Luxury living just got better. 7000 square feet. High ceilings. Lots of windows. Enjoy 1 acre on Lake Dalrymple surrounded by beautiful nature and lots of privacy. Just 1.5 hrs north of Toronto in beautiful Kawartha Lakes region. Home is available over the winter months till May for large discounted price if booking for a 3 to 3 1/2 month stay. Lots of winter fun in, on and around the property. Cross country skiing, ice fishing, bon fires, Great indoor games room, pool, ping pong, air hockey, kids area. Sauna. Hot tub open year round.
Summer fun 18x36' heated salt water pool, opens June 1- Oct 12. Lake swimming as well. . 7 Spacious immaculately appointed bedrooms with 9 beds, 6 - 3 pc bathrooms. Sunroom overlooks the lake. Sandy beach. Canoe and kayaks, paddle board and paddleboat.
Rec room has bar, pool table, ping pong, darts, air hockey, shuffleboard, infrared sauna, kids' play area. Back yard fire pit and large patio. Open porch with BBQ. Beautiful views with 122' waterfront. Beautiful sunrises. Sunset colours. 60' dock. Gorgeous flower gardens. 3 flat screen smart TVs. Great wifi. Stores 6 minute drive. Orillia 24 minute drive.
Great for multiple families ... or relaxation retreats. Now accepting up to 16 people. First floor bungalow living and bedroom bathroom area great for elderly family members.

Perfect Family Vacation

Perfect group getaway

This property was perfect for our large group of 7 couples. Lots of room to gather together as well as lots of room to have some privacy. Basement full of games was a highlight. Pool with a view of the lake was perfect. Easy access down to the dock and lake for some fishing was a bonus.

Perfect family holiday

This was the perfect spot for our family holiday! The property has endless activities and things to do to keep everyone entertained and having fun no matter the weather. The heated pool and hot tub were a highlight and the kids swam all weekend even on cloudier days. Communication with Mina and Gary was easy and effortless. The hosts were very responsive. We would highly recommend and hope to return again as a family.

With a large family spanning three generations, we were looking for plenty of space, plenty to do all in a beautiful setting. This was satisfied in every respect.

Gary and Mina were the ultimate hosts, by the time we left I felt like I'd made two new friends even though we never actually met. They were a light in the dark after another property fell through at the last minute due to a cockroach problem. Their home was amazing - spacious and cozy, the perfect Kawartha Retreat. We had lots of room for 16 of us, with comfy beds, spacious washrooms and seating areas everywhere.With a competitive family, there were some fierce ping pong competitions, lots of billiards, shuffleboard, air hockey and card games. The rec room had a bar, roulette table, sauna, children's area and more.Their record collection was outstanding, nice to go back in time and have a turntable spinning the tunes. Beautiful children's books for bedtime stories.A large kitchen was the source of some great family meals and much laughter.The lake wasn't ideal for swimming due to the hot summer but that didn't discourage water fun as the heated pool was always full, plus a hot tub to relax in. Kayaks, a canoe and paddle board were available if you wanted to venture out. Even the trampoline got used.The sunrises were stunning and sitting on the deck watching the sun come up was a wonderful way to start your day. If you're a bird watcher, there were lots to see. The outdoor setting around the fire pit was picturesque, and the home was surrounded by colourful perennial gardens.I could go on, but I'm out of characters. Couldn't have asked for more.

Wonderful vacation!

We LOVED our vacation at Gary and Mina's property. Our multigenerational family of 10 only have great things to say about the house, the grounds and the activities. Gary and Mina were responsive to all our questions before we booked and during our stay. The heated pool and hot tub were huge highlights for the whole family as were the the fishing off the dock and boating on the lake. We enjoyed the fire pit and the ton of games in the basement (pool, ping pong, air hocky, shuffleboard and even a little play area for our 2 year old). The house is huge and comfortable with great gathering spaces for TV, games and eating. I loved that several basics were supplied such as toilet paper, paper towels, seasonings, soap, coffee filters, etc. The backyard is beautifully landscaped with lovely trees, gardens, chairs around the firepit, and lights around the pool. The house has many personal touches (games, books, paintings, etc) which means it is not just a bare bones rental. It's very homey. We all had a great time! Thank you!

Great space, pool and lake

We had a great family stay at Gary and Mina’s house. The house is very spacious with lots of bedrooms and social/living areas for lounging/hanging out, the pool was fantastic and it’s so nice to be on the lake, sit on the dock and use the pedal boat and kayaks. That said, there are a number of things that were slightly misleading/need to be addressed for future renters. The Wi-Fi is very poor, cutting out regularly, and the water pressure is weak in the bathrooms so the showers are not strong. The house was not thoroughly cleaned, with dust on most surfaces, floors were not properly swept or washed, especially under beds where, in one room, we found an old dirty sock. Outside, the pool and garden furniture were full of very old cobwebs, the dock and lawn had bird droppings, not recent, and the lawn had dog droppings. Three weeks before we arrived Gary reminded me that there was a trampoline, something my granddaughter was looking forward to, but upon arrival he pointed to the trampoline sitting on its side at the side of the house and said we could not use it. I do not recall the original posting on VRBO, and it has changed since I booked it, but there are both a hot tub and sauna which we were told not to use. When renting this house you are getting someone’s very lived-in, large lake house with much of their things around. All that said, it is a wonderful large space for a family gathering.

Large space, very suitable for large groups!

Stayed here with a group of 11 (6 adults and 5 children under age of 5) for 4 nights. Location was great. Gary and Mina were for responsive from the get-go. We had arrived earlier than expected and Gary/Mina was able to provide us early check-in. We had a situation with a bed frame in the upstairs room that broke upon use the 1st night and Gary came out to fix it the next morning. The pool was perfect for our group and was enjoyed by all. We do wish there were more (and better/cleaner) cookware/pots/pans, but it wasn't a big deal for us. Thanks Gary/Mina for your hospitality!

Our home on the lake is custom built. We have 122 ft of private beach/lakefront. Beauty surrounds on all sides of the 1 acre property. Farms are across the street. We are on a cul de sac so no traffic. The grounds are full of unique trees and flowers. We have a canoe, 2 kayaks and a paddleboat.
