Dogs were barking several times at night when there should have been quiet, possums stretching around in the roof of the cottage. Amenities were basic , clean and modestly comfortable. Ok at best

Great place to stay

Went to a wedding 5 minutes away. So, the cottage was perfect for an overnight stay. It was well appointed and had everything you would want.

Host was friendly. Property was nice and clean. They provided lots of accessories and information on the surrounding area.

I booked a cottage. I was at a wedding got a message from the host if I wanted to ‘upgrade’ to the tiny house. I trusted him is was an actual upgrade. Wasn’t in a position to check the premises online. Accepted the ‘upgrade’ to the tiny house. Arrived. The internet was down and wouldn’t be fixed. No tv or books and the tiny house was the size of a shoe box.There were some extremely dubious stains on the couch. We did not dare sit on it. We did not stay the night. The smell from the drop toilet was enough to turn us off. The moral of the story is don’t trust an ‘upgrade’. Do your homework. So very very disappointing. Terrible end to what was a great day of celebration of my first borns wedding. I did contact the host. He wasn’t interested. You live and learn. But I will be warming any potential client of this property to beware at every opportunity I get on every social media platform I that can tell my story.

We stayed in cottage one, it has one bedroom with ensuite and a 2nd toilet.kitchen & lounge roomPerfect for a overnight stay or weekend away or longer if you wanted it has all the facilities you need to be self sufficient or the village is 5 minutes away

Will be good if you can add little shelf in the shower area to hold the soap bar you provided, and if possible to let the guests know that’s you’re not providing a shampoo.

Interesting and disappointing

I believe our booking was incorrectly relayed to us from STAYS, and as a result our accommodation had to be changed and moved by our hosts after we had unpacked and gone into town. Our hosts were very accommodating and obliging but the mess-up by STAYS was inefficient and very disappointing. It is likely we will not book with STAYS again.

Mulla Villa cottage

The cottage was not a satisfactory standard for the price. House very old and only partly renovated. Dirty, with cobwebs at every window. Dead flies on window sills. Steps from living area to bedroom and also steps to bathroom had broken tiles which were a trip hazard. We booked and paid for 2 nights but only stayed 1 night (no refund) as owner had 4 dogs which barked non stop all night, in the yard next to our bedroom.
