Dreaming of a private beach getaway? Look no further! Sandcastle Unit #526 is a dreamy 5th floor efficiency condo for up to 2 guests that has been completely renovated and has beautiful views of the ocean and pool.

This sleek and well-designed space is the perfect place to unwind after a long day in the sun. The living area is fresh and modern décor, including a luxury king sized bed, 4-drawer dresser and stunning views from the floor to ceiling windows and adorable coastal touches. In addition to breathtaking views, there are also a small couch and a swivel chair that will be perfect for lounging and catching your favorite movie from the 50" Smart TV.

The kitchen includes full-sized stainless-steel appliances, ample counter and cabinet space, plus all the cookware, utensils and dishes you will need to easily prepare meals. A standard coffeemaker is also provided, so for those early risers, be sure to take your favorite type of coffee along! For dining, there is a table and 2 chairs.

This unit has a beautiful bathroom with upgraded brushed nickel fixtures and brilliant, recessed and vanity lighting. The vanity has plenty of counterspace to store personal toiletries on, and there is a large custom tiled walk-in shower with a tile seat. For additional storage space, there are also 2 closets in the bathroom as well where guests can keep larger suitcases and additional pantry items if needed.

The view is sure to be the cherry on top of this lovely place! With direct views of the Gulf of Mexico and Port Aransas beach and the resort style pool guests will be delighted to be able to enjoy visiting with their significant other while soaking in the refreshing sea air.

Perfect for couple getaway

The view from our room was perfect! You had a great view of the pool and an even better view of the beach. And being on the top floor, we didn’t have all the noise from the pool area and people coming in and out. The room was clean, quiet. It was the perfect room for a couples weekend getaway.

The condo was beautiful! The view of the pool and ocean from the balcony was gorgeous! The only thing I would recommend is repainting the chairs on the balcony. Every time we sat in them we got flakes of white paint an over us.

Port A Get-a-way

The condo and property was very clean and nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very comfortable and just enough space for us. I loved how close to the beach access we were. The patio overlooking the pool with beach views was so pretty and relaxing. We had a great visit and will definitely be back.

We had a great view of the ocean on one of the upper stories. The room set up beautifully and I especially loved the bathroom. I wished I could have stayed longer since they had a full refrigerator and all the utensils you’d need. The lobby does have a Keurig.

Unbelievable Time!

This was by far the best condo we have ever stayed in! The property is immaculate! Perfect access to the beach! Check in was effortless & they let us check in early since the condo was ready! If you go, make sure to get a golf cart from Kooks delivered to you!

Beautiful view of ocean and pool!

We are a family of 3. We really enjoyed our stay and the condo was very clean! The kitchen has everything I needed to cook for my family. We had a great view of the ocean and also the pool area downstairs. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Everything was great and just what we needed for an end of summer family vacation. We will definitely be back soon!

Decent stay

Very clean and the view was stunning! Great location! Bed wasn’t very comfortable and the plug outlets are too far from the bedside. No extra blankets in the room. Elevator #4 sounded a little bad… sound like a belt was loose so we took the extra walk to use a different elevator.

Beautiful property

The condo is right in the beach with a private baordwalk. Just a few short minutes walk to the water. Condo had everything you needed. Grocery store in town a few minutes away to be able to cook some meals and not eat out all the time. We cooked breakfast each morning and one dinner while we were there. No complaints of any type. Would highly recommend and plan to return. The rooms that are directly front with the best view are higher priced. We were off to the side but still had a spectacular view.

We’ve stayed in many different rooms over the years. The bed was less comfortable than it could have been. Lots of creaking every time we rolled over. The head of the bed had a crevice that our pillows kept falling into. We grabbed extra pillows to stuff back there only to realize the next day that one had a large spot of what looked like blood on it. Not sure how I missed that. I was a red water spot as long and wide as my forearm. The carpets were a little dingy The shower really should have been cleaned much better. The elevator and hot tub only worked intermittently. Unfortunately we ended up leaving a day early just due to weather. Nothing to be done about that part, just sucks to spend 1k on a 3 night stay at the beach . Then be stuck in a less than clean and comfortable condo at that. It was my 37th birthday and I’m just bummed The view from the room was great though

Roaches and shower leaks

I have stayed in unit 526 since April 1, 2025. Over the last 13 days I have noticed the shower does not drain properly after use of the shower. Primarily, this issue resulted in the back left corner, near the shower door and permanent bench. Water seems to collect and leak through the wall, into the tile, base board and puddle on the ground. It takes the shower and floor 24-48 hours to completely dry. I tested this by not using the shower for 48 hours. On the base board, upon arriving, I noticed yellow tinting to the grout and caulk line. After each shower I’ve noticed these lines turn dark brown as if they are wet and then dry even more rust colored. By my last day here, the tiles were showing visible saturation lines running 8-12” extending towards the toilet, away from the shower. There were water marks on the tile from the base boards and tiles behind the shower wall, behind the bathroom entry way door. To help alleviate this issue, I began shortening my showers to micro baths as to reduce water saturation. Left the bathroom fan running to reduce moisture. Turned the AC fan on to run constantly and turned it to 74. Since the bath mat would become saturated in the top left corner, I would pick it up and hang on the shower door handle to dry. Additionally, upon arriving on April 1, 2025 there was a Roach and Beetle problem coming from the shower drain. I immediately let the front desk know. This problem persists today. I was guaranteed pest control, canceling 2 vacation day

Weekend getaway

This is a great size condo for 2 adults or young kids even though not allowed there’s plenty of room for 4. Perfect location on the beach right off access road near downtown Port A. The only down side is that you can hear the occupant next door. I either heard their TV and this morning woke up to a dog fighting and barking. But overall a great place!
