Discovery 4 104 Pet-Friendly Rustic Mountain Cabin, Close to Canyon Lodge by RedAwning

This pet-friendly, 1 bedroom + loft, 1 bathroom condo is a great value

sleeping up to 8 people. It is centrally located close to the lakes in

Mammoth. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, just like

home. The living area features a flat screen TV with DVD player and premium

HBO channels, wood-burning fireplace, and free WiFi.



The master bedroom has a queen bed with en-suite vanity and shared hall

bathroom. The loft features a perfect space for singles or kids with 4 twin

beds. The living room also has a sleeper sofa for extra guests. All guests

receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy

facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility,

yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more.



This condo sleeps a maximum of 8 people, comes with two outdoor parking

spaces, has 2 levels inside, and no smoking is permitted. Guests will be

provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is

allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. This condo is

pet-friendly and approved for one pet only, any additional pets must first be

approved prior to booking the condo. Our calendar is updated in real time.

The pet fee is already included in your reservation total if you are bringing

1 pet only. Additional pets must be approved on a case by case basis. If a

Great affordable getaway

Very nice grounds, never heard a neighbor, beautiful pool, close to all, comfy bed, lots of pillow. Have a few suggestions, but it was a great stay and a great price point.

Just Right!

It was the perfect place for the 6 of us. Plenty of fire wood 🪵 super cozy and great location. Would definitely go back, the jacuzzi and games room is definitely a plus too.

Nice condo for skiing, amenities not available

The condo was just as listed in the photos, a bit dated but pretty clean and great for a group of 4. The location was very close to the mountain which was convenient. Check in was super easy. However none of the amenities listed were available. The hot tub and sauna were broken, the game room was under construction, and the grills were inside and unavailable for use so we had to cook our hot dogs and burgers inside. Would have bought something different had we known. Overall the condo was fine but wish we had known none of the amenities we were expecting and paid for were available.

Too good to be true

We walked in the smell was overwhelming, the carpet was really dirt. Huges stains on it, not sure of the smell was from a dirty carpet or if it was in the walls. The condo was smaller than I thought. Their wasn't actually a working fan to help cool the loft or the main lower half of the house. The loft was nice but no TV or fresh circulation of air up there. The kids had to sleep on sofa's. The Temps were 100+ without kinda of fan or small window air conditioning. We opened the windows and they felt as if they were ready to break off the metal part holding the glass insert. I feel like I over paid way to much. The plugs on the walk were loose so your charger would fall out of the walls, the dining room chair was taped and the whole leg came off. There was a fan that scraped and scrape itself so you couldn't work it. Some of the lamps did work. There wasn't a t.v. in the loft for the kids which made it impossible for adults to watch anything, the one in the master keep turning off after 5 to 10 min. Also who doesn't put a smart t.v. in a rental, because we could buy a movie but if it was a smart t.v. we could have mirror the movie with our smart phone to the smart TV . I can't get over that there is a sink in the bedroom why? What i liked about the condo. It was well planned as far as furniture. Very comfortable. Kitchen was nice. Had lot of cabinet in it. Location was great, pool and spa great, game room was awesome. Ok

Snowboarding Haven

Took a large group of my sons college friends to Mammoth for a snowboarding weekend. This was the perfect place to stay, lots of room and beds. Close walking to the Village. Bus pick up right across the street. Would definitely stay again. Rental agency was easy to use. Provided an app for direction and instruction.

New Foam Mattress a Must!

I highly recommend the queen mattress be replaced in the bedroom. My wife does not ski and she has had enough of poor sleeping conditions. She is now unwilling to come with me in the future because the bed was so uncomfortable.

Great Getaway

We had a good time. It was just as we expected. Clean and pet friendly. Room for all of us. The first night we arrived after midnight and locked both keys inside. Louise the night shift emergency staff was very nice and friendly and was able to help. Thank you for a Wonderful stay.

Cute cabin, worked well to snowboard at Mammoth for 6 guests

6 of us stayed at Discovery 4 #104. We arrived late (1AM) and parking was scarce but luckily we found ONE spot still open in the parking lot. We had no issues with parking the next day though after hitting the slopes.It is "walkable" if you look at Google Maps, but the road in between the walkable path is actually snow'ed out so we ended up driving to the lodge which was a short drive. One thing is that when we arrived, 3 of our group had arrived earlier (11pm) and started the heater immediately when they arrived. However, all of us who were sleeping in the 4 twin beds upstairs woke up freezing throughout the night. We could hear each other shivering. I slept in fetal position and couldn't roll over because I didn't want to lose the space on the bed that my body had warmed up. For the next night, we found extra blankets and comforters. By the next night and when we arrived back at the cabin after snowboarding all day, the cabin had warmed up. The 2nd day in the cabin was much better and warmer, I think I even woke up too hot in the morning. We stayed in the 2nd night and watched movies on the TV. There was tons of space in the living room for us all to hang out and not feel crammed even with the snow gear in the entryway and some board bags in the living room. Two of the guests made a full on dinner using the kitchen too! I like that the bar counter was there so there was always interaction between everyone in kitchen and living room.Check in and checkout was easy, thankfully Mammoth Sierra has a late check in option because we always arrive late on Fridays whenever we visit. FYI, Even if you don't have a pet staying with you, you will still have a pet fee.

January Stay

Everything was great but the owners need to plow or salt the driveway. It is a hill and was a sheet of ice the entire time. I slipped and fell, and I saw another guest run into the property sign with his car because it was so icey.
