3- minute walk to Private Lifeguarded Beach

Enjoy this beautiful home with a private 1/2 acre yard and plenty of off-street parking! A three minute walk to the private, lifeguarded Middlesex Beach. After you get used to the uncrowded beach, you will never want to go to a public beach again!!! Middlesex Beach has beautiful sand, award winning lifeguards, no crowds, and alcohol is permitted!! Surf Fishing is allowed before 10am and after 5pm.

This 7 year old house with recent addition is available for a Saturday to Saturday rental and is just a short block and a half to the beach. The house has a newly added large screen porch with table and conversational seating.

Enjoy the WIFI throughout the house. Relax in the living room with a large flat screen TV, blue ray DVD player and a queen pull-out sofa.

Middlesex Beach is comprised of dead end streets, so there is no thru traffic. This allows for a nice enjoyable community perfect for taking walks or letting the kids take bike rides.

Middlesex Beach is a private beach so a beach tag is provided and required to enjoy the beach. The Beach tag only allows for 22 people to be on the beach at a time.

There are plenty of attractions within walking distance (Cottage Cafe Restaurant, The Boathouse Bar, Pizzeria, Ice Cream, McDonald's, Chinese Food, Subway, Fins Restaurant , Dunkin Donuts, Liquor Store, Walgreens, etc) and the Bethany Beach Boardwalk is just a short bike ride away. Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach and Ocean City, MD are also just short drives away.

Excellent location and access to a low-traffic part of the beach. The property had lots of gathering spaces for conversations, eating, and playing games. The game room in the basement was tons of fun.

our golf group had a fantastic time. the house had plenty of room for 10 players. we especially enjoyed the variety of games in the garage. we only encountered a couple minor problems but Sean was very responsive to correcting them.it was an enjoyable trip, the golf courses were great, a bit expensive but well worth the experience. all in all, I wouldn't hesitate to use Sean's home in the future.

Perfect for a large family group!

This home met our needs so well! We had our extended family ranging in age from 11 months to 87 years! Comfy beds, lots of room, fully stocked kitchen, private beach! Highly recommend!

Amazing, well equipped home

Our group had such an amazing time staying at this home. There was enough space for all to have comfortable sleeping arrangements, and there was plenty of fun games for us to enjoy. I highly recommend this home for any large energetic groups.

Another great Middlesex Beach vacation!

This is our third summer staying a week in this home in Middlesex Beach. Sean is a very accommodating host and the house is always clean. Proximity to the beach is great- it is about 200yds away from the house. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood that is great for walks, family bike rides, etc. Highly recommend!

Great time in Bethany Beach

This property fit the needs of our large family with enough bedrooms for all. The game room was a big hit and the short walk to the beach was just what we were hoping for. The house was well stocked and we appreciated the bikes and chairs available for beach use. Everything was clean and well maintained.

A Perfect Getaway!

Our stay at Sean and Dana's house was fantastic! The place was spotlessly clean, and everything we needed was provided. It easily accommodated our group with ample space to move around. Sean and Dana were incredibly responsive and pleasant to communicate with, addressing all our questions promptly. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. Amazing beach vacation!

We stayed here with two families and additional friends, and the house was perfect! Great location, lots of space, three masters, two kitchens, a big screened-in porch and deck, and the incredible game room! The house is well-equipped and even has extra bikes, beach chairs, and tons of games. Sean is very responsive and easy to reach. We have already booked for next year!!

Family Reunion At Middlesex Beach

Great spot for lots of extended family to stay and visit from other nearby properties. We’ll equipped kitchens and shed with beach essentials, and lots of space to spread out. Once we swept the back patio and got rid of spiderwebs on the furniture, this became a pleasant shaded hangout in the afternoon. Grills we’re not clean, so we didn’t use them.

Another great stay in Middlesex Beach!

This was our second family trip with a large group to Sean's home in Middlesex Beach, DE (between Bethany Beach & South Bethany). The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood that is a 3 minute walk from a private (NON CROWDED) beach. The neighborhood itself is perfect for bike riding with kids, morning/evening walks, etc. The house is clean, roomy, and big enough that our group never felt cramped. Sean is one of the best property owners we've come across in terms of communication and ease of rental. We highly recommend this home for a larger family vacation, groups, etc, and we have already booked our trip for 2024.

Great Family Vacation

Our family vacation was June 29-July 6. We had previously vactioned in Bethany Beach for 25 summers, but our tradition ended when our children were in college and then starting their careers and their families. We have happily revived the Bethany vacation traditon and this home was perfect for our group of 18 including 10 adults and 8 children aged 7 mos to 9 years. The home was clean and tidy. The three levels provided separation when needed but the common areas were spacious enough for our entire family, the screened porch and sunny deck provided ample outdoor spaces and the game room was perfect for the kids. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and there are plenty of plates and silverware for large family meals. The downstairs kitchenette provided a much needed second refridgerator. This home has an ideal location - close to the private access-controlled beach and an easy drive or healthy walk to the boardwalk. Owners answered questions promptly and the check in process was easy. We hope to stay in this home again for our future Bethany vacations and watch our grandchildren build thier own Bethany Beach memories.

Thanksgiving Loveliness

This house is truly a gem. We enjoyed every part of it. It is spacious, and open but you will not feel separated. If you like the pictures attached to the advertisement trust me, you will love the property when you arrive. The pictures cannot show the awe factors. It was 18 of us and none of us slept on the pullout sofa’s. We did turn the twin bedroom to a King bedroom by putting the beds together with the king mattress pad and you couldn’t tell the difference. The bunk room works well if you have a few teenagers. The only negative, the cleaning person is not that great. We were a little prepared for that. We purchased our own sheets and cleaning supplies to clean our areas. The property agent Sean is great. He is very responsive if you have questions. You cannot go wrong with this property. It is directly across the street from the beach. Even though we were at the house for Thanksgiving we did visit the beach which is beautiful I must say.

We purchased this property in hopes of retiring at the beach once our children have grown. The house is perfect for us. Every other beach house we looked at seemed to sit right on top of the neighbors. We love that this house is so close to the beach and yet sits on a private lot with lots of land that the kids can run around and play without bothering neighbors. We love the idea of a private beach with no crowds and how close the house is to the beach. Our main priority was being able to walk to the beach. Being able to walk to multiple restaurants, bars, McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, Ice Cream and so much more was an added benefit. Also, we love the private community with dead-end streets. We feel it is safe to let the children ride their bikes with out worrying about rushing commuters.
We are so excited about enjoying many fun-filled vacations at this house and we hope that your family will enjoy it too!!
