3 Bedroom Cottage with an Amazing View

Located on a wide, quiet bay on the Winnipeg River 15 minutes north of Kenora, ON, 5 minutes off the trans-Canada highway, this 3 bedroom cottage bungalow will comfortably host 6 guests in 3 bedrooms (1 queen bed, 2 singles, 2 singles), living room, full kitchen and bathroom, screened veranda and deck. It has its' own dock on the water to enjoy swimming, fishing, or docking your boat.
Cabin basics include bed linens, pillows, blankets, one set of towels per guest, hand soap, firepit, internet, basic TV. Kitchen has all basics including microwave, coffee maker, drinking water, BBQ, dish towels and dish soap.

Contact host for discounted off season pricing Sept 15 - April 30.

Note this location is not ideal for those with mobility issues as there is a steep path down to the docks.
Please be advised that water is untreated and drawn from the river. Drinking water is provided.
This is a pet friendly property, as is the other building in the same yard which we also rent.

Absolutely perfect Thanksgiving getaway! The cottage was so cozy and welcoming, very clean and spacious and only a 15 mins drive into downtown Kenora. Everything we needed for a relaxing family weekend was provided including kitchen amenities for a turkey dinner and board games for evening entertainment! The sunroom and deck were our favorite spots to hang out as we couldn't get enough of the beautiful lake view, rain or shine! We also enjoyed the scenic country road as it was a perfect quiet place for sniff walks with the pups. Thank you Serena for being a great host! We will definitely be back!

Lovely spot with clean, well appointed cabin

The property is tidy and the cabin is well kept and neat with pretty much everything you need. It was easy to find, there are a handful of cabins so it doesn't feel busy or crowded at all. The private dock was lots of fun, our kids jumped and jumped. We enjoyed paddling around in our canoe on the river and it was quick and easy to drive to down for a treat or anything you might need at the store, etc.

Fishing fishing and more fishing

Pictures don’t do this place justice. Stunning view! Beautiful screened in porch to unwind after a days fishing. Everything you could need from the kitchen,bathroom,laundry room and bedrooms. The hosts were extremely gracious and easy to communicate with as she reached out right away in the morning of check in. Will hopefully be booking again next summer

We fell in love with view from the sunroom, getting up extra early just to watch the sunrise, and listen to the many bird calls.

A Wonderful Lake Vacation

The cabin is very spacious and comfortable. We used the screened in sun porch and deck a lot. The view of the lake is beautiful!

Property exactly as described. Nice and quiet with just a short drive to town, if necessary, for groceries or dining. Really enjoyed the screened in porch for morning coffee and evening unwind. Teens and dogs loved the dock and water.

A Little Piece of Heaven

We were surprised how spacious the cabin was. The screened in sunroom with a spectacular view could not be beat. The cabin was extremely clean. All around a great stay.

Amazing Stay!

We loved our stay at Serena’s cabin. The property offers everything you need for a great getaway. Everything was clean and the cabin was perfect for our group. The view is absolutely breathtaking! We will be back!

Relaxing getaway on the Winnipeg River

Our family of 6 (including 2 canine kids) enjoyed our stay at this N. Ont camp. The accommodations were clean and spacious. Close enough to Kenora for extra groceries and shopping on a rainy day. Our owner was accessible, and even brought a tensor bandage for one of our dogs' wounded paw.

Beautiful location and very nice cottage . Serena was very nice to deal with and easy to contact . We felt like we were in heaven the ambience was just breath taking . We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a piece of heaven just awesome .

Perfect cabin on the water

The cabin as well as the owner were all that we could off asked for. Comfortable, clean accomodations that were as described in the listing. Serena, the owner was very warm and hospitable. She did everything possible to make your stay enjoyable. Very nice and would highly recommend.

Great cabin and view!

We loved our stay here! The screened in room was ideal for our little ones to play in and the cabin was very spacious! The water was beautiful and Serena was very generous to share toys and pool noodles for our kiddos! She was very responsive to anything we needed. The cabin was a little far from town to make several trips in a day like we were doing but overall the place was great!

Amazing View!!

Pictures don’t do this place justice! Beautiful river view! Close to town for all your needs. FYI can only get your fishing license at Canadian tire. Walked into a clean beautiful house with ample space for 7 adults. Large dock with plenty of room for 2 boats! The river was up so the fishing was slow but we always caught enough fish for a fish fry every evening! Loved the long days…..didn’t get dark until 10:30pm so we had lots of time to fish throughout the day! We just love our trips to Canada and love the house we choice for our stay! Serena was so pleasant and easy to deal with! Even brought over more water when we got low! Don’t hesitate to stay in one of their rentals you won’t regret it! Excellent host and nice house with amazing views!! Thanks for sharing your home with us! Hopefully we’ll see you next year! Dawn

Wonderful getaway shortened only because of severe blizzard 🌨 warning

Serena was an awesome hostess👏 Very accommodating and understanding’ The cottage was very clean, cozy and roomy with lots of natural light and a magnificent view’! We enjoyed watching the geese skid into the ice remaining on the lake into open water and the otter sliding On His belly on the ice😂 The cottage had everything we needed ! Unfortunately we had to leave early due to An upcoming blizzard but we will definitely find out way back to this beautiful spot someday👍💕

What a view ❤️

Mark and Serena thanks for making our stay awesome . Super host they are .. Lots of space inside and out . Great view , swimming and fishing right off the dock . We brought our kayaks had a little sandy spot on the shore for easy access on the quiet waters . New fridge ,new stove new bbq very well equipped kitchen. Bright and clean . Can’t wait to return . Thanks again !
