We traveled with 2 teens and we all had our private rooms and bathrooms. The view every morning waking up was beautiful. (Made me want to get up early everyday ) The A/C was nice because we could have as cool as each individual wanted. They owners were easy to communicate with.

We loved our stay at the Water's Edge. Everything from booking, transportation with Monique, and our stay at the home was easy and convenient. The true highlight of this home is the ocean views and amazing outdoor living space. The house has tons of charm and plenty of room for everyone to relax.

Perfection..This place was perfect.

It was perfect. I spent 4 days in Atlantis with the wife and kids before I checked in, and this was the much needed vacation that I wanted. Get up, go to the pool outside, snorkel for hours on end at the walk out reef you have connecting this property, and then get back in the pool. The kitchen is stocked perfect for any cooking needs, the beds are comfortable, the AC is GREAT. It is at the very East end of the island, so make sure you stock up on groceries before you go, unless you rent a car or want to pay 40 to and 40 from a restaurant. You cant really walk anywhere from it, because there are NO sidewalks and there are dogs running around. We were told if we did walk, to take a big stick to hit the dogs with if they got close. We never walked anywhere. We stopped at Solomon's Fresh Market on the way to the property from Atlantis and that had to be one of the BEST grocery stores I have ever shopped at in my life. The NY strips we prime meat..you could cut with a fork. The ground beef for the spaghetti tasted NOTHING like what we can get in the USA, it was like eating a steak. And the sliced turkey we got was one of the best tasting turkey sandwiches I ever had in my life. This place has every item you could need on a vacation. Our entire family enjoyed it. If you go and you dont rent a car, hire Monique with TNT Taxi. She is the best. And if you want to rent a boat, Capt Carl Blades was one of the best boat charters we have ever had at the Bahamas. This is the place to be

Dream Vacation

The beautiful villa comes with snorkels, kayaks and fishing rods, which are perfect to enjoy the ocean! The home is roomy and set up with multiple seating areas, indoor and outdoor. I enjoyed that we were away from the crowds, but yet close to activities too.

Simply Glorious

We had just over a week at Water's Edge in Apr 25. We took our grown up children and our only grandchild (6yo) for a celebration for my husband's 60th birthday. The house is brilliantly well equipped inside and for the outdoors, has everything you might need, including comfy beds and all of it is good quality. The location was superb for us, a little away from the bustle of Nassau but close enough for it to feel easy to just 'pop in'. The sea immediately outside the walls was such a bonus, and although the pool was lovely, everyone spent more time with the snorkels and kayaks in the sea - we saw manta rays just passing by. Communication with the on-island team, Marsha and Ritchie, was excellent, they really cared about us having a good time and got an engineer out the following day when the oven stopped working. We would also highly recommend Captain Carl to hire a boat and see the swimming pigs and turtles and lunch in a beach bar on Love Island. We'd love to go back one day.

Wonderful Bahamas Vacation Home

The ocean is literally steps from the living room. We had a perfect week of weather in the high 70s and low 80s. The property is very convenient to Paradise Island, shopping, golf and about any excursion launching point. An easy 10 to 15 minute drive.Our party of 5 - my wife and I, 22 year old son and 16 and 10 year old daughter's had plenty of space and you just can't beat the view from the back pool deck.Amazing!!

We loved the access to the ocean and the beautiful home. It was very comfortable and we truly felt it was a getaway. We will never forget. Communication with the host was amazing and always prompt.

Good, but inconsistent

Pros:-Responsive owner with prompt communication-Driver and property manager-View, sunrise, privacy Cons:-Pool was freezing cold-Ocean access from property was difficult over sharp coral. Was too dangerous for kids to use. -The "private beach" next door was quite run down between what appeared to be vacant propertiesI was overall disappointed because the pool and ocean access were the reason I booked this house. I have smaller kids, and this pool offered an alternative from chasing them around a crowded water park. But the pool temperature was so cold, we didn't use it and ended up paying for a waterpark day pass so our kids could go swim. The ocean access was treacherous. I do not see how so many reviewers say they swam down there. With even the least bit of waves (which we had the whole time) it's dangerous getting in and out as the waves crash against the coral. There were many reviews that mentioned all that there was to do between the pool and ocean access. My family's experience was not consistent with those reviews and left me questioning their authenticity. Overall, I felt a lack of transparency from what I experienced vs. what was presented in the description/photos/reviews. I recommend that the host be more up front that the pool temperature may not be useable in certain seasons, that the ocean access is more difficult than advertised and provide updated photos of the "private beach" which shows its true condition and surroundings.

