This place is amazing. The views are gorgeous. It has plenty of hikes near and around that you can do. There are also a lot of winery's around. It has plenty of room. The host have created an amazing little booklet for all the things. Grocery store is near by if you want to grab and cook at home. 10 out of 10 I would stay again.

Beautiful Mountain Vacation

We stayed at Bear Ridge over the Thanksgiving holiday (and my apologies again for forgetting my check out date!) It was the perfect location, stunning views and on the days the weather kept us off the hiking trails we really got to enjoy the cabin’s hot tub, fireplace, board games and movie channels. It was a perfect vacation for my family of 4, and I look forward to returning.

We had an amazing time, the house and view were beautiful and perfect for our family with teenagers. The location was central to a lot of what we wanted to see…Vogel State park, Helen, and Blairsville were wonderful! Would love to come back in the fall, and see the changing leaves. The property was just wonderful! Lots of deer spotted in the neighborhood, which we loved!

This cabin was perfect for our family. The deck and hot tub were great. The sitting area downstairs was great for movies, and the cabin had all the amenities we like. The best part was the ease of the check in process, and the communication from the owners. Highly recommend.

Great Mountain Retreat Getaway

The cabin is wonderful. It is fully stocked with everything you need. The master bed was extremely comfortable. The owners are very responsive. And the views are just amazing. It was wonderful to get into the hot tub each evening with the cool outside temperature and the beautiful views. It is centrally located to visit the surrounding towns and sights. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Fun for the whole family

We loved the property and especially the views! This was the perfect place to relax and chill in between short day hikes. We have small children so it was nice to be able to have a comfortable place to relax while they napped. The hot tub was delightful as well. Amy was very responsive and helpful! We did two short hikes nearby, Vogel State Park and Anna Ruby Falls and visited the town of Blairsville and Helene. So much to do and see for all ages.

Great view and location. Needs tidying on the deck.

It was a very nice place and the view was awesome. The house is pretty secluded and quiet but it’s located near all sorts of stores and out door adventures. My only complaint is all of the leaves and sticks all over the deck. Also, the patio furniture needed to be cleaned as well. Other than that, we had a great time!!

Perfect family cabin

This cabin is spacious and comfortable. It is located near so many family friendly activities that you can drive to daily and get back before dark. My kids loved having their own space with the den area downstairs. The views are beautiful, many deer were seen near the cabin. All the amenities you’ll need are there and the grill, fireplace, and fire pit were used often. We didn’t get a chance to use the jacuzzi but it looked intact. The directions to the cabin were very helpful and checking in and out were flawless. We had a great time here and you will too!

AMAZING Cabin on the Ridge

This trip was amazing. Very familiar with area and here mostly for business. Bear Ridge was an incredibe property with a breathtaking view. Brennan and Amy were super responsive and wonderful hosts. The attention to detail was so thoughtful. It is a beautiful home and definitely worth every penny. I highly recommend. Will return very soon. Thank you, Brennan and Amy.

Cozy mountain cabin with the best mountain views. Pictures, layout and description are accurate. Comfortable living room area on main level, fireplace, well-equipped kitchen and eating area. Three bedrooms. Three full bathrooms. Laundry room. Large deck overlooking beautiful mountains. Separate screened in porch. Grill, hot tub, fire pit. Fairly secluded, but close enough to restaurants, hiking and shopping. Easy check in. Hosts provide a lot of helpful information. Available if needed. We would definitely stay here again. One of our best trips.

Lovely Cabin with Fantastic Views!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property owner was very responsive and helpful. (they have put together the BEST book with detailed instructions for things around the house, things to do in the area, complete with color photos, distances, etc., places to eat, wineries or breweries, etc. I know it took them a lot of time and effort but it was such a good resource). The cabin is cozy and comfortable and has beautiful views from the porch(es) and the fire pit. The hot tub, of course, was probably our favorite amenity, but the den with the big screen TV and board games was great for our teens (13, 17, and 18) as well. Cabin is conveniently located to downtown Blairsville, Dahlonega, Young Harris etc. This is a great choice for families!

Family Reunion

My wife and I and two other family members were attending a family reunion in the area. Bear Ridge met our needs very well! There were spices, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Small things but are appreciated! I did ding cleanliness one point. There were a ton of leaves on the deck and front porch entering the house. There was a broom provided....which I used. But seems the cleaning crew could simply blow all leaves and keep those areas cleaner. Overall, a great stay though! T&R

Loved it!

Although this is a pet free rental, we found several areas with dog hair, like the sofa and bath rugs. The owners are pictured with a dog. I’m sure it’s theirs but I would have expected the cleaning company to have made sure they got that up. Also, there were towels provided but absolutely no wash clothes. Overall we enjoyed it and will likely come back, a little pet hair and missing wash cloths were the only thing off. Everything else was perfect and we really enjoyed your stay.

Wonderful stay in Blairsville!!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Bear Ridge in Blairsville. The house was easy to get to, secluded, well-equipped, and had a great layout that allowed for an enjoyable stay for everyone. Our kids loved the basement - they both slept downstairs, had their own bathroom, and loved the family room setup. There was a nice selection of games and DVDs and a Roku TV that allowed them to access some of their favorites on Netflix when they woke up in the morning. All of the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The views from the back deck were amazing and we had perfect weather for the duration of our stay. An afternoon in the hot tub with a drink after spending the day walking around Blue Ridge was perfect. There are a lot of nearby hiking trails, restaurants, and shopping - easy drives to all of them. Highly recommend Jim's Smokin' Que and the Sunrise Grocery!! Thanks for a great stay - we'll definitely be back!

Wonderful and relaxing stay!

This home is perfect, and the mountain views are breathtaking. Everything was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The little touches like the welcome tray with a personalized note, information and goodies made it feel even more welcoming. Communication with the owners was excellent and checking in/out was very easy. We will definitely stay at ‘Bear Ridge’ cabin again if/when we are in the area.
