We stayed in March (cabin #16) when nighttime temps dropped near freezing. The heater worked well, but the floors were drafty, warped, and uncomfortable—bring indoor shoes, and consider kids who play on the floor. The plumbing is outdated (cabins date to the 1970s). We needed a plunger several times, and the tub leaked and wouldn’t drain unless you held the mechanism down. Hot water was plentiful but very hot—supervise children. The kitchen is minimally stocked, and there weren’t enough paper towels or toilet paper for our family of four during a 3-night stay. The cabin layout is well-designed, and the surrounding area is beautiful. It’s conveniently located near Hochatown and Beavers Bend, but not in the most congested areas. However, it’s close to the highway, so we could hear trucks at night.
It was really good. The cabin was neat a clean and the communication with manager was good and able to reach the property without any issue as the direction and address given was clear and perfect. Total the stay was good and enjoyed my stay.
Absolutely loved the cabin it was very nice loved that it was surrounded by wood and a fishing pond. The pictures on VRBO dont give it justice the inside is very antiquish with a rock fireplace.
The cabin was great for the time that we stayed there. Had we been staying longer, I would have opted for a bigger space. It sits right off the highway, so you could hear all the traffic going by. Other than that it was great for the 3 nights we stayed there.
We were offered an upgraded cabin when I discovered the stove didn’t work. During a burn ban it’s a big deal to be able to cook. Communication with property management was amazing!
Overall worth the value. Great location. Cabin was laid out nicely for a couple or family with a few small kids. The pictures don’t do it justice.
With a few minor additions would be WELL worth the value, like having enough units with more than two weak steak knives, updated TV and some other minor things.
There were knives with no handles in the drawer, not to mention only one steak knife. So yes there were open blades just laying around. The main large butcher knife that was there is so dull it wouldn't even cut through a tomato. The stove element had to be propped up with a butter knife because the heating element was hanging into the stove. The shower was stopped up, I tried to plunge it but it still just slowly drains. There are big gaps in the blinds where it looks like a dog tore an 8 inch square out, and the blinds are the 5 ones so they can be very easily replaced. Spend a couple of dollars and put a few more ice trays in the refrigerator rather than one.Just constructive criticism here.

floors were dirty. had not been swept. not enough towels and wash cloths.
The cabin is very cute and easy to get to! The cabin could of been cleaner! There was empty water bottles against the wall between bunk bed and wall. The floor wasn’t very clean! There was just several things that could of been cleaner!

Needs better picture of location
The cabin was beautiful and roomy for me and my family, but we could not see where it was located on the map so we went off the pictures. We did not like the fact that it was by the highway bc this was supposed to be a getaway from work and it was stressful to hear the logging trucks all hours of the day and night. The service was awesome just location was a nightmare. If I am to book a cabin from the same place again I will want the one furthest from the road. My boyfriend and I could not sleep bc the bed and pillows was too hard and it didn’t help that the logging trucks was shaking the cabin. The most unstressful thing was the fireflies we saw. That was awesome to see so many in one spot.

Nice location, but cabin needs renovation
I don’t normally post reviews on any social medium. However, my post here is only solely for the intention to help, not hurt the cabin owners.
Although all of the staff my wife and I dealt with were very attentive and friendly, the conditions of the cabin itself was simply not acceptable.
I will not go into details but the entire cabin is in sorely need of a makeover. (I.e. bathroom, bedrooms, and kitchen). But the most offensive of the experience was the cigarette/marijuana smells and muddiness behind the toilet.
We would love to give your cabins another try for you have an ideal location for them. But please take the suggestion of renovating and/or updating your cabins under serious consideration.
