Coastal Cottage - Pet Friendly

Coastal Cottage

Perfect for couples, families or a small group of friends looking to escape for a quiet get away on the south coast.
Ideal place for a holiday with your pets!

The kitchen and living is spacious and air-conditioned. There is a gas heater for the cooler months. The kitchen bifold doors open out to the covered entertaining area which features Webber BBQ and outdoor dining, overlooking a child and pet friendly yard and wood fire pizza oven.

We are Pet friendly (Dog safe yard) as are most of the surrounding beaches. See house manual for further details.
Parking is available off street for 3 cars in the driveway. Detached garage is not available for use.

The bedrooms provide for 1 queen, 2x single and 1x king single featuring quality linen, doonas and pillows.
Bathroom has rain shower and we provide towels, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and soap. Hangers and ironing facilities are provided. Washing machine and outdoor clothes line are also available for use.


To assist you to unwind we provide a Television, WIFI, books, and board games. DVD player and selection of DVD's.


Kitchen is well-equipped and has basic kitchen supplies including tea and coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, oil, paper towel.

We ask that you leave everything as you found it and in its place. Thank you in advance.

Note: The cottage backs onto Memorial Dr.
Of the more than 100 stays, 3-4 guests have reported traffic noise to be a problem. We lived at the property for over 5 years and were never bothered by it. Perhaps reach out prior to booking if you have any concerns.

Holiday getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Towradgi. The property was lovely and catered for our two cavoodles with a great, fenced yard. The booking process was very easy. We enjoyed looking around the area.

Good for Dogs

Cottage is cute, good wood fire pizza oven and great yard for dogs. The location backs onto a major busy road, so it was very noisy.

Very clear and comfortable

We had a lovely stay, this home is very well looked after with great amenities. It was so nice to be able to use a washing machine and dishwasher. We were very impressed with how clean and well maintained. With thanks to Natalie, we hope to stay again!

A beautiful house in a great suburb

Our family of 5 had a great "WOLiday" (a holiday in Wollongong) staying at this beautiful property. It has an awesome outdoor pizza oven, a barbecue, everything you need in the kitchen/tv/bathroom/bedrooms..., lovely linen and manchester, modern renovated bathroom... Property was secure, very well presented, lawns had been freshly mown and large undercover deck and outdoor area was all very clean and enjoyable.Property is well located, beach is just down the road, train station a short walk, Woolies etc a short drive & heaps to do about the gong. Highly recommended.

The property was just what was needed and well located. Although it is close to a main road, noise level was surprisingly low. Very neat and tidy. Quite basic but more than adequate. Close to the Science Museum and Planetarium which was a reason to go to Wollongong.

Perfect for us

We had an enjoyable girls week away in this lovely cottage where everything we needed was supplied. Perfect set up for 4 of us to spend time together after meeting up from 2 different states. Close to shops, the beach and close access to the freeway for easy touring up and down the coast. Thanks for sharing Natalie.

Natalie was very accommodating. The house was clean and not to far from shops, train station and beach. It was also a perfect property for our dog as it has a big yard. Would recommend if you are planning a South Coast getaway.

Nice little cottage for a short stay

Stayed here for a weekend while we attended an event in Wollongong. We arrived on Friday afternoon and the traffic at the back was very busy and a bit noisy. House was clean and tidy. Beds comfortable. Bathroom fan needs cleaning/fixing. Great place to stay for a short stay with pets.

Exceptional Pet Friendly Cottage

I came down with my 16 & 14 yr old Grandchildren plus My 3 yr old Puppy and 18yr old Cat. We all throughly enjoyed your lovely home, it was very comfortable and had everything supplied that we needed. It was spotlessly clean, and I will certainly recommend your property to my friends.

During my recent stay in Towradgi, I was thoroughly impressed by the accommodation. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the were immediately noticeable, setting the stage for a remarkable stay. Weekend get away

Natalie was a friendly and lovely host to deal with. She made the process easy. The house was clean and tidy and was great for two people. I would think it would suit a young family of 4. It was an easy drive to the beach. Kitchen was well equipped. My only negative would be the location. We read that previous guests found it noisy with the traffic behind the house. I would have to agree. Lots of sirens and loud cars. Shame as it’s a lovely house. Thank you Natalie for sharing your home with us.

backs onto highway

house was good except for nails protruding on deck and dangerous tap in kitchen that had sharp edge. the major problem was that the back fence adjoins a major highway which is continually noisy all day/night. there are no blinds on the back window and doorway which affects privacy noise and all you can see from the back of the house is the passing traffic. it is almost impossible with the noise to sit and enjoy the back deck with any sort of solitude. and the back deck is the only dining space in the whole property.

First family getaway

What a way to start the year. A beautiful cottage just minutes away from the beach and only a short drive to Wollongong! This was our first getaway as a family of five and our first Stayz booking. Finding and booking through Stayz was easy and with the app, communicating with the property manager was made so much easier and they were always responsive and polite. We stayed for two nights at this lovely country cottage. It was easy to find (literally straight off the main road) and easy to get to and from the area during our stay. As a family with a very curious toddler, we did need to rearrange a couple of things and with the unfortunate weather (rain, wind and quite cool), we had to opt to eat out as the only space to dine as a family/group is on the outside terrace which would great in more suitable weather. Being an older home, although it has been tastefully renovated, it does somewhat carry noise which meant being careful in which floorboards were stepped on once the kids were asleep. It was great that you can keep the property enclosed so the kids could play in the backyard and explore some new surroundings. Overall, it was great to getaway with family and being in such a central location, was wonderful way welcome in 2023!
