Property is great, Evolve is not
I won't book a property thats managed by Evolve again. I had been asking for months for them to provide me with what the kitchen was stocked with, as I was staying over Thanksgiving and needed to know what to bring. After 2 months, the response was "everything". I asked them to clarify, never responded and the kitchen definitely did not have everything. When I arrived I found out the heat for the main bedroom didn't work. I called my guest contact who answered, and asked if a space heater would suffice. I agreed and they quickly arrived, with a heater where the entire front was covered in melting plastic. They assured me it would be fine. When we attempted to use it, the plastic starting melting further producing noxious fumes. The heat from downstairs was enough to keep the bedroom at a good temp so we didn't need it anyway. The house itself is so cute and cozy, the decor was modern and I loved it. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean, towels and sheets smelled really good also. Towels were also plentiful with ones for bathroom and for jacuzzi. The main bed was SO comfortable. But the rest of the house was dusty and hadn't been cleaned very well, stairs were inches thick with dust. Rug in living room very dirty as was couch. We tried to clean it ourselves but the vacuum didn't work. This was upsetting because I paid a large cleaning fee upfront. There was also a list for checkout that included stripping the bed etc. I would not have cared at all about this, except that I had paid such a large cleaning fee I didn't feel like I should've had to do anything. The jacuzzi worked but the water level was too low to use the jets. When you turned the jets on, water shot out everywhere. Also I was told that the cameras don't face the jacuzzi and wouldn't record us. That was not the case. We brought a fire stick with us, good thing because they had 4 remotes and none of them worked. Overall we had a fantastic trip , the only issues we had were with Evolve and their lack of attention to almost anything. I would've given less stars but I really did love the property. From now on I will make sure to book a property that is NOT managed by Evolve.
