The Coral Door | Hot Tub | Fire Pit

The Coral Door is a 1930's, newly remodeled 4 bedroom 2 bath home located just 8 blocks north of Main Street on a quiet street. The backyard is an oasis with string lights over the fire pit and hot tub (brand new as of December 2023). A beautiful place to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. There is also a large area for washer pitching and horseshoes.

There are king sized beds in 3 of the bedrooms and 2 twin beds located in the fourth bedroom. The sofa in the living room is a pull out sofa that can accommodate 2 more guests.

There is a great fully stocked kitchen for entertaining and plenty of games to enjoy!

The Coral Door is a wonderful home to host your next family reunion, girls gettogether or couples retreat. Come stay with us, and see all that our great little town has to offer and enjoy this lovely home.

AMENITIES – Flat Screen Smart TV with Apple TV, WiFi, outdoor area with a 7 person hot tub (brand new as of December 2023), string lights, outdoor games like washers & horseshoes, outdoor wood firepit, charcoal grill (charcoal not provided), washer/dryer

- Observe the City of Fredericksburg Quiet Hours (10pm to 7am in residential zones). No music of any kind after 10 pm.
- The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present to use the light.
- Observe the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces.
- Place all trash in designated containers.

Family getaway

10/10 we enjoyed our stay it had the perfect amount of rooms/beds the space was amazing it felt like we were home the entire time it had all the accessories we needed. All though the weather conditions were hot we still enjoyed the hot tub it was so relaxing after coming back from a day at the river.

Cute House!

Overall, it was a charming house close to town. The weather was not great during our stay so we could not enjoy the back yard. Only thing missing was hand towels for the kitchen. The hot tub was new and would not get warm enough but that could have been a setting issue. Other than that, it was great. Would rent again.

Perfect stay

We had a group of 7 and the house was PERFECT! Everything was as pictured (including the suspended bed). The beds were comfy (didn’t use pullout couch). The kitchen was cute & had ample supplies for us to cook breakfast, etc. The hot tub clean & fun. We couldn’t locate fire wood to use the fire pit so bring/buy if you plan to enjoy. We also enjoyed walking the neighborhood for exercise and it was beautiful and safe.

Spotless! Roomy! Great location!

We attended a family wedding nearby and could not have picked a better "home" for the weekend! If you are thinking about reserving at The Coral Door, just do it! It was immaculately clean, had everything you would need, including all the kitchenware and appliances, towels, wonderful bedding,soap and shampoo, hot tub, cornhole, a firepit. The location was 1 mile from all the restaurants and shops, and only 10 miles from the Signor Winery, which we enjoyed very much. This was a top notch short term rental experience!

Our group of ladies had a great stay at The Coral Door. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked. We all agreed that the only suggestion would be to put mirrors in each of the bedrooms. This would help so much when you have several ladies trying to get hair and make up done. We love Fredericksburg and would recommend The Coral Door. Until next time.

We had an amazing time! The coral door was in a great location, awesome open concept for friends, and super cute vibes. I would love to recreate the weekend and would definitely stay at this house again!

Girl's fun weekend

Great location and property. Only drawback is the lack of a bathroom on laundry room side of the house. This could be easily remedied by cutting down the laundry room and installing a half bath. Also, there was no body wash available for bathing or showering. Only hand soap at the sinks. Of course, it can be used for both, but a hassle to remember to move back and forth. I know - first world problem.

Bachelorette weekend

Communication was excellent and house was very accommodating for a group of 8 girls. My only major disappointment was the hot tub. It had a foul odor and there was grime and dirt on the inner walls. It doesn’t appear to be cleaned between guests and not sure when the last time it would have been cleaned was. This was a major draw to this property and it was so gross I didn’t get in. The girls that got in said their swim suits had a foul odor the next day.

Nice Location, pretty house, but needs a detailed cleaning

We were in town for a wedding so liked the location since we could walk to most of the event locations within about a mile of the house. Overall, I just wouldn't stay at the house again. I thought it was dirty. The kitchen was the worse. I was glad we hadn't planned to cook any meals since we would have had to wash everything ahead of time. If you open the drawers you would understand. Everything had a dirty feel, we had to wash wine glasses before using. No dishwasher soap in kitchen. Master bath shower had mold growing in corners. Just really needs a detailed cleaning. Another annoying thing, there was not one hanger in the entire house. Since we were attending a wedding with a number of events we ended up having to go get hangers to hang up our dress clothes.

Everything was great. The only issue was that the hot tub took 2 days to heat up to a reasonable temperature. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate you accommodating us on a 12pm checkout.

Amazing house!

This house is the cutest! It was an excellent choice for my sister’s bachelorette weekend in Fredericksburg! The house was very clean and cozy! The host sent multiple emails about the stay, how to get in the house, etc! No question was left unanswered! We hope to be back soon!

Great space for a get away with the girls

We had 7 people for a Bachelorette 4 day weekend. The house had plenty of room for all to sleep comfortable and the swing bed was a huge hit. The house was fully stocked and beautiful. We really appreciated the personal note to the bride on the chalk wall. Would love to stay here again as it is accessible to everything in town.
