Roomy convenient location

The rental was large enough to accommodate the family, safe location & parking was good. Didn’t use the deck-it had a lot of spider webs and very dusty.

A very nice place!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The entire place was spotless and well appointed-especially the kitchen! The patio and yard was really nice and we enjoyed picking blackberries in the back yard. The only slight drawback was that the house is in the landing path of SeaTac airport. Honestly, it didn’t bother us much though.

Our perfect summer stay

Our summer family vacation started with this lovely home. It was so roomy for our group, we didn't utilize all of it. Great location for our early morning flight as it's close to SEA airport. We really enjoyed the privacy of the backyard because of all the mature trees, you cannot see any other houses. Also, picked blackberries from the yard everyday. Will definitely recommend this house.

Great location!

We were in Des Moines for a birthday bash being hosted by my sister. Her house was 3 blocks away from the home and within walking distance! It's also close to marina and park for walks to the beach. The home is secluded, has a view of the sound and a large fenced backyard for dogs. The kitchen was fully stocked with all cooking apparatus we needed and loved the dining area where all 8 of us could eat together. The home was clean, comfortable with open floor plan and great TV viewing area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

Hidden gem in Des Moines

My husband and I were pleased with this lovely home, located at the end of a quiet street in Des Moines. Beautifully decorated, furniture and beds were quite comfortable. The deck off the first floor living area was a great place to bask in the sun. Views from the second floor deck were gorgeous. One night my husband spotted Venus! We enjoy cooking and the kitchen was nicely equipped with what we needed to prepare our meals. There are 17 steps from the first floor to the second, so potential renters should take that into consideration.

Beautiful view, decked out kitchen and doggie approved!

We came for my daughters 7th birthday since we recently moved to Oregon and she wanted to be with her best friends for her birthday. We had a sleepover party and it was perfect for my family and doggie. The huge TV was perfect for a movie night along with the popcorn maker. Then our dog a huge yard to run around in which made her so happy. It was very clean and the layout was fun for the kids to play in while mom and dad could hideout upstairs in a private primary bedroom overlooking the Marina in the distance. When I drove up it was nestled to the back and not much to look at but the backyard views were very pretty. I would definitely recommend this place and it also had a comfy bed too.

Family Reunion in Des Moines WA

The home was excellent - clean and fairly well stocked. Lots of stairs, so if you have little ones, be prepared. The beds were comfortable; bathrooms very clean; kitchen well stocked with dishes, glassware and cooking pans. Our biggest enjoyment - the yard and deck. Unfortunately, the grill was a disaster, tables on the deck were filthy and cobwebs were all around - in JULY. We cleaned all of that and it was worth it - we sat outside most days/evenings. If they took care of the deck as well as the house I'd have to give it 6+ stars. We would consider staying here in the future. The town of Des Moines is darling.

Awesome place

We were traveling to Seattle to attend a my niece’s wedding and a series of family reunions in the area. Prior to the trip, we received accurate information to prepare for our arrival and the check-in was smooth. The place was cozy and comfortable with enough spaces to lounge around, rest and get together. In the mornings, it was bright and warm with a nice view of Puget Sound. The neighborhood was quiet, and the marina was just a few minutes drive. Miles and David were wonderful hosts and I highly recommend their place!

This was perfect

The house was exactly as they stated if not better. Super clean and the porches were amazing. We ate outside and had breakfast on the upstairs deck to look out over the water. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. We got there a little early and they didn’t seem to mind. The check in and check out was really easy and the owners were easy and fun to talk to via text. It was me and my husband, my aunt and uncle and another couple that stayed. Very nice stay. I would for sure recommend staying here if you’re in the area and need a place. Easy to get to downtown Seattle and see all the attractions but far enough away to stay out of the city. We spend time at the Des Moines marina and park. Beautiful!! I can’t say enough good things.
