Great place for girls trip

We had a great time our girls trip. The screened in porch with heater was perfect for our chilly nights. The firepit was nice too. Loved having the dock. We rented a boat and the captain picked us up right from the dock!

Extended family vacation

We spent 6 days here on vacation and the only thing we would change is wishing we could stay longer. The house is a great location, it is well stocked with anything you could need. We loved gathering on the screen porch. The dock had boat slips for our jet ski and rental pontoon boat. We swam, fished, tubed, skied, played corn hole, board games, and just had a wonderful week with our family. Jeff is a great host, answered questions timely. House was beautiful. We hope to stay there again in the future!

Great vacation place for kids and adults

House was beyond our expectations! Kids and adults had a blast swimming off the dock. My daughter and I got up every morning and drank coffee by the lake and watched the sun rise. We brought our tandem kayak and enjoyed early mornings on the lake. Good response from property manage dat we arrived and thought we had an issue. We are already looking at coming back next year and sty at the house again. PS Neighbor with the Great Dane named Dominic, was very friendly and helpful.

Poor Maid Service

No clean towels were available, dirty towels were in the laundry, so we had to wash them our self, propane tanks were empty, so we couldn't use grill for our diner once arrived. Propane was brought only next morning.Contact phone # provided is for Maid service, which is not useful for any other questions except cleaning..., had to call three times to explain my issue to maids, so they can pass it on to the owner.Other than that stay was good.

Beautiful home

This home is beautiful and right on the water. The cleaning is lacking. We found trash throughout the home and outside. The cleaning company dropped the ball on the bedding and we were without the first night. The owner of the home was prompt and getting it figured out so we had bedding the second night and refunded us the first night. The dryer does not work you have to run it 3/4 times and it still is damp. We ended up hang drying towels. Honestly this house would be a 10/10 if they get a better cleaning company and a new dryer

The house and location was absolutely gorgeous. However, the home was NOT cleaned properly or sanitized. It was very dirty in general and they need to hire a new cleaning service. Also, the hot tub was nearly unusable as it was so dirty. The evening before we were leaving someone came unannounced to service the hot tub and informed us not to use it because it's going to need a full dump and refill, which was not of our doing. There are quite a few broken things in the home. The downstairs shower, the ice maker, the jacuzzi jets in the master bath. The washing machine also broke while we were there doing the light loads of towels. I did not receive responses from any contact personnel provided.

Our records show we were not notified during your stay about any issues with the cleaning, and I wish we had the opportunity to address this for you while you were there. As for the hot tub, I apologize for the inconvenience. Regular maintenance is necessary to ensure safety and cleanliness, but the visit should not have interfered with your enjoyment. I will work with our service team to improve communication around this in the future. I am also sorry about the maintenance issues you encountered. We will inspect and address the items mentioned, however we have posted for guests to bring a bag of ice for the freezer. The bathtub jets are off intentionally. Our goal is to provide a comfortable, well-maintained space, and your input helps us improve. Once again, I appreciate your feedback, and I sincerely apologize that we fell short of the 5-star experience we strive to provide. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future with these improvements in place.

Beautiful home but wouldn't stay again due to lack of cleaning

The good: -The location is very convenient -The home is absolutely beautiful, 4 adults(2 couples) and we had plenty of space and privacy -The beds are quality and have comfortable/firm mattresses -The kitchen is very well stocked, we cooked every night and had every thing that we could have needed. -The screen porch was so lovely to sit on and we spent a great percentage relaxing and taking in the gorgeous lake views. -We appreciated that there were plenty of linens, TP, paper towel, hand soap, dish and laundry soap The not so good: -The cleaning is absolutely terrible. We paid a HUGE cleaning fee and received a very dirty rental home that we had to clean ourselves the first couple days of our stay... I suspect the owners clean themselves and don't hire a service. I spent the majority of the 1st day & 2nd day washing the linens...the towels smelled like sweat, the bath mats in the master were visibly dirty(like they hadn't been washed in months), and the bedding was dirty(grass, hair, dirt). -The dryer does not work well, at all. -The home badly needs a deep cleaning. The walls, baseboards & doors were visibly dirty..inside of fridge was dirty. The yard is covered in goose poop. -Water heater is not adequate. The hot water was gone after 2 ten minute showers- listing states that the property sleeps 14, the water heater couldn't even support the 4 of us. -The home next door looks like a junk yard and on several nights we were treated to loud drunken karaoke.

