That proximity to St. Barth’s lively center gives Villa Casaroc another of its desired attributes: Its location in the heart of Gustavia near L'Isola means that although the tranquil villa feels like a private sanctuary when you’re within its gates, as soon as you leave that enclave, you step into busy town life, and you have easy access to shopping, restaurants and Shell Beach, without having the bother of driving or parking a rental car.

The two-level villa has a modern design, in which the living spaces meld comfortably with one another, and the inside meshes seamlessly with the outside. A wall of glass doors slides open to connect the living room with the terrace and its outdoor dining table, covered daybed, and beguiling views of the yachts coming and going in Gustavia Harbor. Inside, a large breakfast bar separates the living room from the modern, well-equipped, black-and-white kitchen.
