Indulge in tranquility and style at our serene country retreat. Peaceful rural views with privacy, complemented by our dedicated full-time onsite caretaker for your convenience. Situated on the train line to Eden Park, and close to West Coast beaches, Northwest Shopping Centre, Trust stadium and Kumeu Showgrounds. Discover nearby attractions like the Waitakere BMX Club and Waitakere Golf Club. A 25-minute drive to the Auckland CBD. Unwind, relax and explore from this delightful haven.
Enjoy the picturesque view of sheep grazing in the paddocks while soaking up the afternoon sun in the outdoor Bath.
We reside on the same property, we're readily available to assist with any local knowledge. Please note that for security purposes, we'll be checking photo ID and recording car registrations on arrival.
We have cameras in place on the driveway. Please be aware that parties or large gatherings are NOT permitted. Your comfort and security are our top priorities.

Great stay but the owner?

The place is amazing, beautiful and clean but not worth the strict owner. Initially when I booked, it was for 5 adults however one was still on the fence whether or not she would come so I changed to 4 adults and the price remained the same so I assumed that it didn’t make a diffeference as long as it wasn’t over five people. We arrived late around 9pm - I had communicated with the owner (Dianna) and she seemed annoyed that we were arriving at a late time and to notify her when we would arrive when all along, there was a lock box where she could’ve just instructed us on where to find it. There were 5 of us upon check in and Dianna chose to address the issue infront of all of us, I admitted it was my mistake that I had misinterpreted the “up to 5 people” and it was alright I’ll just pay for the extra person but she kept repeating “I thought there was only 4, should only be 4, you need to pay extra for the extra person” - she later chose to let it slide cause the next night, it would only be 2 people staying there. She then says she’ll give us a tour, we just wanted to unload our things from the car but she insisted we all get the tour, as if we didn’t know how to open doors or figure out what a bathroom looked like. We arrived late, it was my wedding the next day and we got a rude welcoming. I read a comment upon booking that the owner is strict but I didn’t think it was that bad. She ruined the vibe for the night. Imo - not worth it.

Excellent property

Beautiful place. House was immaculate. We had a late check in and Diana welcomed us and made sure we were comfortable. You have everything you need in the property. It was quite cold during our stay but the home was warm. Set on a beautiful property it was a relaxing environment as well. Still close to shops and everything you need. It exceeded our expectations.

Invasion Of Privacy

Was a beautiful home, beautiful scenery but would never stay again. Checking in was somewhat okay, they left the house unlocked and said they would come meet us the next morning. No time or any communication given after that, even when i messaged the next morning asking when they where coming to meet us as we wanted to make ourselves comfortable and go out. Was not impressed to go out to the shops and come back to the house to find a cleaner, caretaker, the husband and wife walking through the house on day two. The excuse was to show the new cleaner around the house but they could have had the decency to wait till we had checked out to do so or given me some sort of communication about that. Said they didnt have there phones on them to message me and found out they were up the hill anyways so had seen us leave the property. That gave us an uncomfortable feeling. Would not recommend.

Peaceful Retreat

A beautifully designed modern home with farmhouse feel. This was the perfect home for my family after traveling from the US and touching down on Auckland. The property sits on 5 acres of rolling hills with sheep, a pond, and local plants / bush. So peaceful and pleasant. It’s a great location - away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough to shopping centers at Westgate for groceries and any essentials needed for your trip. Also, not too far from the coast with beautiful Piha and Bethels beach within a short 30 min - 1 hr drive. 👍
