Great location
I absolutely love Ship Bottom. The place was comfortable. The garbage disposal was stuffed with tea bags and not working. There were gold fish crackers in the pull out bed and underneath the ottoman. To get the key you have to go to the rental company 2 blocks away. We came in late and learned there was no parking. We had to park on the street and carry our things. No parking makes it stressful to leave on the weekend. The property is managed by a realty agency. I was annoyed with the payment process. I thought it would all be online with my credit card. It was not. I kept getting emails stating I would loose the property and needed to pay, resulting in having to make calls to the realtor. There was going to be another fee to use a credit card. This was in addition to the VRBO fee. There were multiple calls to get the payment figured out and the emails had been automated. I then learned I was picking up a key on a porch and there was no option for a lock box or keyless entry. The realtor promptly offered to "educate" me and made comments like "you obviously don't know LBI". There were lots of bikes and beach stuff outside our door all week. There is no clothesline. Bathing suits and towels are scattered amongst the chairs outside along with people's bikes and ocean gear, causing there to be no place to sit or hang out outside the condo.