Amazing View!

We had an amazing time with our family at Waters Edge Villa! The views are spectacular, the villa was spacious and well appointed. It had everything we needed for our stay in Nassau. Mark, the host was fantastic in communicating and answering all of our questions. Monique was awesome transporting us to wherever we needed to go. Our only wish was to stay longer! Thank you for the memories until next time!

An amazing experience!!!

We booked six nights at this villa for a friends 60th birthday (four couples) and we all had an amazing time!! What helped with the options of this villa was that all four rooms had queen beds (very comfortable beds I will add)- Mark was so helpful and quick to respond to questions and suggestions! My favorite activity was going right out the back gate to snorkel, kayak or just swim! The water of course is beautiful as is the amazing view, sunrises and sunsets! The guys enjoyed golf for a few rounds while the gals enjoyed the beautiful oceanside pool. We were close to grocery stores and restaurants which was great. We ate out but definitely cooked in because why would you want to leave this place!! Monique (our personal taxi) was so friendly and helpful and available every time we needed her. Mark, thank you for sharing your beautiful home!! We will surely be back- we all have birthdays!!!:))

Relaxing get away

The property was everything we hoped for and Mark, Marsha, and Monique were all responsive and helpful. The pool and ocean are where we spent most of our time, including taking in beautiful sunrises and the super moon. The kitchen was well set up for making all our meals. Our only disappointment was that hurricane Ernesto left the ocean choppy for most of our stay.

Great for large families that love the ocean!

Our stay at Watersedge was amazing! The place was spotless and had a fantastic view of the ocean 🐬. The pool was clean and relaxing. The rooms were great too. Plenty of space to spread out our group of 7. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the ocean everyday. There really is no place quite like this one!

Best Girls Trip

Our stay at Water's Edge was absolute perfection. The house and location were everything we wanted. It felt safe and secluded. We spent a whole day at the house in the pool and snorkeling in the ocean. Being able to step directly into the ocean from the patio was so much fun. And waking up to a sunrise over the water was so beautiful. Mark was very communicative and helpful for planning our trip. HIGHLY recommend Monique and Big Mama for all your transportation needs. We can't wait to come back to the Bahamas and stay at Waters Edge!

Truly Paradise!

Waters Edge was a perfect getaway for our family of 8. We had plenty of space in the house and it had everything we needed. The beach chairs and cooler were a plus to have! The outdoor patio and pool were amazing, spent many mornings and nights taking in the stunning views. Highly recommend Chef Everton and Monique the taxi driver. You can't go wrong with staying at Waters Edge.

After working in the Bahamas on a contract we fell in love with Nassau. We chose Water's Edge after an extensive search as we were looking for a traditional Bahamian home with modern amenities directly on the ocean with a private freshwater pool.

Nassau teems with Bahamian and British flavors. The capital of The Bahamas boasts miles of spectacular beaches and stretches of vivid coral reefs perfect for snorkeling. Dance to calypso music, savor fried crab, or play dominos with locals in the diverse city. Don't leave without also learning about the country's interesting past. Shop, dine, and sightsee, particularly along busy Bay Street, or if you're a James Bond fan, visit the many movie sites. The town retains many of its characteristic pastel-colored British colonial buildings, including the pink-hued Government House. Visit during the famed Junkanoo Festival (Christmas and New Year, also once in the Summer) to experience a high-energy parade of spectacularly costumed dancers.

We knew as soon we walked out of the back patio doors and experienced that amazing view that Water's Edge was a unique and wonderful place. The private pool is a fabulous thing to be used throughout the year. We fell in love with the sunrises (something to behold), the Abaco pine beams in the cathedral-ceilinged, living room, the hummingbirds that visit and the ocean breeze that cools the home throughout the year.

We can also offer catering (meals and chef services) and massage services. Plus, Monique, our taxi person, can provide all group transport.

Since the virus, we have instituted a more rigorous cleaning and disinfecting regime to remove contaminants from a surface and to kill pathogens; especially high-touch surfaces. These include doorknobs, table surfaces, Hard dining chairs (seat, back, and arms), kitchen counters, bathroom counters, faucets and knobs, toilets (seat and handle), light switches, TV remote controls, and game controllers
