cozy quiet clean place to stay
contact was very nice and helpful with any questions.. the place was spotless clean the bed was comfy and the pillows also! i was nervous about the air unit not keeping it cool enough but boy was i wrong it gets nice and cold in there especially with the ceiling fan and the power it has!the place was stocked well the extra cookies where a nice treat <3 all in all i would stay here again
The property was in a nice location with great views of the sunset over the water. It was nice and quiet with plenty of trees to make you feel secluded, but we enjoyed the short drive into town to visit the shops and restaurants of the historic district. The cottage itself was very clean and had everything we needed.
Nantucket Cottage and the property were a delightful retreat. Beautiful and quiet location on the marsh of Lanceford Creek, but close to everything we needed. The dock was a perfect way to begin and end each day. We hope to return!

Nantucket Cottage
From check-in to check-out it was a great experience. My room was very clean and had all the necessities for a mini weekend getaway. The sunset from the dock is breathtaking! And Amelia Island is only a 10-15 min drive with plenty of food options. Will definitely be booking this cottage again in the future!
Absolutely perfect vacation rental for couples. The attention to detail was amazing. Great location. The back yard and sunsets in the evening were perfect. Alexis and Mike were good people and i wish we had more time to visit with them. Will definitely be back. Thank you for a perfect stay!
The is property is tucked away on a secluded street but just a few miles from Amelia Island and all the fun. The cottage is super clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The cottage is super close to the dock with beautiful sunsets. The host was welcoming and made sure we had what we needed for the week.
Loved location. Would have preferred a bigger room. Also, the shower was not draining properly and TV was satellite so kept cutting in and out. Wifi horrible as well.
Private, warmly furnished cottage at the end of a quiet lane (no thru traffic). Feed the gulls from the dock at sunset ... yet minutes away from the beach, eclectic dining, shops and history of Fernandina Beach and Amelia. Ideal location for playing the best island and off-island golf courses. Not to mention the host/owner is the best, on top of every detail to assure a pleasant, comfortable stay.
Quiet clean and true cottage charming. It was delightful to sleep with the windows open and hear the birds. The parking was spacious and the location easy to find, but feeling back water marshy. Would loved to have fished.
Needs to be sprayed for insects. Found several bugs inside while there. Needs some type of curtain on front window for privacy. Other than that, great little place to get away from the outside world and relax

Hi Robert, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: - We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were both surprised and disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns. - We were unaware of any issues or concerns during your stay and wish you had reached out. We would have promptly responded and been more than happy to help. We use a professional pest control service that routinely inspects and treats the home as a precautionary measure. We will follow up with our pest control service for further investigation. - We take our listing accuracy seriously and use professional photography for the home, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised, which includes a photo of the front window with the wooden shutter on the lower portion of the window for privacy, but we're sorry if this had a negative impact on your stay. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
The quirky Nantucket cottage is as described in the listing. Although not far from the main thoroughfare, it feels really secluded. Nestled in the woods surrounded by nature with a fabulous outlook over the river from the dock. Lots of wading birds, dolphins, and even a little shark. Would highly recommend this property and Alexis is a delight - very welcoming. If we’re ever back in north east again this will be top of our list.

Check-in instructions state the property is keyless; it is not. So, that was confusing. The water smelled & tasted metallic.

Great cottage tucked away!
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The drive in was beautiful with all the moss covered trees. We enjoyed our mornings and evenings at the dock doing a little fishing and bird watching. The cottage was decorated very cute, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large enough for 2. The only negative was the A/C unit. It was rather loud and made it hard to hear the TV if you wanted to watch, but overall the cottage was great!

A little slice of paradise
Loved this quirky little cottage nestled in the woods beside the river. Perfect location, lovely interior and everything you need for a restful stay. The dock area is great - sit enjoying a morning coffee or evening glass of wine and watch the wading birds at low tide. Great spot to watch for dolphin and little sharks. Alexis is a charming attentive host, ensuring that everything is perfect for your stay. If we ever return to north east Florida, this perfect slice of paradise will be top of our list. Would highly recommend this delightful cottage. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Alexis.
Good clean lodging. Great place for a quiet weekend with the spouse. Wanted to give 5 stars, but had to knock off one due to being unable to connect to the wifi. The router is in another residence and the signal was too weak to connect. Host tried to fix the issue and contacted Comcast to reset the router, but unfortunately that did not help. As stated by another reviewer, I would also recommend that a curtain be placed over the large front window for privacy.
Very nice place to relax and yet do lots of fun short trip adventures!
Great location! Clean. Only complaint would be the smell of must. Very musty smelling but I’m sure it’s hard to control in the environment. Maybe a dehumidifier would help.
Husband and I stayed in the Nantucket cottage for our anniversary. Very quaint and privately located with access to a shared boat dock and Communal fire pit. Property manager left us bread for the birds and cookies for us. Definitely recommend.
