfortunately, no one said anything about a fishing tournament going on Saturday and Sunday. Had to use the beach on the other side of the pier. Would have been nice to know ahead of time. Otherwise, close to the beach.

Spacious condo with comfortable beds

The condo was spacious enough for two families. The location is great. It’s a hop and a skip from the beach. The view isn’t amazing, but was good for people watching! The condo could use some deep cleaning. The walls were dirty , but with families tracking in and out .. I get it. However, the dirty walls and prints would easily wipe away with a magic eraser. The Beachside Colony is my favorite place to stay. There was only two pools and you could walk to the restaurant from the pool area. The parking is a little wonky. There isn’t assigned parking and it’s a tight squeeze. Sometimes you got a parking spot in front of the condo and other times a different location. There is very few dishes so definitely stock disposable plates and bowls prior to your stay. The coffee pot worked, but it’s almost worn out. The beds was comfortable. The pull out sofa bed was terrible. It really needs replacing. I felt bad for my son who had to sleep on it. All in all, I would stay again.

Good location but the condo needs a deep clean

The new 2 (not 3) pools were nice & the restaurant bar was convenient. The ocean/beach was close by and very peaceful. The condo was not cleaned, basically the linens were swapped out for clean ones in the 6 hours it took to “clean” it. Funny since check in was postponed “until the unit was cleaned and inspected” yet we had to clean upon arrival. The tile floors were sandy and our feet were literally black within minutes of just checking the place out. So we started cleaning. We noticed the couches are stained and sandy as well. The pots in the kitchen were crusted with food remnants, so we cleaned every dish before use, to be safe. During nap time a “maintenance” woman knocked repeatedly so upon answering she said she was changing the ac filter which I let her do since 2 of the 3 kids were woken up from her knocking and yelling through the door at 1pm on a Saturday. Thank goodness she changed it because that was 2 inches thick of dust and nastiness. The ceiling fans were COVERED in dust and the actual ceilings have dust accumulated but we couldn’t reach to clean.

The property was clean and a very close proximity to the beach. Our beach location was absolutely perfect and had the best tidal pools, where we found many treasures and made more memories.
