Great Location and Super Helpful Owner

The owner was super helpful with the check in process and accommodating special requests. The location is perfect for heading downtown to New Paltz (about a 10-minute drive) and enjoying the sights. Thank you!

Great spot

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy, clean, nicely decorated spot close to downtown New Paltz and hiking trails. Although we stayed only one night and didn’t have time to enjoy the yard it is beautifully maintained. Owner was friendly and accommodating.

place was great, exactly as described...ryan was great, no issues all was as described...however sent 2 notes via vrbo but rec'd no response and ryan apologized...so all good...if needed place up that way again would stay.

Awesome place to stay!!

Ryan made the whole process very easy and made the room very welcoming. The patio area was outstanding. We were able to have a fire and have s’mores with the s’mores kit he provided. He also left snacks in our room for us to enjoy and that was very nice. Overall, the stay was amazing. Would definitely recommend to others and would love to visit again!!

I couldn’t ask for better guests. Not only were they very easy to work with, they treated my space as if it were their own. They went above and beyond by even cleaning out the fire pit and leaving a nice note and gift behind. I was very humbled by all of this. They are welcome back anytime!!!

Ryan’s apartment was a perfect spot for a quick weekend getaway to beautiful New Paltz. The apartment was extremely clean and exactly as advertised, the bed was comfy, and the grounds were beautiful. Ryan was a gracious and communicative host. I definitely recommend this spot.

Beautiful home

The home was very clean. The house was great for us. Ryan was easy to communicate with. If you’re up early enough to see the sunrise, take a look from the front yard. It was beautiful.

This place was great! The apartment itself is a great size for 2 people. The yard was pretty big with lots of seating, firepit, an awesome guitar shaped chiminea, nice sized pool, outdoor tv in the gazebo. The owner, Ryan, came later at night and left the next morning. He was super nice and very helpful!

The backyard was really cool! Great features. Beautiful, peaceful, and private. We did not see or hear anyone else on the property during our stay. The apartment was very nice. The room is beautiful and very clean. The owner lives on the property and happened to be home and introduced himself. He was a very personable man. We had a beautiful kitchenette to make our breakfast. The bed was comfortable, the water in the shower was nice and hot and the sitting area outside was nice and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.

Clean! Relaxing! Beautiful location! Our first time to New York away from the city! Being from California, we were absolutely thrilled by the countryside and what a perfect little piece of paradise to enjoy it from! Green green green! All was good and and would recommend Ryan’s place to anyone wanting to just relax and enjoy this part of the country!! Back yard was perfect for our nightly game of gin and a glass of wine!!!

No privacy

We arrived only to find that the unit was part of a house and we could hear conversations upstairs. Left right away and didn't stay one night out of a 3 night reservation. Already called vrbo customer service to start a claim. For my first booking through vrbo, it wasn't great. I would like to try using the service again but only if i get a full refund.

Unfortunately not everyone is honest in their reviews and I will let my other reviews over the last year speak for themselves. My priority as a host is ensuring every guest gets exactly what they expect it to be and this was no different. Perfect Weekend Getaway

Ryan, the host was very accommodating and responsive when we had any questions—he really thought of every detail (even down to snacks for the room and a cute s’mores set for the fire). He did an amazing job with his backyard oasis, which was a wonderful escape to relax during the day and night!
