The house was very comfortable and clean . I don't think it was prepared for a six day stay . We had to buy dish washers , toilet paper and other toiletries. We had difficulties finding the property. It did not state that you could only excess the property from a long ramp . My husband is disabled so it was very hard on him . I had to do six runs from car to the house to bring everything in . A trolley would have helped . The BBQ was not usable. This property would be great for a young family but not for elderly with mobility difficulties. I will give the house 9 out of ten . But outside for us was not usable.

We enjoyed our stay here at Lakes Edge. It was super close to the wedding we were attending as well as being in such a picturesque neighbourhood.It had everything we needed, except child specific amenities that would have been helpful. The doors are also difficult to lock/unlock.

Nice House, good size, clean and well appointed. Would be nice if there was an outdoor seating area (not just the veranda) but overall a good place to stay if you are visiting Lakes Entrance.

We loved the homely little house. Loved the bush view. Great for the dog, although the yard wasn’t secure although it wasn’t a huge issue

Place was clean and tidy though it would have been easier if the address given was correct. It is Go

Need to just be careful of the fences if you have little dogs as little dogs can get through gaps and escape. But the house was superb and relaxing with everything you need.

Very quiet spot surrounded by bush. A little hard to find as number of property not displayed clear

OK for people without kids as nowhere for them to play. The place had a nice feel but could do with a bit of a clean up on the outside as in cobwebs, weeding .etc. Spa bath gt and bed comfortable. Inside clean . Carpet stained in areas. Generally comfortable but would not recommend or stay again.

It was just right for us

Efficient Check-in. Place is quiet and comfortable with easy access. We couldn’t work the oven on the last night so instructions would be good but turning it on didn’t work. Dishwasher wasn’t balanced properly but was quickly fixed as soon as we reported it. We will book it again because it was perfect for there’s single women (one very elderly + elderly dog.

The house is spacious and very clean and the neighbours are lovely.It's in a quiet area and I did not find it inconvenient being a 5 minute trip to town. I would have liked some decent wine glasses and I also think perhaps a mud map would help, Google maps sends you off in a completely different location.

Bigger sign on the property would make it easier to find. A sensor light underneath the walkway for night time would be of benefit as well as a light over the dining table. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived, we found the house was nice. however, the biggest issue was the smell of the kitchen/living room to the point that we would only spend our time in the bedroom or outside as the smell was horrendous. We tried airing out the place however this was not enough. Furthermore, there was never enough hot water for the two of us to have showers. If these things were improved we would give it a 5 star.

Heads UP!!

It was a nice quiet location. Sadly, my Husband was bit from one of Two Dogs on the property. Better SIGNS for Guard Dogs needed, ASAP. Lights @ night is a must as a Tall person must duck down under deck which is where the Guard Dog signs are. Disliked the lack of privacy as no window covering for the kitchen. One curtain rod fell off the sliding glass door and hit me on shoulder. Sadly, zero reply back from property Manager regarding this. Bonus, the Spa was lovely. The Dogs could be secured on the front deck, but no yard for toilet @ night. So walked up onto the road for this. Sadly not a Dog Friendly Town all in all.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was in a quiet location situated at the rear of a twin dwelling property. The house was in very good condition and was clean, the layout of the home was excellent with a large central benchtop and plenty of cupboard space for any cooking equiptment you bring with you.The recliner chairs were nice and comfy and the coonara heater adds a nice touch, however the Mitsubishi inverter in the main room does a great job. There are Mitsubishi air con/heaters in 2 of the bedrooms which makes it a standout in the summer or winter weather.For dogs, mine being an outside dog that only comes in at night I found that the lack of a secure yard was a setback and it's hard to pick up the poop among the sticks and leaves.Overall I loved this home especially for the daily price but for the reason of my dogs needs(a yard) 4 weeks was probably a little long.Only negative was the guard dogs in the front home that took an insyant disliking to my GSD and therefore going in an out was a hurdle.Definitely recommend.
