Step Outside and Experience the Pacific Northwest

Situated on ten acres of coastal rainforest, our Forks WA Lodging is just about as far west as you can get in the lower 48 states. The property’s hemlocks and spruce are still imposing, and there’s a Western Hemlock on the property well over 1000 years old. The grounds include wonderful trails, bits of whimsy and lovely spots to picnic.

Summer is a delight with sunshine and temperatures that rarely rise above 80 F. With winter come the fish. Local rivers (Sol Duc, Bogachiel, Calawah, Hoh) offer world-class salmon and steelhead fishing. We also experience powerful winter storms which shape our coastline. It’s worth a dose of rain and wind in the face to witness one of these, especially when a couch, fire and warm bed are just a couple of minutes away.

Guest Access:
All of our campsites have their own private parking spot (near site sign). You simply park at the designated spot and take a short walk to your site to set up. Located at Tent Site #17.

The Neighborhood:
This is a quiet area with natural surroundings. We are remote and perfectly hidden from the hustle and bustle of the city.

*We are nestled in the middle of so many beautiful spots to visit here around the Olympic National Park. Only 25-30 min to the Hoh Rain Forest, 40 min to the breathtaking Sol Duc entrance to the National Park and Lake Crescent. There are numerous hikes and places to explore there. Cape Flattery, the Ozette Loop, Ruby Beach and so many more.

Points forts : ArrivĂ©e, communication, emplacement et exactitude de l’annonce.
Small trail walk to the a-frame but directions to get there were incorrect as the trail was to left of space 17 parking, not to the right. Said there was a code to get in, but no coded entry. Not even secure from outside but did have latch type lock on inside. Fire ban, so couldn’t use fire pit. Bathrooms were a bit of a walk. There was a shower but bathroom and shower were very dirty. Trash was full and overflowing everywhere I saw a can. Very quiet and little light. A-frame and site was clean.

Points faibles : PropretĂ©, arrivĂ©e, communication, emplacement, exactitude de l’annonce
This place looks good on outside but the inside had bugs crawling, the door entrance has slit so bugs can crawl in. The place smelled horrible. They provide air freshener but made it musty. The overall place didn’t look maintained, window was dirty and other sites had tree branches all over. Making it look like a ghost site. The only nice thing were the mats, after cleaning them we had a nice sleep. Place is way overpriced, you can go on their website and will find better prices. I would recommend tent camping if you have to stay here.

Points faibles : Arrivée, communication
We arrived very late and couldn't find our A frame. Did not receive information ahead of time about location. Did not know that Tent sites were the same as A frame sites. Hearing condensation hit leaves was beautiful and calming; you really got the rain forest feeling. Also loved the rain shower.BUT hardly felt mattress in A frame; it felt like I was sleeping directly on plywood. I love camping but after 2 nights of this experience, we decided to move on and forfeit 2 nights of our reservation.

Location was great, like you had hiked into the rainforest, but convenient. The price was about 3 times too expensive, but it was just what we needed that weekend, as far as a ready made campsite and solid shelter. Nice to have a toilet and shower nearby. Hot water was tricky to use without burns or cold, but worked. Some of the tent sites looked like they offered less privacy, so choose carefully with those. I've added pics of the short trail to the site. The advertised pics are accurate.
