The Space:
The complete downstairs will be accessible for enjoying a wonderful vacation with all of the amenities that Cragsmere offers. The upstairs is locked off unless you book the whole manor and not just the cabin. Hot tub, ping pong, corn hole, fire pit, and stunning views! Plenty of space to enjoy all on 5 beautiful acres. Just minutes to Mentone, DeSoto Falls, DeSoto State Park, and 15 minutes to Little River Canyon and Fort Payne. If you are looking for a home with more space, this home can be rented with the second floor. Please inquire to rent the entire manor.

The family living space is tremendous with plenty of lounging space, a special big-screen TV viewing area, and tons of windows bringing the property's beauty and views inside. The home features the largest kitchen on the mountain with every amenity you might need, including a full-size standing freezer, coffee bar, warm drawers, and more. 2 BBQ pits, and beautiful seating under the pavilion to cozy up and watch for shooting stars, sunsets and eagles soaring.

This property is NOT shared with other guests. It is exclusive to the guests who book it. :)

Guests choose Cragsmere because of its spacious and open layout. The kitchen is large enough for everyone to hang out and cook. The bedrooms are charming and some offer the opportunity for families to sleep together if they choose.

3 bedrooms 2.5 baths with all new high-quality mattresses and beds!! Cragsmere's meandering large home is perfect for groups and families to spread out and enjoy. If you wish to rent the entire manor, the home can accommodate up to 23 guests. Listed as Cragsmere Manor. Larger groups may also enjoy the French Quarter Inn; it sleeps up to 16.

Patriot Family Homes Lookout Mountain offers easy contactless check in and stays on our properties to offer you as much privacy and vacation enjoyment possible! A key code will be sent to you before you arrival and once we have received your reservation form and ID. Thank you.
Parking on the left, key to door on the left side of the home. Easy entry for groceries into kitchen on the right side of the home under the carport.

The Neighborhood:
Lookout Mountain, Fort Payne and Mentone are all known for their beauty and authentic mountain offerings to visitors. Waterfalls, hiking trails, canyons, Eagles, bears and more inhabit and grace the mountain. Beautiful vistas, local artisans and many homegrown cafes and restaurants give visitors options to suit their desires. Authentic mountain experiences is why our guests return year after year, often season after season.

Getting Around:
Car needed. No Uber or public transportation

Other Things to Note:
1. All guests are required to submit their ID and complete our guest rental agreement.  
2. Planning to bring a pet pal? Fantastic! There is an $85 pet fee, 2 pet max.
3. For wedding reservations, you must book direct. 
4. Optional: $20 per night to heat the mini pool (must request before arrival).
5. Do not move the logs by the Pavilion
6. No parking on the grass, violators will be charge $500 fee
7. No adjusting the curtains at the Pavilion, violators will be charged a $700 fee
8. Bedrooms - Queen Bedroom w/ 2 trundle beds and connected bathroom, 1 King Bedroom, Stone Bedroom has 3 queen bedrooms. These two bedrooms have a bath and a half to share.

HOT TUB FYI:
As the water flows through the tubs master core, it is charged by low levels of copper and zinc oxides; these natural elements are safe and create a more efficient way to maintain clear, clean water. By filtering water the same way Mother Nature does, this technology reduces water-soluble heavy metals and, in the process, decreases the amount of harsh chemicals needed to purify the spa water. EcoPur Charge also controls scale, bacteria and algae. Hot tubs are checked and maintained for sanitation and safety between each reservation.

Interaction with Guests:
We like to give our guests maximum privacy, so we offer contact-free check in via a digital door code. Just know that we are only a phone call away if ever the need arises during your stay!
