This little gem has everything you need to make your visit a lovely, enjoyable & easy experience. Inside, this sweet apartment is fully equipped with all of the essentials & necessities for a quiet evening in or as a base camp for other activities.
Located in the heart of Missoula, just around the corner from the renowned Good Food Store where local & organic fresh foods are plentiful & a delicious eatery is steps from your front door. A few blocks away are the bikeable and walkable 'River Trails' that wend along the Clark Fork River into downtown Missoula, the University of Montana, and everywhere in between.
We have hosted short term as well as long term guests including tourists, family of locals, Forest Service, film, medical & business professionals.
We welcome your pet upon approval.

Super nice apartment. Close to a very nice grocery store. Bike trail entrance in the neighborhood. Quiet complex equipped with everything you would need. This is our third year visiting. We look forward to our next visit. A great home away from home.

It was a nicely styled yet comfortable space to be in. So many little touches that did truely make it feel like home (Books, DVDs, popcorn maker, who could ask for more!) I would love to stay here again.

Our four generations have combined creative forces to offer this great little vacation gem. We have been blessed to live in beautiful Montana for 20 + years and continue to pinch ourselves daily. We come originally from the east & west coasts and spent 20 years in Alaska before finding our home in the Bitterroot Valley.
We have 3 daughters, our son-in-law, and our beautiful grandchildren living in Missoula.
We live in our country home 35 miles southeast of Missoula outside of Stevensville, MT.

Spending time with our children & grandchildren is high priority for us, besides finding Missoula a beautiful, active & compelling community. There is something to do every night if you want to go out and about, or stay at home and enjoy the cool summer & cozy winter nights. Missoula may be small by city standards but it has a huge heart that expresses itself in community events, Saturday & Sunday Farmers Markets, art, music, theatre, dance, Griz football, Osprey baseball, great food & beverages all abound.

Attention to detail, fine craftsmanship & location, helped us fall in love with the Catlin Gem Apartment. Inside is a well appointed and cozy space filled with comfortable and interesting furnishings. Step outside and within minutes you are either in the heart of the bustling downtown area, hiking up Mount Jumbo, floating or fishing the Clark Fork, Bitterroot and Blackfoot Rivers or exploring, hiking or downhill/cross country skiing the Rattlesnake wilderness, Snowbowl, Lost Trail, Pattee Canyon or Blue Mountain. Entertainment, relaxation and exploration are only bounded by the imagination!
