We had a wonderful stay at Moeraki Station. It was such a beautiful experience for us. Jane, the hostess, at all times was very quick with communicating with us and was very proactive and thoughtful throughout our stay. The house is warm and inviting. We came on a cold, windy evening and there was plenty of wood and matchsticks for our fireplace in the living room. Our kids loved watching the fire and it nicely heated the whole house. The house was clean and well considered with everything you needed to feel at home. The place is secluded and you have a magnificent view of the rolling hills and mountains all around you. You are woken in the morning by the sheeps and cows which complete your New Zealand experience. We had hoped to do lots of star gazing given that it is within the dark sky reserve unfortunately on the day we were there it was very cloudy. Jane however was still very thoughtful and suggested a large big paddock within the farm that we could go to to ensure ultimate darkness. Thank you, Jane for your hospitality!
We loved every moment!
The house was perfect for our family and very cosy/comfy.

* The location ... yes it was an adventure to get there but so worth it !!
The stay and the location of the house was beautiful. The pictures cannot capture the true beauty. The host was great , never had any issues in our 4 day stay. Love to be back.
We really enjoyed our stay at Hinakura. The accommodation is excellent and the views from the property are really good.

Why they chose this property
Moeraki is a stunning farm, it has great farm tracks for walking and mountain biking & also is a great place to just sit back and relax. We think it’s great that guests come out to Moeraki and enjoy it as much as we do!
