Rae's Retreat is a beautifully updated vacation home located in charming historic Fredericksburg, Texas. It offers four bedrooms and three bathrooms, including two ensuite Master bedrooms, making it perfect for a family retreat or weekend getaway with friends. The home features soaring ceilings, an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area, and is filled with natural light, creating a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere.



The Space:

The living area is furnished with a large sectional couch and a recliner, providing ample space for conversations and relaxation. The dining area boasts a long table that can comfortably seat 8-10 people, making it ideal for shared meals. Each of the bedrooms is equipped with new, comfortable beds, ample storage space, convenient lamps with USB outlets, ceiling fans, and room-darkening shades, ensuring a comfortable and restful stay.



Indoors, you can enjoy listening to music on the record player, watching your favorite game on the large screen TV, or engaging in some friendly competition with the well-stocked game shelf. Outdoors, you can relax on the porch swing under the large covered patio, sip your morning coffee in the rocking chairs, or cook a delicious meal on the large propane grill and enjoy outdoor dining at the picnic table. The property also features a fire pit where you can gather with your loved ones in the evening and share stories under the enchanting Italian lights. For some fun outdoor activities, there is a rare Bocce Ball court available for friendly competitive games. The large corner lot is adorned with a new privacy fence and beautiful shade trees, providing a peaceful and relaxing setting. Additionally, there is a new 2-car carport off the alley to keep your vehicles protected from the Texas sun.



The well-stocked kitchen with new appliances is perfect for preparing meals, and it also features a wine fridge and abundant wine and cocktail glasses, making it a great entertainment bar. The kitchen is equipped with a filtered water tap at the sink, and the home has a new tankless water heater, ensuring a continuous supply of hot water for everyone's comfort.



Rae's Retreat is conveniently located about 6 blocks from Main Street, where you can find a variety of dining and shopping options. It is also less than a mile from Cross Mountain, which offers beautiful panoramic views of the city. The neighborhood is great for walking, running, or biking, with tree-lined streets and friendly locals. Live music venues and dining establishments are just 7 blocks away, allowing you to experience the local culture.

Guest Access:

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

Thank you for choosing Cozi Vacation Rentals! Important details for your upcoming stay:

1. Check-in instructions, house rules, and property addresses will be sent 72 and 8 hours before arrival.

2. Not all homes have cable; consider setting up a streaming account in advance.

3. Our team is committed to assisting you, though occasional check-in delays may occur during peak periods.

4. WiFi is available in all homes, but uninterrupted service is not guaranteed. No refunds or rate adjustments will be made for mechanical failures, or discontinued or interrupted services that occur during your stay.

5. A $500 fine will be imposed for any evidence of smoking, confetti, vomit residues, or glitter.

6. Set the A/C no lower than 72 degrees to prevent freezing and system issues; no refunds for low-temperature-related A/C problems.

7. We will provide a two-day supply of start-up sundries, including dish soap, sponge, paper towels, toilet paper, bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hand lotion. Guests will need to purchase additional items from a local store or bring them with them. Missing supplies must be reported to our Customer Hospitality team within one hour of arrival.

8. Pets are allowed only in designated pet-friendly units, subject to an extra fee in addition to the nightly rate. Please verify whether pets are permitted in the unit you intend to rent. In the event that a pet is discovered in a non-pet-friendly unit, the guest grants Cozi authorization to levy a minimum additional cleaning fee of $500.

9. Bugs are common in the Texas Hill Country; pest control is in place on a regular basis, but some insects are inevitable.

10. In Texas, there are periods of time without significant rainfall causing the county to place a ban on burning. Please check the current burn ban status, before using the fire pit at your vacation rental. Check the amenities to see if this rental is equipped with a fire pit.

11. Please observe Fredericksburg’s Quiet Hours (10 p.m. to 7 a.m.)

12. The City of Fredericksburg is an international Dark Sky Community. To protect the dark skies, please turn off outdoor lighting when not in use.

13. Only utilize the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces at your rental.

14. For any issues during your stay, a 72-hour window after check-out is provided to file a claim. Note that refunds won't be issued for claims submitted after this period. We appreciate your cooperation.
