Welcome to the heart of AZ wine country. Private and well-appointed second story apt in large auxiliary structure on 3 acre property that includes a 1.6 acre vineyard, adjacent to the Verde River, peaceful country views from deck, kitchen, memory foam king bed in bedroom, full bath, 5 min to Old Town, 20 minutes to Sedona or Jerome. 1 hour to Prescott or Flagstaff, 2.5 hours to Grand Canyon.

Exceptionally clean, beautifully furnished. They thought of everything you could possibly need. Laundry facilities were a welcome feature. Didn’t do any actual cooking but there was a nice coffee bar that we used before heading out each day. The host was very responsive to any emails.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. Everything we could think of was in place. We knew the space to be small, but it is very well laid out and this was never an issue.The location just outside of town is also excellent, with tall green trees, meadows, cows, chickens, cicadas, etc. Couldn't be better.

Such a wonderful, peaceful, cozy cottage!

We absolutely loved this space! The patio has a beautiful view of the vineyard and farmland where their chickens roam freely, and you even see cows nearby, but you don’t smell the cows! lol The beds and pillows were very comfortable, which is huge for us. The perfect space in close to everything worth experiencing in Cottonwood. The owners were very responsive, would love to come back again!

Every detail necessary to make for a home away from home vacation was taken care of! The beds were comfortable, the view was amazing and there was nothing we could have asked for that wasn't there!

Amazingly quiet location for being so close to town. Super clean. Comfortable bed, plenty of towels, well-functioning washer and dryer. Would definitely re-book!

Great property in the country

Sweet owner. Easter stay for our son and family including our 2 year old granddaughter. The owner surprised her with a stuffed animal and Easter egg hunt :) Our granddaughter was able to feed chickens and a horse. Would definitely stay again!

Privacy near the city

This place was perfect. Comfortable. Well appointed. The special touches from the host make it feel like home like the coffee station, the welcome snacks, the bathing supplies, the glasses wipes, the iron, the laundry. Owners are responsive to communication and super helpful. I highly recommend staying at this cottage.

Cottonwood Getaway

This place was perfect for relaxing, but close enough to a city. The place was well stocked with everything we needed and more. As an animal lover, seeing chickens, peacocks, cows and a horse was wonderful. The bed was comfortable. The town had good restaurants and it was an easy base to Sedona, Jerome, the train. We had no negatives to report during our stay. We had quick responses to any questions. Highly recommend.

Wow, this place is such a gem! It's super quiet, but also really close to everything. It's cozy and comfortable, and the hosts have really thought of everything (Seriously. They remembered little details that most hosts don't consider.) We're definitely going back - it's great for a weekend getaway, or a longer stay. Highly, highly recommended.

The R&R we needed!

This place is conveniently located...its not too far from stores/restaurants/siteseeing, but its far enough away to be tranquil and peaceful. Just sitting on the deck was so fabulous. Things we loved about the place: the deck, the horse, the bull, the many cows in distance, neighbor's dogs (yellow house), the layout and furniture, Netflix etc, the STARS, full kitchen, even butter!, the grill, the second unexpected balcony, the shower (actual water pressure!), communication with host- fast friendly, helpful, this place was FULL of things you didn't even know you would need- they have been so thoughtful with every detail. We definitely plan on coming back again.

Weekend getaway

This property is adorable and well maintained. The owners put a lot of thought and details into the home. Its a short drive to stores and restaurants. If you plan to visit Sedona its about a 20 minute drive. Overall a good location.

Lovely view, perfect location

This was the ideal location for my adult son and me to stay. It is located between Jerome, Sedona, and Camp Verde making it easy to get to the sites and activities we wanted to see and do while staying here. Our rental was spotless! It has a wonderful layout for two people- plenty of space. It was well stocked and had a lot of extras I didn't expect, like a heated blanket, I particularly enjoyed the gas firepit with the lovely view of the stars, in the evening. It was quiet the entire time. We absolutely would stay here again!

Cottonwood stay

The property was wonderful. Just as advertised. It was clean, neat, and stocked with all the essentials for cooking and eating in. Located in a quiet country setting but close to town for quick access to shopping, restaurants, and highways for visiting local attractions. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking to visit Cottonwood, Jerome, Sedona, Flagstaff, or the Grand Canyon area. Very happy with our stay and look forward to a return trip soon.

Quaint little property close to town

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend getaway in Cottonwood and chose to stay at the Cabernet Cottage. This property is such a gem! It’s close to town but you really feel like you’re more out there. The surrounding properties have cows and peacocks. We ran into some chickens and cats on the owners property. Inside the cottage everything is well labeled and easy to find. The bed was quite comfortable for the 3 nights we stayed. The WiFi is not great so don’t rely on that. But we weren’t there for the WiFi so we were fine. While in Cottonwood we had breakfast at Black Bear Diner. Very slow kitchen but good food. We had dinner at Pizzeria Bocce- excellent!! We also ate and had drinks at Merkin Trattoria. Great views and the food was good too! We love Cottonwood and would definitely stay in the property again!
