Check in was simple .House was clean and had everything needed for our stay .Lots of space for everyone to spread out .Outdoor space with firepit was nice.The location was excellent ,less than ten minutes to the town and park .Wifi was great .

The property was so very well equipped all of the little amenities. It is the details that mattered. I didn't need to run out and get salt. Everything in the kitchen was logically where it should be. It made things simple.

Family reunion

The property was clean and spacious. We loved the proximity to the ice cream shop, hiking and wineries. There were plenty of beds, baby gear, kitchen supplies and bathrooms for our large family of all ages. The pool was nice and there were many thoughtful touches that made our stay easy and fun. Laurie was prompt and helpful to all of our questions.

Great girls' weekend!

Lovely stay at the house - tons of bedrooms and bathrooms for all 12 of us, with an extremely well-stocked kitchen. Location is ideal for outings to the beautiful Watkins Glen, and the ice cream shop next door was a great bonus!

Great Option Close to the Glen

We were in town for the Seneca7 race and this was a great option to house all of us. We were close to wineries and restaurants and just a short drive to our event. House was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed.

Good Time

Overall the house is great. A lot of room. Well equip with anything you need in the Kitchen. My group had a great experience. Recommend for large groups. Only 2 min. drive to downtown.

House was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room for 6 couples. Two very large living rooms and 2 dining rooms with plenty of seating. Every bedroom had king beds which were very comfortable. Will absolutely stay again, perfect place for a winter wine trip with friends. Upon arrival, everything was super clean and organized.

The perfect spot for us.

We enjoyed staying at this house so much. It was very well stocked in everything. Very bright clean and comfy. We appreciated the spacious parking and easy access driveway. We needed more fridge space and a quick message to the property manager and we had access to a second fridge.

Perfect home base for an event at WGI

Not our first day at this property, and definitely won't be our last. Tons of space to stretch out for a group of folks at an event at the track of the hill. Well equipped kitchen to cook for the group. Plenty of spacious bedrooms so everybody has their own space at the end of the day. Super responsive host, looking forward to booking again next year.

It was great! The rooms were spacious, and with 6 king beds everyone was happy! There was space for all to do what they wanted to do, and it was close to the amenities we needed. We were also provided with the essentials we needed (cookware, dishes, paper towels, etc)

Lovely remodeled farm house

Farm house, remodeled, very spacious all modern amenities. Fully stocked kitchen with all the basic spices. Manager is very accessibly. It's a rural setting, very close to Watkins Glens tracks, falls and all that. We were a large group and had plenty of space.

Perfect place in beautiful setting

Friends and family from all over the world met to celebrate a college graduation In Ithaca, New York. The Montour Falls home was the ideal spot for the ten of us to gather, laugh, make meals in the well appointed kitchen and enjoy the lovely surroundings. It was an easy drive to campus and so nice to come home to a place where we could all be together comfortably. It is the perfect place to reconnect with old friends and make new memories. The host, Lori, was amazing. We highly recommend.

Amazing rental for a large group

We were a group of 9 and this was a perfect spot! Close to downtown Watkins Glenn, wineries, the state park and only 20 mins from Elmira. Lori was an incredible host and helped us get in early after long drives. Home was clean and comfortable; the beds were excellent and towels super soft! The home is setup with firewood, a ton of clean towels, lots of kitchen things, pillows, blankets, etc. There were more beds than expected so everyone had their own space, and lots of bathrooms to deal with 8 women doing makeup before hitting some wineries. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Convenient lodging for the track

Large, extremely well maintained house. Incredible proximity to the racetrack. Our group of a half dozen adults were able to stay at the house in extremely comfortable accommodations, just minutes away from the front gate to WGI. So many bedrooms all equipped with king beds, everybody had privacy but we also had plenty of space to come together in the living and dining rooms. Well-appointed kitchen will allow you to cook while you're there, and a very short trip down the hill to all of the restaurants in the village of Watkins Glen. Looking forward to booking again for our event next year.

