Great location to chill and enjoy the wonders of the White Mountains. Keeping an outdoor living area so close to the water takes daily maintenance, once a broom was brought we were able to make the porch livable and we were able to sit back and watch all the wildlife come by. It was hard to ignore the road noise, unfortunately, and all we caught in the little rainbow lake was catfish.

This home was as advertised and more. It was perfect for our family of 6. The game room in the front was perfect for when it was raining, and the small pond in the back was great fishing for beginners with some catfish, sunfish, and some big carp. Everyone was able to get on some fish right off the little pier. Rainbow Lake is also a 5 minute walk from the house, but the fishing was so much fun at the house that we fished there when we were at the house. We were able to check out a few other Lakes and hikes within a 20 minute drives as well. They have two patios with a fire pit on one and grills on both. We spent most of our time on the patios during the day or night as it was a such great place to relax. We wereable to see muskrats (like beavers), squirrels, and all types of birds.A big plus was how dog friendly they made the outside area even for smaller dogs. There's a restaurant right across the pond that is also dog friendly with a great patio and some good bar food. My family agrees that we will be back again. Side note: We found out that we left our fishing poles at the home and didn't realize it until many hours later. Reached out to them and got a call back from the owners within 5 minutes. We made arrangements to get them back as quickly as possible.

Beautiful home. Peaceful outside besides the road being right next to the house. The beds are soooo comfortable!! Slept great. A lot, i mean A LOT of bugs at night on the patios. Was hard to enjoy at night. Maybe a bug zapper for each patio is definitely necessary. Also states dog friendly but when entering, there are notes w no dogs allowed on furniture. (Which is understandable but, the listing should state that as well) Definitely bring a lint roller. Had a wonderful time besides the bug issue. Would maybe stay again if bug zappers are on patios.

Great little cabin

Great layout of cabin, feels bigger than actual square footage. Lots of patio space to relax on and grill. Easy check in, would stay again. Nice little game room. Four adults and four children 17-9 years old stayed for a ski vacation.

Very relaxing vacation

The home was perfect for us, two couples, one child, one little dog. The patio was our favorite hangout. The guys loved to go fishing right at property. Also, the main lake was walking distance and great for kayaking. The layout of the house is perfect for a family get together. The playroom was great for our 13 year old grandson. Lots of games and videos available for additional entertainment.

Relaxing Getaway

This was one of the best vacation rentals I’ve ever stayed in. The house was immaculate, located right on a small pond in a quiet neighborhood. The house had all the amenities we could have wanted and the outdoor space was awesome!! This place was even better than what I had expected. We will absolutely be back!!

Lakeviews and a convenient location

Our family of 4 had an amazing stay. The cabin was fully stocked and packed a wonderful surprise of two amazing patios with lake views. The place also was in a gated community so it felt secure, but also had an easy walk over to Rainbow Lake. Everywhere we went was short of 10 mins away. Thank you to the host for the provided snacks and dvd selection. The gameroom was also a huge bonus for the kids. My recommendations, watch your step on the slope/ramp into the house (was a tad slippery).

Love Those Ponderosa Pines

We enjoyed our getaway to cooler temperatures from Tucson. If you are into birding, we found 25 species right from the back deck. If you are going for solitude there is a lot of car noise right next to the house. We were able to tune it out because we loved the environment. My wife and dog enjoyed fishing from the dock....mostly caught catfish. For an awesome Ponderosa Pine hike we suggest going to Woodland Lake park just 3 miles away. The house was nice and clean, but not sure why the cameras on the deck are needed when guests are renting.

Week on the pond

Loved the location and used both the wonderful decks daily. Everything was clean. Just needs a few things for long term stays, more hand towels for the bathroom s, bath mats, and only had one little kitchen towel. Also more drinking glasses.

Our getaway

The pictures don’t do it justice. The cabin is very inviting and very clean. You feel right at home. We relaxed on the decks and my husband fished off the pier and caught 25 fish in one hour. We will come back. Wonderful experience.

Pinetop-Lakeside birthday trip '25

This was our family trip for my birthday. The boys enjoyed the game room and everyone spent time relaxing on both decks overlooking the water. The beds were very comfortable, but for us, the modern furniture in the living room was not. Maybe just a matter of our taste/ preference. The location seemed to be centered for the shopping in ShowLow and those in Pinetop so I found it easy to get around. We love the Pinetop area so would definitely consider staying again.

Beautiful house is a convenient location for fun on Rainbow Lake

The house is exactly as it appears in the picture. It was easy to find, and the check-in instructions were easy to follow. We had trouble using the key pad but were able to contact the property manager to access the house key (in a lock box) which we had to use for our entire stay. Otherwise we had no issues. The setup was perfect for our family of four and very close to Rainbow lake where we were able to rent boats and canoes for a really great time on the water. The house has two beautiful decks overlooking water. It's close to a busy road, but there was not too much noise and, because the house is at the end, there were no neighbors on the other side so it felt very private. All in all we had a wonderful time.

The house was beautiful! Just as described online and shown in pictures. The location is perfect for fishing, right on the water and the little dock is right in the backyard. My kids had so much fun! The house is dog friendly and the porch is enclosed so that was a major plus. Luckily the house is close to all the stores you need, we did have to go the first night to get some basic cleaning supplies and toiletries. We did have to wash blankets the first day- sheets were questionably clean but the comforters on top and in closets were not. Also, check in was rough, we were locked out and we're unable to get a hold of the manager Mira. Evolve was very helpful though and helped us to get in After a while. Although our trip started out rough the house/trip overall was a wonderful, peaceful paradise would recommend.

Mixed Review

Here comes the good and not so good......The cabin itself was comfortable and very clean. We loved both of the decks (comfortable outdoor furniture and 2 bbq's). The microwave quit working 1 day after we got there. The response was quick when I called to report it but there was no other communication from any representatives. Thus, no microwave for our stay. The dishwasher is extremely loud and sounded like it might need to be replaced also. If you are looking for a woodsy setting, this cabin is not for you. The neighborhood was lovely but did not have that much of a mountain feel. There is an abundance of street noise as the cabin is located very close to White Mountain Blvd. Our son and I loved fishing off of the pond. Here's a fishing hint, use hotdogs to catch catfish. The home is handicap accessible and we found that a plus.
