Wonderful Bahamas Vacation Home

The ocean is literally steps from the living room. We had a perfect week of weather in the high 70s and low 80s. The property is very convenient to Paradise Island, shopping, golf and about any excursion launching point. An easy 10 to 15 minute drive.Our party of 5 - my wife and I, 22 year old son and 16 and 10 year old daughter's had plenty of space and you just can't beat the view from the back pool deck.Amazing!!

Amazing View!

We had an amazing time with our family at Waters Edge Villa! The views are spectacular, the villa was spacious and well appointed. It had everything we needed for our stay in Nassau. Mark, the host was fantastic in communicating and answering all of our questions. Monique was awesome transporting us to wherever we needed to go. Our only wish was to stay longer! Great for large families that love the ocean!

Our stay at Watersedge was amazing! The place was spotless and had a fantastic view of the ocean 🐬. The pool was clean and relaxing. The rooms were great too. Plenty of space to spread out our group of 7. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the ocean everyday. There really is no place quite like this one!

Relaxing get away

The property was everything we hoped for and Mark, Marsha, and Monique were all responsive and helpful. The pool and ocean are where we spent most of our time, including taking in beautiful sunrises and the super moon. The kitchen was well set up for making all our meals. Our only disappointment was that hurricane Ernesto left the ocean choppy for most of our stay.

Great Place for a Group

We had a big group of 8 stay at Watersedge for four nights, and it was the perfect size for us. Mark was very helpful through the check in process and provided great recommendations to other services, including a taxi and private boat tour. These reccommendations were fantastic. Overall, the house was good value for the price.

Water's edge was clean, well decorated and well stocked with just about everything you would need to enjoy a relaxing time. It's the perfect place to bring anyone from children to adult friends. Joe the driver was always on time and pleasure to talk with as we commuted back and forth. Well worth the money and even better if you could split the cost with friends.

Amazing Vacation with Friends!

Water's Edge was the perfect location for a 40th birthday celebration! We had six adults and the house was comfortable and spacious. The view out to the water is just unbelievable! Mark was very quick to respond to every question. Monique and her daughter were able to transport us to planned activities as well as last minute requests. Chef Everton cooked for us on our last night and it was such a treat. We all hope to be back one day soon!

Paradise Found

We just returned from 7 night stay at Water's Edge. What a lovely property! After busy day trips around Nassau, it was such a treat to come back to Water's Edge and relax in the backyard by the pool. The sunsets are amazing! The kids loved playing in the backyard and swimming. The house is conveniently located to all that Nassau has to offer. Thank you to The Cabrelli family for sharing your home with us. We sure hope to be back.

The Waters Edge is a beautiful property outfitted with everything you need for a wonderful stay. Mark, the owner, was very responsive even before we left. Marsha, the property manager, was warm, welcoming and helpful. She didn’t even balk when we messed up and told her the lights weren’t working but it was just that the lamp wasn’t plugged in! Joe, the recommended driver was reliable and friendly and made it easy to get around. We can’t say enough about how great it was. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back!

Yes, we agree longer next time and we all agree that Yes...we will be back!!! Your Villa is so incredibly situated overlooking the sea, with the beautiful Bahamian pastel and white colored house, dark woodwork on the interior, against the stylish white walls, vaulted ceilings, and a view out every window, textiles and comfy sofas and seating areas, and beautiful architectural “charms” everywhere you look, to the gorgeous chandelier and antique hutches, and of course all of the items for cooking, and lounging, swimming and delightfully sleeping you could ever need! The hospitality and great vibes are felt in your beautiful villa, thank you for sharing with us! We’ll be back!!!

First off I would like to thank Mark and his family for the assistance and understanding leading up to this trip. We had quite a few hurdles that had nothing to do with them but they were so kind and understanding through all of it. Every hurdle was absolutely worth it to get to this property! Pictures do not do this place justice, it’s a hidden gem that I want to keep hidden all to myself. Marsha is an additional gem that words cannot describe, she’s so sweet and kind and hospitable and an AMAZING cook. I am still having dreams about her food. This was the ultimate recharge and relax trip with just enough excitement to entertain three teenagers. Mark and Marsha we will be back, you can count on it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Superb Bahamas location

Not our first trip to Waters Edge but one of the best ever. The owners have done a great job in re-configuring the ocean-side patio after the damage done by the hurricane last year. The new sea wall and bar area are a great addition and the steps down to the ocean make swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear water a breeze. Add a great ocean view from the pool and you have a total package that takes full advantage of the breathtaking views (I would recommend getting up early at least once to watch the sunrise). The house interior is kept in pristine condition and the modern kitchen is large enough for too many cooks!! We were a party of six adults and there was plenty of room for us all to have some personal space if we wanted it. Joe (the taxi driver) was wonderful, as usual, and I'd recommend his service if you want to get around the island without the hassle of driving (on the left!). All in all, we had a wonderful vacation at Waters Edge, thanks to the Cabrellis for making it so easy for us and we can't wait to go back.

Stunning Villa on Nassau, Bahamas

Our stay at Water's edge Bahamas was spectacular. Everything was as stated in it's description. The house was more than comfortable for our group which consisted of two families. We had 4 adults and 3 adult children, who ranged in ages from 16 to 20 yrs old. There was plenty to do at the house. Snorkel off the back porch, tube in the ocean, swim in the pool, etc. We made a few trips to Paradise Island for boat rides, beach days, and dinner. Very easy to get around the Island. Shopping was great. Stores were surprisingly stocked with everything you could need. Even gluten free items. We also brought a cooler full of frozen foods along with a suitcase of dry goods. Customs didn't even raise an eyebrow. We went to get fresh fish at the dock as suggested by the owners, it was delicious! The kitchen was well stocked. It even had a refrigerator that had an ice maker! We would definitely come back to this Villa.

Why they chose this property

After working in the Bahamas on a contract we fell in love with Nassau. We chose Water's Edge after an extensive search as we were looking for a traditional Bahamian home with modern amenities directly on the ocean with a private freshwater pool.

Nassau teems with Bahamian and British flavors. The capital of The Bahamas boasts miles of spectacular beaches and stretches of vivid coral reefs perfect for snorkeling. Dance to calypso music, savor fried crab, or play dominos with locals in the diverse city. Don't leave without also learning about the country's interesting past. Shop, dine, and sightsee, particularly along busy Bay Street, or if you're a James Bond fan, visit the many movie sites. The town retains many of its characteristic pastel-colored British colonial buildings, including the pink-hued Government House. Visit during the famed Junkanoo Festival (Christmas and New Year, also once in the Summer) to experience a high-energy parade of spectacularly costumed dancers.

What makes this property unique

We knew as soon we walked out of the back patio doors and experienced that amazing view that Water's Edge was a unique and wonderful place. The private pool is a fabulous thing to be used throughout the year. We fell in love with the sunrises (something to behold), the Abaco pine beams in the cathedral-ceilinged, living room, the hummingbirds that visit and the ocean breeze that cools the home throughout the year.

We can also offer catering (meals and chef services) and massage services. Plus, Monique, our taxi person, can provide all group transport.

Since the virus, we have instituted a more rigorous cleaning and disinfecting regime to remove contaminants from a surface and to kill pathogens; especially high-touch surfaces. These include doorknobs, table surfaces, Hard dining chairs (seat, back, and arms), kitchen counters, bathroom counters, faucets and knobs, toilets (seat and handle), light switches, TV remote controls, and game controllers
