Chris was a great and accommodating host. He provided excellent sightseeing ideas and was very prompt in his replies. The property was perfect for a private getaway and what beats sitting in your own hottub overlooking a magnificent view!

Secluded and peaceful. It was everything that we needed in a quick weekend getaway. The view was spectacular from the deck and hot tub. We loved how quiet and peaceful it was. No cell service, let us put our phones down and truly relax (wifi was great and the signal was strong). Christoph was helpful, he called and emailed to ensure we had directions. Awesome, relaxing trip, we plan to come back again!

Island wonderland

We had the pleasure of staying here at sable point cottage and we absolutely loved it! Beautiful cabin, wonderful host and the best views of the scenic lake not to mention being completely alone was fantastic! Highly recommend the hike to the waterfall! A++

Silent Lake

One of out best vacation locations. Beautifully placed in the lake with a spectacular view. We very much enjoyed our das, were on and in the water whenever possible. Great little spot to renew your spirit

This was a great place to reset your self from the hectic life we tend to live. Sitting by the fire place, seeing the stars, hearing the oceans gentle breathe what more could you ask for? I guess maybe a hot tub. wifi, a full kitchen and maybe a nice comfy bed yes those are all included as well. We were able to explore the area and was shocked that nobody else seem to even know this place existed. We walked a good three hours on the beach without seeing another soul. So if you are looking for some peace and tranquility you can certainly find it here. Thanks to Chris for being a great house and just allowing us to share your beautiful space it is a great honor.

Amazing time at the Saint Esprit Cottage

Cannot say enough good things about our stay. The pictures and description are 100% accurate. When we arrived we were greeted with a lovely welcome message. The hot tub is amazing. First night the moon reflecting off the lake was incredible. You can hear the ocean surf breaking in the distance. The accommodations were modern and up to date. Also the cottage was very secluded, when looking out from the deck and the hot tub you won't see anything but nature. I would highly recommend stay here.

Peaceful & beautiful

The property is beautiful and very peaceful! It is incredibly private and away from everything. We especially loved using the hot tub and the kayaks. We are missing the view and the peacefulness already! The house and exterior is very well designed to fit the setting.The bed is comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. While there is no cell service, the WiFi is strong. About 30 minutes away are stores and restaurants. We went to Bras d'Or Inn on Christoph's recommendation and enjoyed a kitchen party there along with dinner and drinks; it was amazing!

Absolutely gorgeous cottage plus location, fantastic host!

This place may be out of the way but it is TOTALLY worth the drive! The location is so private, incredibly beautiful and peaceful. There aren't enough words to describe how great our stay was at this fantastic cottage. The cottage is beautiful both inside and out, incredibly clean and well appointed. Plenty of thoughtful little touches like robes for the hot tub, complete guide, maps for the area, more than fully stocked kitchen and the list goes on. This was like going to a spa! Christoph was a fabulous host who went out of his way to help us! We had wonderful welcome gifts, absolutely recommend visiting, highest rating I can possibly give!

Would I Stay there Again?

Absolutely. The cottage is beautiful and it is extremely peaceful. Very secluded, you literally have your own fenced space. There is a fire pit, hot tube that is yours. You do not have to share. This is definitely a 5 Star Cottage. The owner left a beautiful bottle of wine and chocolates and the best way to thank him is to leave a positive review and book again, which we are now discussing which weekend we can come back.

Beautiful secluded cottage!

What a beautiful and immaculate cottage! A must see!! Absolutely spotless and upscale cottage on a serene and quiet lake. Beds are very comfy, views are beautiful, and the cottage is like new! Very nice wood and minimalist decor. We loved kayaking, canoeing and we checked out St Esprit beach. What a cool adventure. We made s’mores by the fire and loved the views from the hot tub. Christoph is an incredible host. Very attentive, fast response and he didn’t miss a thing! He thought of everything in this cottage! Everything was spotless! Our family of 6 stayed here with lots of room. There is two bedrooms, one with a pull out comfy sofa bed and one with a King Size bed. There are two comfy sofa beds in the living room. We also did a day trip to see the Cabot Trail. It took 1.5 hours to get to the trail from this cottage. A great day trip! Be aware of being charged for extra people if you have more than 2 people. This cottage sleeps 7, and we only had 6 people but got a $200 charge for an extra person 😢. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

The Most Perfect Getaway!

From the moment we first enquired about staying at Christoph's property for the night, to the time we checked out, Christoph was an amazing host. He was very timely and professional with all communication.We were in complete awe when we saw the property. Photos dont even come close to doing it justice. Every detail has been carefully thought out. The hot tub is right on the lake and was clean and hot!! Watching the sun rise while drinking coffee on the deck, while being able to hear the crashing waves from the ocean, was . We were so happy with our stay, we have decided that we will be making this an annual trip.My only recommendation would be to take a throw blanket with you! I like to to curl up on the couch with a blanket or sitting on the deck was a little cool. Definitely shouldn't be a deterrent for someone looking to stay here, just a little suggestion to help enjoy to the fullest!
