About this property

U Pratu, Bungalows surrounded by nature, natural swimming pool and organic garden - Vignola

Vignola is one of our four bungalows and can accommodate up to 4 people. The bungalows are fully equipped and all have a terrace, barbecue facilities and sun loungers.

Between sea and mountain and in the shade of centuries-old oaks, they are ideally located in the heart of nature, on a plot of four hectares, with a large natural swimming pool (6X12m) accessible at all times just in front of the bungalows and with all the space necessary to walk on the property, relax and bathe in peace.

We produce our organic fruits and vegetables, eggs and olive oil that our guests can choose and buy fresh from the garden!

The flat land is planted with trees, bordered by a small river and dominated by the majestic Mount San Petru (1400 meters).

Our domain is located near (2 min by car, 15 min on foot) from the center of the small village of Petreto Bicchisano and its shops (restaurants, bars, bakeries, butchers, cheese dairy, crafts etc.).

River swimming is a 10-minute drive away and the beaches of Porto Pollo (notably the legendary Cupabia beach) and Propriano in the Gulf of Valinco are 25 minutes' drive away. Ajaccio airport and port are 40 minutes away.

Alta Rocca and its majestic mountains are a 15-minute drive away and the Taravo region offers many activities (horse riding, hiking, prehistoric and natural sites, water sports, etc.)

Un havre de paix et de tranquillité.

Accueil très chaleureux. Un lieu simple dans une nature préservée ou il fait bon se reposer et faire des randonnées. La piscine naturelle est magnifique. A U Pratu le bonheur est dans le pré.

WiFi Detox, Natur und Erholung pru

Wir haben einen traumhaften Urlaub bei Heidi und Francois verleben dürfen. Der Bungalow ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, es hat uns nichts gefehlt. Die meiste Zeit verbringt man auf dem Gelände, wenn man nicht unterwegs ist. Die Ausflugsziele Bonifacio oder Ajaccio oder die Berge oder die traumhaften vielen Strände sind sehr gut erreichbar. Es liegt eine Mappe mit vielen praktischen Tipps und Wanderempfehlungen in jeder Hütte. Die Hüttenn stehen in einem Abstand von ca. 15 Metern auseinander. Man verfügt über sehr viel Privatsphäre. Für Leute die Ruhe vom stressigen Alltag suchen, ist es ein Traum.

Je prends enfin le temps de mettre un commentaire ! Nous avons passé une semaine - hélas trop courte - au pratu. Outre le charme de la Corse, nous avons pu profité d'un lieu très agréable et calme. La philosophie des lieux correspond à notre façon d'envisager la vie, totalement en harmonie avec la nature. Nous sommes arrivés en pleine nuit mais Jean François ne nous en a pas tenu rigueur ;) et nous a accueillis avec le sourire. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié les échanges avec Heïdi et les conseils donnés. Les lieux sont propres et tout est fourni pour faire le ménage ce qui est très appréciable ! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir car nous n'avons pas eu le temps de faire tout ce que nous avions envie et nous n'avons pas eu assez de temps pour échanger autant que nous aurions souhaité avec cette sympathique famille. Heerlijk verblijf in rustige omgeving

Wij (familie met twee kinderen van 7 en 10) hebben drie weken in Pratu verbracht en hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad. De bungalows zijn heel basaal, maar hebben alles wat je nodig hebt. We hebben ons huisje alleen gebruikt om te slapen. Zelfs douchen deden we buiten; Jean-François heeft een heerlijke buitendouche gebouwd, vlak achter de bungalows. Er is een bbq aanwezig (elk huisje heeft er één) en die hebben we dan ook heel vaak gebruikt. De eigenaren, Jean-François en Heidi, zijn enorm vriendelijk, wonen zelf op het erf, samen met hun drie kinderen. Het zwembad is heerlijk. Het dorpje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt: supermarkt, bakker, slager, postkantoor, tankstation en natuurlijk restaurantjes en barretjes. Er is veel te doen in de omgeving. We hebben veel gewandeld en in riviertjes gezwommen. Als je van rust en natuur houdt en het niet erg vindt om 40 minuten te rijden naar het strand, dan is Pratu echt een prima vakantieplek.