Home base for Seneca Lake wineries

I along with a group of six other women stayed at this property in November 2023. We chose it because of the number of beds and baths and its proximity to Watkins Glen. We were very happy with the size of the kitchen (as well as the large living room and two dining rooms) which made it easy for everyone to gather. There are plenty of comfortable beds and pillows. There's a lot of space for parking and the house is conveniently located to restaurants and shopping areas. In general the house is very clean. It was fall and definitely chilly, so we didn't take advantage of the outdoor seating areas or the pool. It proved to be a very good base for excursions in the area.

Fall Break family vacation

This place is amazing. Exceptionally clean and with everything you need to have fun. We used the fire pit almost every evening. Roasted marshmallows, hot dogs and made s’mores. Played games and watched movies. I grew up in Horseheads, so know the area. Although, a lot has changed. Was able to show our kids and grandkids the area. The kids where able to enjoy playing in the fall leaves, as being from Tucson AZ, they have never seen the autumn as it is there. Also, the owner is very nice. She had to fix one thing and did it immediately. I can’t think of anything that would give this a less than 5 star review.

Great stay

Our group had a lovely stay in Montour Falls and Watkins Glen in this home. There was plenty of room for 8 adults and 3 children. The basement has 2 bedrooms each with a king bed, and a 3rd bedroom with 2 king size beds and a futon. In addition, there is a living room, and one full bathroom plus one half bathroom with laundry in the basement. On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms with king beds, one with an en suite, and one additional full bathroom and one half bathroom on the first floor. Although it looks like you are in the middle of nowhere, there is plenty to do with local wineries, breweries, hiking to waterfalls, Watkins Glen State Park, shops and restaurants minutes away in Watkins Glen, and The Yard which is within walking distance to the house and has putt-putt, go karts, and yard games like corn hole, oversized battleship, connect four, a bar for drinks and more! It was incredibly hot the week we stayed (in the 90's), but our group was comfortably cool in the house which has multiple AC units and fans. Lori was very responsive and helpful with any concerns we had. We would definitely stay here again!

STAY HERE, YOU WILL HAVE NO REGRETS!!!

Just want to say how much we enjoyed our stay at this home. The owner, Lori, was easily reachable for our entire stay. We arrived & the A/C in the master was not working, my hubby looked at it & I texted Lori about it. They were going to buy a new unit & bring it right over, however, my son checked it out and it began running properly. The beds & pillows were fresh, clean, comfortable .We were in NY for a family event and we needed to break down a substantial floral order & they had ( not 1, but 2!!) dining room tables(Farmhouse size, easily fits12 people at each) to choose from. The kitchen is huge, HUGE!! Many cabinets all fill of anything one could ever wish for & then some. The pantry was stocked with so many sundries. There was a very large upstairs family room with fireplace & an even bigger family room downstairs. SO many bedrooms, with all king size beds & so many bathrooms! The bathrooms each had their own heaters built into ceiling vent if you are the chilly type when you get out of the shower.) The upstairs Family Room was amply stocked with all age groups of games/toys. The outdoor pool was very large for an above ground & at least 4 ' deep & a shed full of pool toys, football, cornhole games & firepit. To my delight, there was a coffee bar, stocked with fresh coffee, filters & flavorings. My extended family came over & have claimed this rental for future visits to NY!! We will def fight over who gets this one JUST STAY HERE,YOU WILL HAVE NO REGRETS!!!

Great time with friends and their kids!

We had a fantastic time staying at this property with friends and their families for new years ! We explored the Watkins Glen south tim trail, ordered in from Jerlandos and had plenty of space for lots of fun and games. I really appreciated that the kitchen is very well stocked with spices as well as dishes, glasses and all kinds of cookware. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The host was wonderful and very responsive. Our group was comfortable and happy with our stay! I highly recommend this property for a group gathering.

Nice quaintly place

The house is a nice quaintly place and although close to a town, still gives a secluded feel. Well maintained and spacious. Easily good for 3-4 families with kids. Kitchen was spacious. We had a great time there with friends and family. Would strongly recommend the place to anyone who wants to stay close to Seneca Lake.
