The host is extremely accommodating. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The play area was a big hit with our grand kids. And it is peaceful, well taken care of, and our whole family was able to sit down at the table for meals and all sit on the patio to enjoy the sunset. Unbelievable views of the mountains and the valley below. This was our second time to stay here and we will definitely stay again if possible.

Great Stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The home was outfitted with great care, and we were pleasantly surprised with the stocked kitchen, and games/toys in the kids' room. Fantastic views and a very welcoming place to use as our home base to see family and explore the area.

Great stay

We traveled almost the entire state of AZ and this home was a great central location. Plenty of room inside and out and everything we needed. Clean, cozy, quiet and comfortable! The lane to the home is rough terrain so trucks and SUVs will fare better than small cars. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Awesome Stay

Wonderful home and excellent views

It was not only a beautiful, well maintained home, it had a fully stocked kitchen for us to cook family meals. The patio was breath taking and the kids enjoyed the swings and merry-go-round. Loved the big kitchen table for meals and playing games. It was an overall wonderful stay.

Southwest charm

Came up for a softball tournament in Prescott. Proximity to fields was not a problem but please note the road to the property is unpaved for .7 miles. There are many dips and holes. I'm not sure I would attempt in a sedan type vehicle. We came in an suv and it added to our adventure. The drive is worth it. It's a beautiful property and we especially enjoyed sitting on the covered porch.

Great Vacation

We had a great time staying here. Loved the location out on our own. Owners seem to think of everything for the stay and it was well stocked. My wife had a broken ankle so we could not use the master bedroom bed, It is so tall.... But there were plenty of other options. Thank you for letting us stay at your house.

Beautiful Home with Breath-taking Views

We traveled to Prescott for a quiet retreat. This home was an excellent choice. The views were more than outstanding. We saw the evening stars. We did not hear any sounds from the freeway or airport.The home is decorated "Arizona Western" with lots of beautiful wood trim, tile and wood floors. The home was clean and had everything we needed included a fully socked kitchen and a Viking stove. The big screen TV had streaming access. The internet was 5G and fast. Each bedroom has a large TV. We sat on the deck in the sunshine most days. It allowed us to read and enjoy life.We drove to Prescott for dinner at some of their fun restaurants.I strongly recommend this home.

Would stay again and recommend

The house was very clean and well stocked with just about anything and everything you need. The outdoor covered porch area was our favorite spot with comfortable furniture and a great view. We saw a family of deer, quail, rabbits and road runners. The road to get there was an adventure, I recommend all-wheel or 4-wheel drive. We would stay here again and recommend to others.

Great place to stay

The place was great. The road there is not for the faint of heart, but the porch is worth the drive. The place has a southwest feel and a view to match. The owners were very supportive and helped out whenever they could. We had 3 couples staying and the place was built for a good time. With the BBQ and large porch, many nights were spent enjoying the weather and company. 7/5 will stay here again

Beautiful home and breathtaking views. Make sure you get groceries before you get there. The road to the house is not for the faint of heart. Do not recommend driving a car. My biggest concern with the house was the kitchen. While it had a gorgeous Viking stove, the smell of gas was scary. We had to leave windows open and fans on. When I contacted the owner, they were not concerned with it and told me it was normal. We were too afraid to use the stove so we had to cook everything on the grill. The grill was filthy and did not light with with the push button. We had to lift up the grates and light it that way.

Great house on the hill

Got out of PHX heat to enjoy a vacation with friends . This house was absolutely perfect , we spent most our time on the extended patio. Great layout of the land , peaceful and quiet . The house was amazing and gave a nice home feeling . Kitchen is huge and provides us a lot of room for prepping . The bedrooms were extremely comfortable, the high bed was amazing and very comfortable. Gary was very responsive and would def come back in the winter. The road up to the house is rocky but doable . Great weekend getaway house to enjoy nature and quietness !!

Not what I expected

Didn’t have heat. Did not have use of gas grill. Big hole in gas hose. Loose board in bedroom door way. Trip hazard. As well as two open knot holes in floor. (Heels or kids foot). Not very clean. Counters floors. Junk around house. Pics are deceiving

Comfy beds

Kitchen is amazing and the beds are comfortable. The views are beautiful from every room. However the place needs a good spring cleaning. Cobwebs everywhere. Dusty artificial flowers. Ants on the couch and we killed at least 10 spiders inside. There is a kegerator there but it’s not usable. No blowdryer. We lost power to part of the house and it took an hour for the host to contact us after we reached out to the two different contact numbers we had and through vrbo. My daughter was excited to play on the swings but when we read the welcome book they are not suitable for a child over 5. The kids loved the horseshoe pit and the rest of the playground.

True Arizona Experience

Secluded stay

Secluded stay, very well kept and great get away. Western style home with a great view. If you want to stay indoors and hang out in the patio, this is the place for you.

The Big Valley!

When we booked this property, we fondly called it "The Big Valley"! How often do you get the chance to spend a couple nights on a property with 20 acres? It was a great experience for us to evaluate if the rural lifestyle was a fit for us. A very quiet location, wonderful views, enjoyed sitting on the expansive deck looking at the hills with the afternoon breeze coming in. The property has the tallest Master Bed we have ever seen, and the view from the Master ensuite is incredible for evening city lights. Thank you Gary and Rose for opening your home to us!

This place is true to the pictures. Gorgeous views, Spent most of our time in the outside porch. Large Kitchen for all the cooks. Us sisters 3, took our mother out to see our brother who lives close by, so it was a perfect location for us. Not far for a day trip to Sedona. Excellent

Views with a breeze in a quiet location

We so appreciated the quiet location of this 20-acre property situated on a hill off the main road with fabulous unobstructed views and the breeze to cool off on the patio! We admired the Southwest architecture of the house and the unique touches the Owners built into each room! The kitchen is well equipped & the view while loading the dishwasher is great! There are dining options indoors and out! The living room sofa reclines at each end to relax. The Master bed was comfortable and steps were provided. The walk-in shower was especially appreciated! The A/C works great which was appreciated given that there were record high temperatures in AZ during our trip, but it was 12 degrees hotter at home so we enjoyed cooling off. The Internet worked at all times, which was important to us. We enjoyed exploring the property with our sheltie dog. The Owners were accessible and very helpful at all times, and we enjoyed communicating with them. We highly recommend this property!
