We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Waterfall Woods Lodge! When you called that you needed help with the TVs, maintenance came out within the hour to reset them. This can happen to smart TVs at times, but we got it taken care of for you. When guests need help during their stay, we are here to help. Thank you for your communication and 5 star review! The blackstone griddle is for guest use and guests scrape it and empty grease after use. It is designed to have a layer of oil on the top to protect it from the moisture that is in the environment due to being next to the creek and waterfall. It's not going to look pristine due to the environment but we have wonderful cleaners and if anything needs attention, just let us know, they are happy to come back and take care of it. Thanks so much!

The pictures were great, however, the overall impression of the cabin is more rustic and old. The kids and adults had a great time using the video games and exploring the waterfall. After the rain there was more water flowing but before that it was very little in the creek area but nothing you can do about that. There were many lights out on the string of bulbs around the deck and pretty unkept around the hot tub although we did look into the tub and it was perfect even though we didn't use it due to the location and webs all around it. Inside the house it was great there was a griddle. The shower and tubs were slippery but the host delivered mats within hours and that worked out well. We were all amazed that we actually saw 2 bears down the street from the cabin which also helped in determining that we wouldn't be in the hottub after dark. We did have access to the smaller cabin due to the number of people we had however, there was a very musty smell and the couple just stayed in the big house. When they opened one of the pull out couches it was broke though.

Thank you so much for the detailed review — we're thrilled you, the kids, and the whole group had such a memorable stay, especially spotting two bears and enjoying the waterfall and game room! So glad you reached out about the shower mats — that's exactly the kind of thing we love to help with quickly, and it's great it worked out so well. As for the smaller cabin, it does have its own AC unit, so running that can help keep things fresh, especially with the humidity out in the woods! We'll also get the pull-out sofa repaired — we have multiple sofa beds on the property, so we'll make sure that one's back in shape. As for the creek and waterfall, we're tucked right in the woods, and the flow does depend on recent rainfall — just Mother Nature doing her thing! And on the hot tub — totally understandable given the timing, but for what it's worth, bears are just part of life out here and we've never had any issues with guests enjoying the tub any time, day or night. Its spot right next to the waterfall makes it one of the best features of the whole property. Thanks again for such thoughtful feedback — we'd love to host you all again soon!

We had an amazing stay! This cabin had so much space for our large group and our pupper enjoyed it too! The tiny cabin was just perfect for us and tje the big house had ample room for everyone else. We enjoyed the waterfall and creek, the little trails were fun to walk and the nieces and nephews loved the hot tub! This was such an amazing place and exceeded all our expectations! Beautiful secluded cabin!!! Very friendly and attentive host. The cabin layout was perfect for our large family and our 2 dogs had a great time! The distance to town was about 20 mins and not too bad of a drive. The winding drive to the cabin was an exciting adventure (definitely 4x4 in winter). Sitting outside listening to the waterfall was my favorite thing about this property. Our family really enjoyed the pool table and all the games!!!!!

Along with every reservation, we offer one free adult ticket to each and every one of these attractions for every day of your reservation. One per cabin, expires daily. When you call to reserve your free ticket, you can buy more tickets at the regular price for other guests who would also like to go. Tickets are subject to seasonality and hours/dates of operation of each attraction.

Let us know how many pets you have, make sure you follow the pet policy, and we will request the additional pet fees of $84.56 per pet. Pet policy: Pre- treat for fleas. We ask that you crate your pet when you leave it alone in the cabin. Please clean up excessive pet hair if your pet is shedding. Guest is responsible for cleaning up any/all pet refuse. If damages are caused, the cost of the damage will be requested to be reimbursed by the guest. Homeowner assumes no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to pets or humans while on the premises.