Door kikkers in slaap gezongen

Heerlijk verblijf gehad in U Pratu. Met twee pubers is het soms lastig om een plekje te vinden waar iedereen blij van wordt. Dat is hier gelukt! Ondanks, of misschien juist wel dankzij, de afwezigheid van WIFI. De bungalows hebben de juiste voorzieningen. Vooral de buitenkeuken is erg fijn. Naast de geweldige locatie en de ontspannen sfeer is het natuurzwembad erg aantrekkelijk. We kregen soms de kinderen niet mee naar het strand omdat ze in het zwembad wilden blijven. 'S avonds krijg je er een gratis kikkerconcert bij. Als je niet op een tjokvolle camping met allerlei entertainment wilt staan, maar wel vrij snel (voor Corsicaanse begrippen dan) bij mooie stranden, bergen en stadjes wilt zijn. Dan zou ik hier naar toe gaan. Rustig en natuurlijk, zonder suf te zijn.

comment ne pas apprécier un endroit si merveilleux ou règne un calme absolu, ou le paysage est magnifique ! ce lieu est plein de simplicité mais aussi de chaleur, merci pour l'accueil genereux d'Heïdi et Jean François qui sont des hôtes exceptionnels ainsi que leurs 3 petits loups et leur chien (Mascotte des vacances). cette location possède tout le confort nécessaire ( même un lave linge collectif) et surtout une vue sur la superbe piscine naturelle bichonnée par nos hôtes. nous avons également apprécié les échanges et les conseils de Jean François et d'Heïdi, les bonnes adresses et les sites a visiter. Nous reviendrons c'est certain l'an prochain.

Une adresse qu'on voudrait garder secrète... ;-)

Nous avons passé 3 semaines en famille dans une des "cabanes" de Jean François et Heidi et nous sommes enchantés (et c'est peu dire) de nos vacances !! C'était exactement ce que nous cherchions et nous avons vraiment passé un séjour de rêve, loin de l'agitation des touristes et des "normes" attendues des vacances d'été. L'endroit est magnifique, nature, préservé, calme. La piscine est GENIALE, très propre, magnifiquement aménagée, avec de beaux matériaux, bois, galets et végétation, tout en s'intégrant parfaitement dans la beauté du lieu. C'est franchement dur de s'en décoller pour aller à la plage, on y est tellement bien ! Jean François et Heidi sont des hôtes charmants, intéressants et toujours prêts à échanger sur divers sujets. Plein de bons conseils pour les visites, les ballades et autres excursions. Leur gros toutou fait également le bonheur de tous les locataires, petits et grands ! Les chalets sont très bien, tout à fait conformes à l'annonce et aux photos. Ce n'est certes ni luxueux, ni très spacieux, mais c'est largement suffisant et confortable. Nous avions par ailleurs une salle de bain toute neuve, bonne surprise ! Le tout est bien équipé, barbecue, transats, etc... Ce petit coin de paradis est situé à 2 pas d'un village perché, qui offre de nombreux commerces, dont une boucherie incontournable avec une viande de grande qualité. Je vous conseille particulièrement les brochettes de filet mignon ! Un point de départ parfait pour partir en randonnée, le tout à 25 minutes de la plage. Bref des vacances parfaites et dépaysantes !!

Paradies auf Korsika

Was für ein Urlaubsdomizil!! Leben in der Natur mit einem tollen Schwimmteich, unglaublich netten und hilfsbereiten Vermietern, die einem das Gefühl gaben, fast Teil der Familie zu sein. Morgens den Kaffee auf der Terrasse des Holzhauses genießen und dabei eine tolle und ruhige Landschaft erleben können. Tagsüber entweder den Schwimmteich für sich einnehmen oder Korsika entdecken (einen super Strand ca. 30 Automin. entfernt, Wanderungen in die Berge unternehmen, Städtetrips Ajaccio, Bonifazio etc., Menhire in Filitosa bestaunen usw.) und immer das gute Gefühl dabei, sich wieder auf das Häuschen zu freuen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt, lebten den ganzen Tag draussen in der Natur, ( Küche auf der Terasse) und haben jeden Augenblick dort genossen. Ebenso begeistert waren wir von der nachhatigen Bewirtschaftung des Areals sowie -für uns sehr wichtig- der Freiheit für unseren Hund, dem es dort ganz offenbar so gut gefiel, dass er jede Nacht mehrfach rauswollte, um alles genau erkunden zu können. Aus unserer Sicht absolut empfehlenswert, wenn wir noch einmal nach Korsika fahren, werden wir bei Jean-Francois und Heidi wieder buchen. Lieben Dank an Euch nocheinmal, Arne und Claudia.

