Enjoyed relaxing in this cabin and appreciated having washer/dryer in the cabin. It’s a bit of a drive to Cabot trail, but enjoyed coming back to the peacefulness of this location and lazy mornings.
Another great stay for a project in the area: clean, easy to access and cozy. Thanks!

We walked in the door and looked around. Literally everything you could ask for was in the cabin. Layout is beautiful, screened in deck is very nice. Temp control is great. There were toys inside for the kids to play with. Just an amazing experience run by great people. Definitely recommend
Our family (mom, dad and our three 18+ children) had a wonderful stay at the cabin! It was clean and well-equipped to make dinner after a day of exploring. It was centrally located for the activities we wanted to do on Cape Breton. Overall, we had a great time!
We had a great stay. Easy access to the Cabot Trail. The cabin had everything you needed. It was beautifully decorated and clean. Lovely screened in porch to sit out at night. The was also a fire pit area for everyone to enjoy.
The host was easy to get a hold of and answered all our questions.
I would highly recommend this cabin for a stay.
Our cabin exceeded our expectations. It was so new and clean! We loved it and would highly recommend it. Plenty of room for 4 or 5. The cabin is tucked back in off the main road along with 4 other cabins so you feel like you're in your own little valley.
We loved our stay in this lovely cabin! It is so beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and has absolutely everything you could require. The views are breathtaking, and we so enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch taking it all in. The owners are wonderful, warm and so welcoming. We loved it! Thank you so much Chris and family!

Adonai Cabins were cute, in a quiet remote setting in the middle of the forest along a dirt road. Every trip required about a ten minute drive to somewhere useful. The cabins were clean and had all the basic necessities. The kitchen was barebones with hardly any cooking utensils, but we did manage to do some cooking. Heating worked well, as did the hot water and laundry machines. There were a lot of religious texts as part of the decoration.
Excellent communication with the host.
The cottage is new and well furnished. The location is near the start of the Cabot trail. The river running near the cottage property could well be the center of many a adventure picture. It was an amazing experience. Thanks.

Thanks so much! You guys were great and we'd love to have you back any time!
Thank you Chris, for a memorable stay on your beautiful property! Cabin is new--,has great kitchen and grill for cooking. Bed is comfy. Enjoyed the screen porch every day--keeping the pesky bugs outside! So peaceful to watch the sun set behind the mountains. Good location for getting to Cape Breton National Park--a must! and to Baddeck and St. Annes. Had excellent view and lunch at Lobster Galley. Inverness has awesome beaches. Thanks, Chris. Hope to be back one day.
Had a wonderful stay, a real gem in Cape Breton! We really enjoyed everything the cottage had to offer. The cottage has everything you will need, the owners really paid attention to all of the little details. The cottage is modern and new, it was a real treat to stay there. The property is very large, lots of space to explore. Amazing river close by, effectively a private stream for you to enjoy. The natural surrounding is beautiful, we really enjoyed the environment around the cottage. So peaceful and refreshing - it really gave us city dwellers time to recharge. Hosts are very kind and generous, had great interactions with the owner, he was always responsive to any needs. Really hope to visit again in the future, would not hesitate to book again!

Thank you, Kevin. You guys were awesome and you are always welcome here!
Chris was awesome to deal with. We were not able to stay because of impending hurricane Fiona. Chris responded promptly to our enquiries Chris was sympathetic to our situation and offered us compensation for future stays, even though we were passed dates of recompense. Terrific person especially facing possible destruction of his property

Darren, that is so kind of you to say. I can't wait to meet you. I can see you are a very kind person indeed.
Maybe one of my favourite VRBOs that I've stayed at. Stayed here for 4 nights as a family of 5 while we explored Cape Breton. The owners are so kind and helpful and gave us a number of suggestions for places to eat and trails to hike.
The cabins are fantastic and have everything we needed for our home away from home and even some thoughtful extras. These were so greatly appreciated considering the cabins are a bit of a drive from places to restock. Loved the screened-un porch and sitting there at the end of the day watching the sun set.
The Dancing Goat cafe: got breakfast, snacks, scones, lunch, coffee.....all amazing!
Spent about 11-12 hrs leisurely driving the Cabot Trail circuit with lots of stops, picnic lunch, skyline trail, dinner and more. Spectacular on a sunny day!
This was a great place to stay for exploring Cape Breton. Highly recommend!!
First of all, the Adonai Adventure property is beautiful! The cabin is actually even better than the pictures show. The attention to detail is amazing as every comfort you would need is there...even bug spray (as you will need it if you come in the summer). The property has great views of the hills and there is access to the Margaree River should you like to head down and enjoy the view, sounds and maybe some fly fishing, if you're so inclined. On our last morning there I went for a run and saw a pair of bald eagles down at the Margaree Fishery helping themselves to the local smorgasbord. The property is just off the Cabot Trail so we were able to enjoy the drive and a few hikes during our stay (don't miss White Point as the views are stunning with seals and what we perceived to be a whale sighting too!). The hosts (the Wimpeys) were wonderful as they were available, attentive to the needs of their guests, and have such a unique and inspirational story that is worth hearing! Our visit wasn't long enough to see everything we would have liked on Cape Breton, so we are looking forward to a return visit in the future. Note that the property is so quiet and peaceful should you prefer to just relax and recharge, so you could use Adonai Adventure cabins as your choice for a secluded getaway or as a great base camp for your Cabot Trail adventure.
The property was exactly as described. It is situated in a beautiful clearing minutes off the Cabot Trail. The owners are wonderful people who are very welcoming and who made sure that we had everything that we needed. We would recommend this property to anyone for exploring the Cabot Trail, fishing in the Margaree river, hiking on Cape Breton or just wanting a quiet vacation to relax and recharge.
