Across the street from the infamous Sandy Hook Pier and beach on Lake Winnipeg. Perfect for vacations, beach days, ice fishing, and romantic getaways!

Open concept living room and kitchen, large butcher block island and butcher block counter tops and coffee nook, two queen beds, portable dishwasher, gas stove, gas fireplace, closets in bedrooms, newer windows, newer shingles, Pine throughout, 2 decks and a fire pit.

Kitchen is stocked with all essential cookware, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and toaster oven.

Toiletries, soaps and basic cleaning supplies are provided. Guests have access to laundry in suite!

Towels and linens provided by host. :)

Smart TV with close to 100 Blu-Ray/DVDs, sound bar and subwoofer.

Please bring your own food and shower supplies.

Blinds have been installed since photos were taken (in case you are a fan of sleeping in)!

As we run on a natural well system, guests are encouraged to bring their own drinking water. The high mineral content in the water often provides a discoloured water appearance and metallic taste.

Easy to find, a very comfortable and quiet stay, despite being on a busy road. Beach access was a short walk as advertised! We will be back!

The property was nice inside, spacious and well kept although there was nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom to dry and the bathroom tissue roll was coming off the wall. Beds were comfy and the pine finish inside is very nice, as well as a new kitchen and bathroom. Outside the landscaping wasn’t ideal, backyard was small and the fire pit had been seemingly fallen on and broken by a previous tenant and what looked like a plastic lawn chair melted on to it. To make this a 5 star rating I would recommend some nicer deck furniture and maybe some flower planters, and cobweb clean up. It was a perfect size for family with 1-2 kids.

The host quickly answered my messages. The cabin was a little smaller in size then I'm used to, but it was cozy and warm. I liked that it was only 10 minutes away from Gimli. My dog and myself had a good time there.

Had a great time at Sandy Hook

The cottage is very cozy nicely located between Gimli and Winnipeg beach. We went to the dog beach and had a good time there. Host was very responsive.

The house was super cute and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Kitchen had basic cooking supplies.The only thing that would make it better would be a little more water pressure in the shower but i don't think the host can help that

Cozy

We needed a little getaway from the city and this property in sandy hook was perfect. It was inviting, quiet, and cozy. We enjoyed being so close to the lake as well. Highly recommend!