P'tit coin de paradis sur l'île de beauté

Les petits chalets sont très chaleureux avec plein de petites attentions ( faut y aller pour savoir :) )Merci Heidi!!! J'adore!!!! Le cadre est splendide avec la piscine naturelle, qui comporte des coins pour les enfants en bas âge, les transats, le petit bois à proximité avec la balançoire pneu ( j'adore!!!), départ, du bungalow ( oui oui ), d'une rando à la rencontre des vaches sauvages de corse. Les bungalows sont bien équipés avec bouilloire, cafetière, casseroles, poêles, huile, produits d'entretien, revue sur la corse. Ici, enfin là-bas, il fait bon vivre avec ce village où se trouve une boucherie moderne proposant des produits de qualité (pour le barbecue)et une bouchère très sympathique. Pour ceux qui ont des chiens, pas de soucis il y a de l'espace et un copain avec qui il pourr Et pour finir, Jean-François et Heidi sont des propriétaires très gentils, disponible, souriants, généreux et soucieux du bien être de leur locataire ainsi que leur enfants qui sont à leur image. Je pourrais encore en dire, mais il faut vous laisser quelques surprises!!! Y aller c'est y revenir! A bientôt§ Floriane, Julien, Kenji et Al Pach

Welcome chez les trappeurs

Petits chalets qui donnent l'impression de vivre comme les trappeurs... Très sympathiques car au milieu d'un écrin de verdure. C'est hyper reposant! Nous avons profité d'un salle de douche toute neuve...bien agréable. Le village est parfait pour graviter entre montagne et mer. Je recommande la fromagerie...

Littl piece of Corsican paradise

Wonderful place. Three wooden cabins under the trees, about 10-20 meters apart from each other so there’s enough privacy. They are small but comfortable enough with kitchen, bathroom and two tiny bedrooms. And you live outside anyway, either on the nice porch or the beautiful swimming place with it’s big terrace. Biggest plus is how tranquil the place is. No cars or anything, just the sounds of nature: the birds and frogs, the rushing of the waterfall. The grounds are a combination of garden, forest and farmland with a small stream flowing through it – very idyllic, and the view from your porch towards sunset is lovely. Owners are very friendly and surprised us with some fresh vegetables from their garden. We really enjoyed ourselves and for our daughter (3) it was a big adventure, exploring the forest – and finding a car-tire-swing. With the owners huge Berner Senner dog lying around and their daughter playing with ours on the porch we sometimes felt like part of the family. It’s a 5-10 minutes drive uphill to Petreto where there’s a small groceries store, boulangerie, petrol station and ATM as well as some restaurants. By the way, the place is a little of the road, so instructions from the owner can be usefull. All together: don’t go here for luxury and partying, but if you like it quiet and natural this little piece of Corsican paradise is yours.

A very beautiful and quiet spot

We enjoyed our stay very much. The spot is beautiful and quiet and not too far from the street between Ajaccio and Propriano, so it also was an ideal starting point for exploring the south east of Corsica. The bungalow was large enough for the two of us, but it might be a bit small if you stay there with four persons. Also it was already getting a bit cold in the evenings, at the end of September, so if you visit off season later then September it might get too cold. We enjoyed our stay there very much and are happy to recommend these bungalows for others to spend their holidays there.

Précisions générales

Les petits chalets sont très mignons autour de la magnifique piscine naturelle. L'endroit est charmant, au milieu de nulle part, gardé par un très gros chien adorable. Précisons toutefois que l'accès est un peu difficile par une route en terre plutôt délabrée qui vous coûtera quelques impacts de pare-choc (On avait une 208 de location, ca râclait systématiquement)... Un peu gênant avec des voitures de location pour lesquelles on vous facture la moindre rayure. Autre aspect à prendre en compte, on ne peut manger qu'à l'extérieur. Il n'y a ni table ni chaise ni canapé, rien pour s'installer à l'intérieur. En septembre c'est déjà un peu tard, il fait frais, et les soirées se finissent en queue de poisson... Au lit à 21h... Bref je pense que l'endroit est ultra-sympathique en plein été mais à éviter s'il fait frais.

Drie kleine blokhutjes met prima inrichting met voldoende privacy en een fantastisch uitzicht op een schitterend terrein met natuurlijk zwembad. Heel vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaren wonen aan de andere kant van het terrein, waar ze groenten van eigen moestuin verkopen. Fantastisch voor kinderen. Goede bereikbaarheid.

Midden in de natuur

Huisje met alle basics die je nodig hebt. Schoon en netjes. De keuken is te klein om uitgebreid te koken, maar er is bij elk huisje een goede BBQ en er zit een goede slager in het dorp. Het natuurzwembad is heerlijk om in af te koelen en heeft een mooi uitzicht. Fijn dat er geen chemicaliën in zitten. De kinderen kunnen heerlijk veilig rondbanjeren over het terrein. Er is ook een klein speeltuintje. En een grote hond, maar die is heel lief en kindvriendelijk en komt niet op de veranda. Eigenaren zijn warm en behulpzaam. Hadden zelfs goede tips voor ons voor navolgend verblijf in Cape du Corse. Aarzel niet, hier kom je tot rust.

Nous avons passé une semaine dans ce chalet idéalement situé entre mer et montagne et dans une nature forte agréable. Notre cabane était fonctionnelle et agréable à vivre. L'accueil des propriétaires a été chaleureux et nous n'hésiterons pas à conseiller cette location autour de nous.