After sending your feedback to the owner, we’d like to share the following: -We use a cleaning service to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival and we're sorry you were not 100% satisfied with the house cleaning. We’ve passed your feedback along to the homeowner who’s working with their cleaning service to make sure that future guests can have a five-star experience! -We are happy to report the dryer vent has been cleaned out. The dryer works, however, it just takes a couple of cycles with large towel or sheet loads. -Additionally, the water heater has been replaced and is new. -We try our best to provide a great environment for guests, but sometimes external factors like the neighbors are simply out of our control. We encourage guests to reach out to us while they are in residence with any issues so that we can address any concerns quickly for a most comfortable stay. Who Needs Hot Water?

Arrived for our Girls Getaway (4, 40+ women) to find a semi-clean house. Meat blood spilled in fridge, hair in bathrooms, showers with black mold in the corners. No mattress covers on mattresses. Bath towels smelled mildewy, like they had been left in washing machine too long, so we washed them. Only then to find out that they dryer doesn't get hot. It took 4 dryer cycles to dry them. The first night, hot water ran out about 2 minutes in to shower. 2nd day, same and then no hot water whatsoever. So we decided to find the hot water heater to make sure pilot light hadn't blown out. Found a BRAND NEW water heater in the process of being plumbed in. Then found the old, dying water heater. Electric, not gas. At this point it is nearly 10 pm. Call the first guest contact number and it is the cleaning service. Called the owner next and left a voicemail. Finally called the property management company and reached Katie, who was a STAR. Explained the situation and when she heard about the BRAND NEW water heater that was not hooked up yet, she got right to it, calling the owner. Owner told her he was not able to get it fixed before our arrival, but that no one else had complained. Which is not true at all. Upon going back to the listing and reading the reviews, the last person to stay at the house prior to us that left a review complained about the hot water too. We elected to leave the property as we realized that if the owner was not able to schedule it to be fixed before our arrival, the chances of getting it fixed at the last minute were slim. We were refunded all but the cleaning fee. Since we were not given a full refund, VRBO would not refund their fees. Thankfully in all my years of using VRBO, nothing like this has ever happened.

We had a great time. Access to the lake was awesome. The home was beautiful and loved the covered porch to keep out the bugs. I do wish the hot water heater worked better. Hot water didn’t last very long.

Great convenient location for a fun Ozark Weekend

It was great to stumble upon this nicely decorated home for an impromptu weekend at the lake. We were positioned very close to the marina to make boat rental and Sea-Doo access perfect . The home was very nicely decorated and well kept with everything we needed for a great weekend. Loved the screened in porch and fire pit!! We will definitely be back… One thing I wanted to mention is the bunkbeds are pretty short… Will not be suitable for teens over 5’8.. BUT PERFECT HOME!!

Just what we needed!

Spent a week during the off season. Extremely quiet and peaceful. Kids loved the bunk beds and games in the garage. Family loved the hot tub. Parents loved the peace and quiet. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Spring break stay

Great panoramic lake views from the house and screened in porch. Easy to get to a variety of places in the Ozarks area within 20-25 minutes. Stocked kitchen. Our son played the pop o shot basketball game in the garage for hours.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We came at the start of the “offseason” but there was still plenty to do! It was actually nice because that made things cheaper and less busy! We absolutely loved the house and it’s location. It was the perfect weekend away for our family. The neighbors were super friendly and loaned the kids kayaks and other water toys. We brought fishing gear and had some fun fishing right off the dock. We will definitely be back and enjoyed our first time at the Ozarks!

Beautiful lake house!

Overall this lake house was a great stay for our family. Loved the screened in porch, hot tub, and fire pit for s'mores. We did have a couple of people get pretty big splinters from the dock so make sure to wear shoes when on it. Thanks again for sharing your house with us during our stay!
