It was a very clean property and the proprietor very helpful . The Friday night dinner was very good, took 11 people and not a problem to them

Beautiful stay with fantastic hospitality

We came for a quiet get away for my husbands birthday and found a lovely community with great people. Donna was so lovely from the first contact and made my husband's birthday super special, opening the restaurant for us and working with Chef Jackie to create a delicious menu. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was simply lovely. We will absolutely be back.

Relaxing quiet .

Very welcoming owners to their under cover eating area with our dog. Very accommodating by delivering our dinner to our cottage. Dressed in 1800’s era clothing to celebrate 175th year of settlement. Interesting display of old cameras and art works.

It wasn't very clean( table, bences, ) and not very accurate. It says kitchen but there is nowhere to cook (only microwave) so its not a kitchen. Also no sink ,we had to wash everything in the toilet

Regarding the kitchen description, our listing clearly states that the space includes a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, fridge, and basic preparation essentials, but it does not advertise a full cooking kitchen with stovetop or oven. There is a sink located within the bathroom, which is standard for this type of accommodation, and this is reflected in the photos provided in the listing. Very Good

Nice quiet area to just relax. No cooking facilities and no restaurant make getting food a little difficult. Restaurants and takeaways are in towns about 15 minutes away, so be prepared for that. Other than that, a really nice stay.

Beware!!After our 9 hour drive we were looking forward to arriving at this cozy cottage we booked. On arrival it turns out that this 'cozy 'cottage is stone cold and damp and that the second bed hasn't been made and there are no extra sheets or towels to be found to make it with either. Absolutely nothing is welcoming or cozy. I should have read the reviews better as the 'kitchen' is a bench with a microwave and electric kettle and the only water is in the bathroom faucet. No way to cook anything. The listing says sleeps 5 but how is beyond me, there are for example 2 bowls in the cupboard. The place was fairly clean but someone must have locked their tiny dog in the bathroom as the bathroom door had muddy dog paws on it still and there where human hairs(I assume...) in the vanity drawers. The tea and coffee facilities were lackluster with some granule coffee and one disintegrating Earl Grey with vanilla tea bag, 4 lemon and ginger tea bags and some very old and stained and dirty looking teabags of unknown provenance in a tin that wasn't all too clean on the inside either. I run an accommodation myself and I have the cabin a comfortable temperature on arrival, there's some flowers, fruit, Byron Bay biscuits. Granule and real coffee with a plunger, yoghurt and muesli, weetbix etc with real milk and all for less than half the price we paid for this sorry place.

We are genuinely shocked to receive a review written in this way. Constructive feedback is always welcome, but personal comparisons and harsh commentary say more about the approach than the accommodation itself. One day, we all receive criticism. The choice is whether to respond with kindness and fairness or with unnecessary negativity. We know this review is not a true reflection of what we have created or the experience shared by the vast majority of our guests.

Fantastic cosy little nook in quiet location

Donna was a great host. Very accommodating whenever we needed provisions. We were really impressed that she opened the restaurant just for us, when it was supposed to be closed for the holidays, paying attention to our dietary requirements as well. The food was absolutely delicious and the ambience was lovely. We were also allowed to bring our cat to stay in the cottage, and she LOVED the experience with us. The cellar had an excellent selection of wines which we enjoyed. We stayed 8 nights and could have easily stayed another week! We were able to find many good eateries and wineries for lunches and dinners within a 30 min drive. Highly recommend.

Lovely manager and setting. Cafe meal Friday night was great. Service was quirky but very friendly. Bed, shower and surrounds were good too. But kitchen/breakfast supplies were poor. For example there were 10 forks, 2 knives and one spoon??? And our breakfast supplied was bread, butter and jam, hardly enough for one person for one day, let alone two people for two days. The kitchen desperately needs a stove, sink and dishwashing materials.

Cabin was clean and cute. Couldnt wash dishes no dish liquid and only bathroom sink. Nice carob balls left for us. Was a bit pricey for what it was. Take your own milk cause theres wont last. Never found the bbq so bring an electric pan or grill other wise its microwave only.

Photos on Stayz dont match what you get

Very disappointing. Should have rang and asked about all the photos on Stayz website. Only got a tiny room not clean on outside(spiderwebs etc) Meant to sleep 5 but could only just squeeze 4...Just!!!
