Spring Break Vacation

We loved our rental. The location was perfect for our get away. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. The house was very spacious so we had plenty of room to stretch out. We loved the hot tub and the best part was that we didn’t have to share it with anyone. I look forward to our next stay.

Spring Break at Hilltop Marietta

We spent 4 wonderful days at this property and it was great. The house is fully loaded with everything that anyone could ever need. The kitchen has plenty of cookware and the bedrooms are spacious and clean. There was even a speaker to connect to your smartphone for your entertainment. We loved the hot tub and the pool table. There is a full size washer and dryer available so you won’t have to take any dirty clothes home. The bathrooms come with complementary toiletries but we brought our own to use. There are even bathrobes included for use if you like. We used them when we used the hot tub. The location of the house was beautiful and green with trees and flowers everywhere. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt secure and safe during our stay. There is plenty of room inside and outside for everyone to stretch out. I can’t say enough about this property but I do know that we will be using it again in the future.

Wedding Weekend!!

The check in process was easy even though it was still being cleaned at our arrival, 10 minutes early!! The property has been renovated and some parts still need some improvements! It definitely had everything you needed to cook, clean, and sleep. We are outside people so that being said it was pretty bad!! Cigarette buts all over, the hot tub was unusable due to the dirt on the jets and covers being off( definitely a sanitary issue!!) Trash was overflowing and the smell would take you breath away!! Called owner, never came to get it! The yard would be beautiful with a maintenance program in place! It has definitely been neglected!! On the plus side a great LOCATION!! One of the reasons we chose it!! But for the price it should have been close to perfect!!

Pamela, It’s so painful when people try to bring you down despite how much you try to satisfy them. How can you write this as a review of this wonderful house? We’re sorry your stay fell short of expectations. - Cigarette butts where? In your bedrooms or around the hallway! I'm not sure where you saw these, we have not had any issues with cigarette butts. - The reason I didn’t take the trash out on the day you arrived was that it wasn’t the trash day for my street. I made sure I came the following morning after a 16-hour shift just to make sure I made your stay comfortable. - How can you check in 10 minutes early without communicating with me to verify it was ok? - We had a conversation I have proof and a recording to prove it. Please try as much as possible not to bring people's business down. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. Blessing

Disappointment

The arrival at the house was a disappointment. The house needs some work outside. It wasn't much different inside. Faded glory. The kitchen was not clean. The doors of the kitchen cabinets were hanging loose here and there and part of the countertop was loose. De windows were not clean. There was not enough cutlery We didn't want to use the pans. We bought a few new pans to use but we had to clean the filter in the extractor hood first. The barbeque outside was very dirty, so we didn’t use that. A leg of 1 dining room chair was broken. The cushions of the garden chairs were outside and partly on the ground. A chair leg was loose on 1 armchair in the living room. The jacuzzi smelled like the pool cover. Even after showering, your skin smelled of it. 2 members of our party used the jacuzzi only once. The bedrooms and bathrooms were almost okay. The pedal bins were rusty and the curtain rod in the master bedroom fell down when closing the curtains because there was no end stop on it. The space in the house however was very nice. The pool table and smart TVs were nice too. We stayed with 5 persons (2 families) to attend a wedding in Marietta. Of course we could have informed the owner immediately, but we did not do that because we did not have the illusion that the complaints could be resolved without much inconvenience. We just made the best of it. But we will never rent this house again.

Good night's sleep

The house is pretty much as shown, except for the Hot tub. Only one set of jets worked, and they sprayed out of the tub. It was ok for me, because my hubby does not like them, and I just sat in the hot water. We enjoyed the ping pong/pool table and the beds and pillows were great. Also the neighborhood was great, I felt safe running! It was also incredibly quiet there. We slept in most days! Very comfortable. Also upon arrival there was a problem with one of the vanity sinks and Blessings was there to greet us and explain the issue, and had someone there right away to take care of it. Very nice. Thx.

Amazing Vacation Rental

The pictures represent exactly what you get with this beautiful vacation rental. The outside views of the backyard are absolutely breathtaking, though it is not a yard to play in. There is a gazebo to sit and chat and/or eat, lots of small plants and flowers and the yard is set up on a steep hill. (Relax: There are steps.) Our family loved the view, but we enjoyed the indoors even more. Here are our pros and cons: Pros: -pictures match the house -bedrooms are clean, spacious, beautiful, and comfortable -huge kitchen equipped with cooking essentials such as pots and pans, salt, pepper, other spices, cooking oil... -fridge equipped with several bottles of cold water (excellent upon arrival-- we were so thirsty from the trip) -nice areas to sit outside around the house -television with Netflix, Disney, Hulu (already logged in) -friendly landlord -beautiful neighborhood (still felt secluded and private) -nice game room with pool table and ping pong (& fireplace) -large dining table that comfortably seats a family of 8 -washer and dryer WITH detergent and dryer sheets -options to use dishes or paper products provided Cons: -super steep driveway (we just adjusted so nothing major here) -pool table sticks missing white tips so difficult to play -jacuzzi was beautiful but didn't look very clean inside (NO cigarette buds, just maybe needs routine cleaning) -people signed into Netflix with very offensive names (wish those had been deleted) Bottom line: We would definitely return to this vacation rental. I can tell that the owner takes pride in her home and we appreciated the little extras like the water bottles, wine, dish washing and clothing detergents, the game room (even though we wish the pool table sticks would be replaced), and pretty much everything else. Great vacation!! Final note: I'm a bit of a germaphobe, so I always take wipes, but I forgot my spray. I was quite happy to see that there were Lysol wipes, Microban, Lysol, and paper products in the kitchen. We even got to wash our clothes with the detergent provided.

Fantastic Location!!!!

We had such a nice retreat after our team retreated for rest after our busy conference schedule. This place was gorgeous and we would love to come again next year!

Awesome stay!

The place is beautiful just as the pictures show. I was pleasantly surprised at how many items there were offered for us to use. I felt very much taken care of. My husband's only comment was that the grill could be tidied up a little and then out in the garage al it stays clean and protected. And no he didn’t grill anything too short of a stay to buy groceries. I think he was a little jealous at all the feminine touches in the house lol. We loved it all! Thank you and will definitely book again.
