Desert Retreat

We had an amazing stay at the Casita! Perfect location for all of our Tucson activities. Quiet location, but minutes to everything you need. Karen was amazing and would definitely rent here again. Don’t hesitate to rent here!

Perhaps the best place I've stayed

This place has everything. Laundry, a kitchen with cookware and plates, and even a book of directions to nearby restaurants and shops. It's quiet and peaceful, morning coffee sitting on the patio watching birds and critters is perhaps as busy as it gets. I was the first guest. Promised to write a review and couldn't find my way back to this listing. I'm happy to finally do that.

A break from winter

This casita is conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood with very easy access to other parts of Tucson. The lodging is of excellent size for one person or a couple. Karen, the host, has the place very nicely furnished, clean with a comfortable bed. We would definitely stay here again if or when we are in Tucson again.

Tucson Casita 2024

Enjoyed our stay. Host Karen was very helpful and accessible. Area was away from city hustle and bustle and close to parks for hiking/walking, which we value. Road noise on the busy highway was annoying at times.

Perfect Place

This property is beautiful and peaceful! The casita is lovely and equipped well with quality bedding, furniture and utensils. I loved my stay! Karen is quick to respond and very helpful. The location is ideal for exploration of the western Tucson area although the eastern part is easily seen as well. I highly recommend staying here and I hope to return again.

Peaceful getaway

Our stay at the Casita was peaceful with fantastic sunrises and sunsets. It's conveniently located off of the Catalina Hwy for easy access to Mt. Lemmon (the focal point of our trip). The Casita was clean, charming, and well stocked with everything you'd need to make meals and coffee/tea. Our host was warm, friendly, and easy to communicate with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wished we could have planned a longer stay; hopefully next time!

Lovely Getaway for a Couple

We enjoyed our stay in this charming and immaculate casita. It is in a secluded area yet close to many stores and restaurants. The well appointed kitchen, comfortable sitting area and nice little patio made it a delight to come home to after a day of biking and hiking. I also appreciated the excellent communication with the host since she was readily available if I had any questions or needed any suggestions. I would highly recommend staying in this casita.

Wonderful little casita!

This lovely home has everything you could possibly think of! We cooked every meal for 3 days and never lacked a utensil! The towels were luxurious and the washer and dryer were so helpful! Communication with the owner was fast and easy. The property was clean and beautifully decorated. Our only complaint was the bed: VERY hard and difficult to sleep comfortably. Also, we are joggers and we had to drive to a location to get our runs in because the home is on a busy, dark highway.

This Casita Exceeds Expectations

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this casita. It was bigger than we were expecting, spotlessly clean, the furniture and bed were comfortable, the kitchen was well supplied and Karen, the host was outstanding. Karen was always quick to answer our questions and could not have been more helpful. We were in Tucson for a hiking vacation and the casita close to Sabino Canyon, Saguaro NP East and Mount Lemmon. Saguaro NP West and the Arizona-Sonora Dessert Museum were an easy drive from the casita. We loved eating dinner on the patio where we saw quail, jack rabbits and road runners. The patio had beautiful sunsets which turned into great night time star gazing.

The perfect little place

I really enjoyed my stay at The Casita. It had everything I needed and was conveniently located to all of the things I was visiting Tucson for. The property owner was always available by text and communication was never an issue. Check-in and out couldn't get any easier. I will DEFINITELY stay here again next time I am in Tucson!!
