Pest problems

The property furnishings and location were great. The bedrooms were spacious and the living room, dining room were as well.The house was less than a 1/4 mile from a grocery store, bakery and 3-4 restaurants.There was a step that was slanted and painted black at the entrance which we had to be careful not to misstep. The house next door was dilapidated and the curb side appeal was not great- the landscaping was poor and the exterior of the house needed painting and/or power washing. We did not go out the back door as it was over grown and offered no great view.We discovered rodent droppings on the kitchen counter top on the first day after we had checked in. A saran wrapped scone we had bought and left on the counter was eaten through while we were out for dinner.The property manager was excellent and took our call about the rodent issue. She said she would send pest control the following morning, but we felt that the problem could not be handled in a timely manner. Setting out traps may have or may not have captured the rodent (s) and anything left outside the refrigerator may have been compromised. We did not feel comfortable so left the next morning. The following morning, we discovered a roach crawling across the dining room carpet.Had there not been the pest problem, it would have been a great property.

Great stay for swim competition!

A great house and location for our swim competition at the GAC! Clean, cozy and close to everything we needed. Walking distance to local restaurants and a grocery story. Cute revitalized neighborhood. We saw people walking their dogs, families in their yards. It felt like a safe, normal neighborhood. House had everything we would need for the week (including a washer and dryer— important for us!) and the host was responsive to all of our needs. Will definitely stay here again.

Great location

We stayed for NCAA swimming and found the location to be perfect. Close to venue and a walk to the store and great restaurants. House was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Good location

The home is very old, so electric outlets are not abundant to say the least. While the photos show are very nice home, they are deceiving. The property has a significant moisture issue which is covered by air fresheners everywhere. Too much perfume hits you the moment you enter. The outside area is in very bad shape.

Great Location

The home is very cute inside and clean, location was perfect, close to everything. Walking distance to grocery store and restaurants. Couple of suggestions Does need outside property clean up. And simple thing like some bowls for the kitchen so you can mix pancakes or salads., and couple of cookie sheets. But that’s minor. Beth the manager was excellent and very helpful. We did have a great stay.

Greensboro NC for granddaughter graduation from NCA&T

Quaint house in Greensboro NC. Very quite neighborhood. House was just right for a girls weekend for granddaughter graduation. Nice and clean. Beth stayed in contact with us the whole weekend. Beds were very comfortable. I would rent again.

Perfect Place for a Pup

My family and I had to unexpectedly take our geriatric dog with us to GSO while we were there for a work conference. The host was so gracious to help us with our last minute booking and work with us through the conference schedule. This was the perfect place for our pup to hang out while we were at the conference all day. She was so comfy in her bed on the couch, she barely woke up when we got back in the evenings. The house was big enough for the whole family and within easy access of everywhere we needed to be.

Great Little Space

The property was great and in a great location to walk to places and get around! The furniture was comfortable and very homey! The customer service was more than what we could ask for! If ever needing a space in Greensboro again we will be staying here!

Chic and Cozy

The house was cute at first glance, however the pictures were a bit misleading. I reserved the home because they indicated they were pet friendly. The king bed was oversized for the room, so super close to the wall on one side and the bedroom door would not open all the way on the other side. Thus running into bed frame on many ocassions throughout the stay and creating bruised legs. The kitchen was dated; no dishwasher or garbage disposal. (Guess I should have look more closely at pictures) The necessities provided were thrown together from second hand stores that should have just been tossed; utensils and small appliances seemed worn out. Bathroom was cramped and did not have space for toiletries any extra anything. The toilet was not secure to the ground. Hot water did not last long for showering. The host provided 6 towels for 3 people for 4 days. When the host was asked for other towels, I was told to use the washer and dryer. I'm on vacation; I don't want to have to do laundry during my time away from the daily grind. The host fee was almost equivalent to the nightly fee, so I felt that the accommodations would be more than adequate. That was not the case. There were other small issues that led to an overall disappointing experience. When I reached out to the host stating we left a day early due to conditions and inform her for the 3rd time, we did not bring our dog afterall, I was told sorry you didn’t have a good time, drive home safe and call another co abo

Just what we needed

In town for a concert at the coliseum and this home was in a great location. There were even several restaurants, bars, and grocery store just minutes away. The house was nice and cozy and met all of our needs. If I had to choose one improvement, it would be blackout curtains in the bedrooms, but that is very minor and only because we stayed out late.

Great location

Came to town for a concert and it was nice to be able to walk to the coliseum. Walking distance to a small grocery store and restaurants/bars. House was clean and host was very friendly and quick to respond. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great little house in Greensboro!

The house is very charming, clean, and welcoming. The back patio was a great spot to enjoy morning coffee. It was also an easy walk to some great local spots and the Greensboro Arboretum.
