Whispering Pines Lakehouse:
This Beautiful Lakehouse located on Little Woahink lake and just across the road from Woahink lake is one of the most scenic lakes in Oregon and they are sure to please the entire family. This gorgeous private home sits just above Little Woahink lake where you can swim, or enjoy your favorite non-motorized watercraft. After a day on the water relax in the hot tub or grill up your favorite meal with the gas grill on the expansive rear deck. Inside this wonderful home you will enjoy the fully stocked kitchen, a cozy family room with huge windows to enjoy the scenery, and books and games for those rainy nights. When it's time to turn in you will have two master suits to choose from, the first (bedroom #1) is a large suite with a king bed, a huge bathroom with a soaking tub, walk in shower, and private door to the rear deck. The second Master suite (bedroom #4) offers extra privacy located at the far end of the home above the garage with a private bathroom, a king bed, a futon couch that converts to a queen bed, and a private rear deck. The two additional bedrooms just off the main living space use a shared 1/2 bathroom, Bedroom #2 has a bunk bed with a pull out bed underneath giving you three twin beds and has a foosball table, bedroom #3 can also double as a sitting room and has a pull down Queen bed with a separate entrance.
This pet friendly Lakehouse has room for the entire family, close to the Oregon dunes, Old Town Florence, and all Mother Nature has to offer.
Woahink Lake:
Woahink extends further below sea level than any other lake dammed by sand dunes along the coast. Woahink lake fills a depression in the Siltcoos River watershed about 3 miles from the Pacific Ocean south of Florence along U.S. Route 101.
Woahink lake is popular for a variety of activities, including boating, skiing, fishing. Species include largemouth bass, rainbow and coastal cutthroat trout, yellow perch, and others. Woahink state park on the east side of the highway has boat ramps, a roped-off swimming area, group tent camps, picnic areas, and a meeting hall.
What’s nearby:
This home is a quick drive from multiple access points to the Oregon Dunes and ocean
beaches including popular access on South Jetty Road then the city of Florence just a few miles north. The charming Old Town section of the city
is filled with lovely shops, cafes, galleries, and restaurants.
You will also be minutes from numerous trailheads for hiking or mountain biking. The
coastal forests flourishing in Douglas fir and Sitka spruce extend nearly to the Ocean.
Some trails wind up over and through sand dunes offering hikers the opportunity to
experience the unique natural wonders of this area. Bring your camera!
Take a scenic drive up Hwy 101 to Heceta Head Lighthouse where free tours are
offered daily.
Get your adrenalin flowing on a nearby dune buggy tour or with an ATV rental, or go crabbing from the Siuslaw Bay public fishing.
