Esta casa de dos pisos se encuentra en el popular distrito Roads End de Lincoln City. Estás a menos de cinco minutos del Casino Chinook Winds, donde puedes ver un concierto o ver una buena racha con tus amigos. El acceso a la playa está a solo dos cuadras de la calle, y si prefiere quedarse solo, puede ver toda la costa de Lincoln City desde esta hermosa casa de vacaciones. Calypso tiene tres dormitorios y dos baños. Ambos baños tienen una ducha a ras de suelo. Esta casa ofrece cable, un reproductor de DVD y Wi-Fi. It had great ocean views. You can hear the surf even if you are a couple of blocks away.Great layout. Plenty of room to spread out, rest relax and enjoy tv or walks on the beach.

Great beach getaway

The location is fabulous! Roads End is a great little beach and getting down to the shore was quick and easy. The house was clean and comfortable, although the ladder to the loft is a bit cumbersome to walk around. We didn’t use any of the sand toys since we did t have kids but it was nice to see so many toys available to use. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable Beach House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A kitchen with the utensils a cook will appreciate. Furniture and floors a bit worn and tired but overall a comfortable relaxing beach house.

Sisters getaway

This was a great house to stay at with plenty of beds for 4 people. The kitchen was very well supplied, the best I’ve seen. We were lacking nothing. It has a beautiful view of the ocean and is very close to shopping. We enjoyed watching deer wander through the neighborhood. We did need to contact management and they were very prompt to reply and take care of our need.

Family Get Away

Cozy house in a great location!! The beds are all functional but could definitely stand to have new mattresses. Kitchen is stocked but needs some new pans. The home just needs some TLC. The best thing about this house is its location and good layout. Be aware that the loft in the pictures is off limits.

Lovely house

The house was cute, the view from the house is amazing. Nice quiet area, the only negative thing i have to say is please check your fire extinguisher, it went off by itself. My sister walked by it and it sprayed her and everything in the house. But over all, i would book this house again:)

Ok for last minute stay

Property was ok, cleaniness could've been a little better. The fridge did start to leak towards the back, like it was defrosting. Also the ladder going to the loft is fixed and not moveable, so we had to create our own little child proof barrier to keep our 19mo. old from climbing it. Other than that it was ok.

The stay was absolutely perfect! House was equipped with everything needed, beautiful ocean views. kids had fun! Love this house.

Clean house-great view

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house had a beautiful living room view and was very clean. It was plenty big for the 10 of us. We did however run into a few problems and when I called to report them the lady hung up on me. The upstairs bathroom lights didn’t work, we had to use our cellphone flashlights to see at night. The dryer did not work so we couldn’t do any laundry. I’d bring your own garbage bags because the house provided us with 1 bag. 1 bag for 10 people that stayed 3 nights and 4 days.

Rating Details: The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nice, awesome view, the kitchen was fully stocked but the house was not cleaned well, ( card that was left said it was just cleaned the day before) there were Cobb webs in the windows, dead flies, dirty blankets in the drawers, the couch needs a really good deep cleaning, walls really needed cleaning. There was a really bad odor, but was fixed when we went out and bought candles, and febreeze.

Good and bad

We had trouble finding the house. The street address was not readily visible. The house was clean except for the carpets and the couch which were badly in need of shampooing. The kitchen was well equipped, but the oven doesn’t work properly. The location of the washer and dryer was not identified ( found in the garage) and the dryer was broken.We loved the area and if the house were properly maintained by the owner, it would be a very nice place to stay .

Cockroaches…Unclean

This was the worst VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. Upon check-in, we immediately noticed a foul smell throughout the home and found a large mold outbreak in the garage. It also appeared as though the home was not cleaned, as there are spider webs throughout the window sills that have been there for a long time. The floor hadn’t been vacuumed, there were stains on the rug, and because we have a baby we had to go buy cleaning supplies and clean and vacuum. We killed 3 large spiders, and discovered cockroaches running in and out of the appliances. I am concerned that whoever is claiming to clean and/or maintain this rental is not. I have rented numerous VRBOs, and I’ve never had an experience like this. The interior needs a serious update, but the lack of cleanliness was the worst. We even had to put sheets on the couch because the stains were questionable. Definitely felt like we got “cat-fished” by the pics of the place online, because reality was a nightmare.

Worst vacation rental we have stayed in!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife and I booked this property to bring family to the Oregon Coast and this was the most filthy rental property we've ever stayed in. The cleaning staff haven't cleaned this property in a long time, all the furniture and decor around the house are covered in dust, stains on the furniture, every surface inside the home needed to be cleaned and the back yard is a jungle and hasn't had any yard maintenance just to name a few of the issues. This home should not be in the rental pool at all. We tried to get a partial refund for our stay and they wanted us to sign a waiver to NOT leave an honest review. So they are aware of these ongoing issues and don't care. DO NOT rent from this filthy property or this company in general.

Pass on this one.

Full disclosure, I did contact management upon arrival and they offered to send housekeeping over again. I said no, as I was already in the home, it had been a long day and I didn’t want to inconvenience anyone at 4:55. I should have inconvenienced them. So let’s start with the good because that won’t take long. This house is in a good location with a good view. There was a prior review about cockroaches - we never saw evidence of that. We asked management about that and did not receive a response during our three night stay. This house could be great, but it needs some serious maintenance. Well, no, it needs to be gutted and remodeled. Walking up to the home, after a long day of driving, we were met with loose trash on the porch. Okay, the wind could have blown that in. Walking into the house the artificial canned air freshener hits you with an underlying smell we figured out the next day. We immediately opened what windows we could. I opened the cabinet under the sink looking for the garbage and was met with spilled food next to the can. I next walked into the upstairs bathroom and the overhead light wouldn’t come on. Found out if you leave the switch in the on position the light will come on after about ten minutes. Brushing my teeth in the evening I discovered the sink doesn’t drain. Taking a shower in the morning the shower door has been tweaked and not fixed that it was a good thing I accidentally put two towels down in front of the door as they were completely soaked when I stepped out. When we woke up in the morning walking into the kitchen a smell hits you. My wife looked at me and said, “ I know what the smell is that they are trying to cover up.” Most rentals ask that guests not boil their crab in the homes. The smell is shell fish. It has permeated the house. So the smell is “Hawaiian breeze” & shell fish. There is soooo much more but I maxed the word count. If nothing else it needs a SERIOUS deep clean to make it considered a decent place to stay.

The location is great and has such a great ocean view. Check in was quick and easy. Management responds quickly. However, I DONT recommend this place. 1. Very old broken and stained furniture. 2. Poor housekeeping. Socks and garbage under the beds, used water bottles left in the home. Furniture not properly cleaned and there was dog hair when the property is pet free. 3. Cockroaches coming from the microwave and cabinets. This is unacceptable. When we reached out to the management they only gave us a spray to spray them of if we saw more coming out. The person from maintenance said he didn’t know what those “insect” were and he just took off. 4. The bathroom light was not working. The door on the shower was broken. The beds are very uncomfortable, there was lots of garbage and dirt behind the couch. I didn’t have a good experience. There are much better houses around. Don’t waist your money. Trust the reviews!!! Not renting again.

Reviewer Comments: We have been to Calypso five years in a row and this was the first year we were disappointed. The house is getting run-down and seems to be neglected. The walls were dirty, the rugs were stained, the garage was a disaster, the lights didn’t work in the garage to see to do laundry, the dryer squealed like a stuck pig when it ran. We won’t be staying here again. A sad ending to our family favorite vacation spot. It’s no longer worth the money we invest to stay there.
