This beautifully-appointed 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home sits on a quiet street in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea. Stunning stone on the exterior and interior lend old-world sensibilities to this 1,800-square-foot classic.

Living Spaces:
A light-filled entry hall is lined with windows on one side and a wall with stone façade opposite. The vivid red entry door and accents continue into the living room.

The living room features wood floors and an expansive tray ceiling that enhances the sense of spaciousness. Relax in comfort on the sofa that faces the gas fireplace with stone surround. A large flat screen TV is mounted above the mantel. Built-in shelving with tasteful art pieces graces the wall behind. There’s a charming built-in window seat where you can curl up with a good book. Well-equipped for extended stays!

Kitchen and Dining:
The kitchen is expansive with vaulted white wood ceilings and beams. A skylight shines light on the large butcher block island in the heart of the kitchen area. Gourmet appliances including a KitchenAid refrigerator/freezer with a filtered water dispenser, Wolf range and Bosch dishwasher, along with a microwave oven, toaster and Keurig and drip coffee makers are featured. A dining table, built-in desk and banquette, stone tile flooring with radiant heating complete the spacious room.

The backyard is an oasis of colorful plantings and old growth trees. Stone steps lead to a tucked away bench, perfect for contemplation. A table with 4 chairs sits on a stone patio next to an outdoor heater to warm a chilly evening. A large gas grill affords the option of cooking alfresco.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
Two bedrooms are upstairs/on the main level with the living areas.
Bedroom #1 is a luxurious suite with vaulted ceiling painted in soft white, includes a king size bed, a sofa tucked in a window-lined alcove and lush carpet in a neutral tone. The en suite bath is roomy and has a large soaking tub, shower, commode in a private area and a stone tiled floor with radiant heating.

The upstairs hall bathroom that sits adjacent features a large shower with rain shower head, stone counter tops and stone tile flooring with radiant heating.

Down a flight of wood stairs, you’ll find Bedroom #3 furnished with a queen bed and an en suite bath that includes a shower and vanity with sink.

In the downstairs hall there is a stacking washer and dryer in the laundry area.

It’s a short walk to town along the quiet streets. Stroll down Ocean Avenue to the beautiful Carmel beach. See if you can spot some Dolphins! Explore the streets of the village where you’ll find wine tasting venues, gourmet grocery stores and delis, world-class restaurants, cafes, shops and art galleries of every ilk. Catch a performance at the historic Sunset Center or outdoor Forest Theater. A short drive takes you to the Crossroads, The Barnyard and Carmel Rancho shopping centers where you’ll find even more services and shopping. Plan a day trip or two to explore Carmel Valley, Big Sur, Pacific Grove and Monterey to discover the unique aspects of the Monterey Peninsula.

There’s off-street parking for one car on the stone-paved driveway. Additional on street parking is available but not directly in front of the home.

This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner. Extended stays are often possible.
