This cozy cottage-style three-bedroom Roads End home offers spectacular ocean views and is a short two blocks from miles of sandy beach! The open floor plan makes this home very comfortable for all! Featuring three bedrooms and a bonus room. On the lower level, you'll find a queen bedroom and the bonus/TV room. Upstairs are two King Primaries, one equipped with a twin-day bed perfect for relaxation or for children.

A large ocean view deck is great to host friends and family. Enjoy the sounds of the ocean on the deck. Everyone will love taking the path down to the rolling surf at Roads End State Park. The rental was clean and looked like the pictures. Cozy and close to the beach. The only downside was some things (bathroom vent, thermostat) were broken and other appliances (washing machine, oven) kind of worked but were difficult to use. Other than that we were happy with our stay.

Fun 27th birthday celebration!

We had a great time at the cabin and the beach! A few items were in disrepair, but it's a beach house and expected. We'll be back in the future!

Perfect escape

We chose Roads End to celebrate a university graduate and we're very pleased. The area was quiet with wildlife and ocean views. The hot tub was perfect for soaking after long sandy walks on the beach. We'd definitely stay again and highly recommend to others.

Casino Convenient

Great property. Exactly as advertised. Only a few minutes drive to the casino. Best part was waking to and watching the surf from the upstairs bedrooms.

Lovely place to get away

The location was clean and well kept, check out requirements were reasonable. Our only issue was that it was a bit too cold everywhere in the house even with the heat on. Check in at 4 is late in the day to be arriving. Check out at 10 is too early to enjoy the morning with the hour it takes to clean. I get the house needs to be turned over for the next first but it made for a rushed last dayup

Other than the heater not working, oven not turning on, and the hot tub not turned on, it was a great beautiful stay. Lots of upgrades on the outside. Caution when using the kitchen sink, it comes out hard and fast making a mess on the counters. The fireplace was nice to sit by while watching the waves.

We made the house work for us but the whole house needs a lot of maintenance. The windows needed repairs to the screens and at least one window needed a whole new screen. There was sand on a couple of the beds in the sheets. The house has charm and is in a great location but just needs a lot of upkeep.

The house is cute. The rugs, shower curtain and other items are very worn need to be replaced.

The home has beautiful views. The home was clean and could use a few items that are ragged could be updated. We were 6 older ladies and the rugs were a tripping hazard. The chandelier is not over the table and several ladies hit their head on it. It could use a hook and swagged over the table. The check in process was simple and we had no issues.

Misleading

The house was tidy but very grimey. It stunk, It was very dusty, the carpets were filthy, the doors and walls were dirty, the window seals were dirty and moldy, I could not stream for the first night of my stay, the pillows were stained and did not have pillow protectors on them just a thin pillow case,TVs had parental codes. The couches were dusty fabric instead of the leather sofaā€™s displayed in the photos. The location was nice as well as the view, plenty of natural light, the hot tub is the highlight of the stay.

I really liked this house and location. The space was a perfect fit for our group of seven adults! The unfortunate part of our stay is that there is NOT a hot tub at this property as stated (and shown) in the online listing. That feature was definitely a big deciding factor in selecting this house. To add insult to injury there was still a sign posted on the wall for ā€œhot tub rulesā€. :-( We also had issues with the oven heating up, and the front porch light kept burning out. Maybe an electrical or wiring issue to be looked at?

The house seemed nice but once inside, things seemed old and dirty. The rug in the seating area was long knotted fabric which was dusty and held who knows what, would not let my bare feet touch it. Kitchen was surface clean but felt like I needed to wash before it was used, oven did NOT work, had a counter top oven/air fryer but cord was too short to reach an outlet so we had to move stuff off the counter to make space to plug it in. Filter for fridge water was old and needed replacing and one of the towels put out in the kitchen was all stained!!!Bedrooms were fine, bathrooms semi ok, they could use some caulk redo and cleaning in the corners of the floors. Also the screen in the upstairs bath was broken out. The whole house was too small and broken up, could not pass another person walking the same direction or maneuvering around large wall art. TV was in another room, also small, off the small living area.

Nice relaxing stay.

Pros: Location had an ocean view. We watched whales every evening from the deck. View from bedrooms was even better. Nice large deck with BBQ grill and tables for outdoor dining as well as an outdoor sitting area protected from the wind. 5 minute walk or less to beach access. Overall, well appointed. The fireplace made for a cozy evening when the sun went down. A new hot tub was installed the day before we left. We didnā€™t get to use it, but it will be nice for the next renters. Cons: No shower liner in the upstairs shower, just a cloth decorative curtain . Notified management and they said they placed a work order to have one delivered, but it never came. When we used the garbage disposal the food backed up into the downstairs shower. Seemed to rinse back down ok, but was a surprise. Pillow missing from one of the king beds, we had to scrounge from other rooms. Overall, a charming beach house. We enjoyed our stay.

The house was as expected. Clean rooms and ample space. The house had a beautiful view of the ocean. It was very peaceful to watch the water when the weather did not permit us outside. There were a few things that did not work, The oven did not work. It burnt two of our meals and set off the fire alarms. We finished the dinners in the microwave. We could not get the outside roll down curtains to work. A few of the lights also flickered or stopped working. One thing that would make this place an even better get away is a tv in the living room. There was one in a small game room but it does not fit the whole family and you feel secluded from the rest. The game room is a great spot for kids movies and gaming but not for a whole family to watch something, I think it would greatly improve the experience if there was a small one above the fire place. The hot tub worked great and the exit list was easy to follow. All in all a great experience .
