We loved our stay! It was a perfect location to get to Yellowstone and Teton national park. Plenty of room and well stocked for our family. The views from the porch were beautiful, and we got to enjoy the peace and quiet by the river in the mornings and evenings.

From owner: "Hi Eric, I hope you enjoyed your stay. I am getting a new grill for the house, so if you were to stay with us again, there will be a new grill. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to create a path to the river per the Army Corps of Engineers. They don’t want any manipulation of the hillside down to the riverbank because of erosion during high water. Thanks for the review; we hope you stay with us again!"

Fishing trip
Beautiful setting on the warm river. It was perfect for spending a few days fishing on the Henry’s Fork.
Secluded home next to the river. If you need to get away from the city, this is the place to stay. An hour drive to Yellowstone and an hour and a half to Grand Teton. I highly recommend this place
Me and my son enjoyed our stay. The location was in between Yellowstone and Jackson WY, so travel to either place was a little time but nothing bad. The house was fully furnished with everything we needed and that was great. We had no problems arise with the home during our weeks stay. Had a great time!
New house with everything you need to stay. The road into the house needs a few more signs. We arrived in the dark and it was a little hard to find but once we got there, it was great.

From the owner: "Hi Casey! Thank you for your feedback. We have added more signs and some lights because you are right, when it is dark, it is dark out there. We hope you enjoyed your stay and look forward to hosting you again!"
We loved the location. The house was very roomy and clean. We were able to hike down a little bit and fly fish right in front of the house. We’re from Texas so we loved the fact that it was air conditioned. Just 54 miles to Yellowstone and Ashton is the sweetest town. We also had lots of access to different rivers for fishing. We hope to stay again!

From the owner: "Thank you for staying at our place! We are happy you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you back!"
This is a beautiful home and the setting was gorgeous. The walk around the house from the driveway was the only inconvenience. It was loose gravel, so it was challenging to walk in for folks in their 60’s with bags and luggage. A concrete sidewalk will be an excellent future update, hopefully. There was also no grill on the patio as described, or one available. Will certainly see about a return visit. Don’t let my remarks keep you from this stay. The home is lovely.
Location is very isolated in a small quaint town. If you’re looking to escape away to natures beauty, this is your place. Bald Eagles back and forth on the river during sunrise, beautiful sunsets, beautiful star gazing, flowing peaceful river, after long days at the parks, etc. Few minor issues with door to deck not latching properly, grill needs to be replaced but again minor and nothing that takes away from a 5 star. Better access to river would have also been great. This is truly a beautiful and peaceful place.
The property is nice, new, clean. Only suggestion is to ditch all the air fresher; very overwhelming smell & felt like you were covering up something. Also, a paver sidewalk would be much better than the stone path. Wasn't easy to walk on or get luggage in and out.
The property is very nice. The home was clean and had what was needed to be comfortable.
It’s described as “an angler’s dream” but there’s really not a safe way to get to the river from the property. There’s just one little thing that was kind of quirky. The bathroom window in the master bath is not completely covered and with a house nearby it was a bit unnerving.
But all in all it was a great experience. The river houses a couple of eagles that would sit in the nearby trees. From the porch we saw the neighbors horses, chipmunks, birds and a beautiful night sky.
We visited Yellowstone, The Grand Tetons, and Mesa Falls. Ashton,ID is a good centralized location.
The view from the porch is breathtaking! Every morning we went out with coffee and listened to the river. The cabin had everything you needed for cooking. We ran out of propane and the host immediately brought us a new one. It was about an hr from Yellowstone and two from the Grand Tetons. The scenery you experience is worth the drive! Over all an amazing and relaxing stay!
What a great place for our trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. About an hour from each, and the location is so peaceful and beautiful. The most incredible sunrise each morning from the deck overlooking a river. And at night, just wow at the stargazing from the property - can see the Milky Way so clearly. Great place to stay for your national parks trip!
This house was perfect for our group of 4 adults (2 of which are in their 20s). The house was clean and plenty big enough for our group and we didn't use the bunk beds. The view off the deck is wonderful and perfect for the end of the day to relax. The views in the morning are breath taking. The location is wonderful. We went to Yellowstone two days, 3 days of float trips/fly fishing, 1 tubing trip, and 2 days of hiking. We went to Grand Targhee and this is a must-do! We didn't get to fish in the river because we ran out of time but did see tubers and fly fisherman and most days saw a bald eagle hanging out. Highly recommend this house,

Bad way in
The house was very comfortable well equipped
You had to go to back of house to get in which had 3-4 inch deep gravel walkway which I turned my ankle twice the garage was locked by owner which would have been easy way in not handy cap exc.
That being said is a good place to stay
Excellent cabin in great condition with an open floor plan, a wide deck and great kitchen! Very clean, and huge TV with Roku! Highly recommend this property.
Of note, there’s no convenient access to river however the views of the river are beautiful!
This house was perfect for our family for two nights as we visited Montana / Yellowstone and Jackson, Wyoming. The house is new and overlooks a beautiful river with a great porch to relax. The house is big and well equipped. One bedroom has four bunk beds which is where my three boys slept. There is no AC but the fans did a great job and it cooled down at night. A little tricky to find on the map but once we found the signs we got there.
We chose this location to be close to Yellowstone and other National Parks. It was perfectly located and easy to get to. The ranch itself was amazing along with the scenery around it. We were able to grab groceries at the local store and cook most meals to save on money. The guest contact was incredibly responsive and helpful. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!
