What a little gem. Loved the attention to detail and personal notes to welcome and explain features. In a quiet but accessible location, I was able to shop, sip and eat all within a convenient distance from the studio. Will definitely recommend to friends.Gill

Beautifully kept and presented, friendly, helpful owner and hassle free.
This accommodation was the highlight of our trip. Everything was faultless and beautifully clean. The breakfast provisions were spot on and the cheese platter and wine so thoughtful. Hope to visit again and will definitely be recommending to our friends.

We had a lovely mini-stay at Fechner Place on a beautiful autumn weekend in the Barossa. Fechner Place is situated in a very convenient location and was a great base from which to explore the surrounding towns, wineries and national parks. The apartment was immaculately clean with luxurious bed linen and lots of treats to enjoy. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!
Very comfortable and clean property with lovely hosts
Great two night stay in a beautifully presented property close to Peter Lehman (we were there for A Day on the Green). The only minor drawback for us, which I didn't pick up on when reading the description was that the accommodation was a studio (kitchen, dining, living and bedroom all in one), and the kitchen was limited to microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster (any washing up was done in bathroom), but for a short stay this isn't a big issue at all.
You could not ask for a better place to stay when choosing The Barossa. It is in the perfect central position with major wineries also within walking distance, yet so close to the main hub. The property was absolutely perfect and beautifully appointed. The special touches of breakfast provisions and wine just made it even more special. Hosts were amazing and communication was fantastic. Definitely recommend this place for a great stay in The Barosss. 5 🌟 for sure.

ThIs is a small but beautifully presented studio in a very good location. Proprietors helpful and friendly. Our only issue was no wifi which is almost necessary in this age of connectivity

The property was beautiful, in a quiet location with a lovely outdoor area and warm and cosy inside. Exceptional produce was left for us to enjoy including a bottle of wine. Toiletries etc were of an outstanding quality. There was nothing we didn't like about this property. Host was very friendly and available if needed.

No Bath
Was looking forward to relaxing and having a bath. It clearly states in the advertisement but it does not exist. I also go charged an extra $150 on top of the overnight price. For the price I would rather stay elsewhere

We provide a very clean apartment which is advertised as a studio with guest ensuite and courtyard.
Most people would acknowledge that a studio ensuite would not contain a full bath. However, we apologise for that misunderstanding. This does not excuse guests from refraining from showering. These guests proceeded to extensively soil the bedding provided. Such was the filth on the sheets, mattress protector, cotton blanket and doona cover that some had to be discarded as they could not be cleaned.
The studio also provides a very generous welcome package which includes a choice of either a premium Barossa red or white wine. These guests helped themselves to both.
The accusation that they were charged an extra $150.00 is false. There were no additional charges levied over and above the original payment. To read that they have rated this studio a 2/10 is appalling and reflects the guests' character and not the apartment.
Our stay in Tanunda was amazing in this lovely studio, it was the perfect place to rest and recharge after a busy day of exploring the region. It was very clean, quiet and well presented, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

Truly a great place to stay and much better than a hotel. The place felt new, tastefully designed with everything you could want plus more. I personally was blown away by the wine and cheese board, juices and sparkling water…. Nespresso and great continental breaky as well as a super comfy bed. Will definitely stay again.
