The house is very spacious and peaceful. We really appreciated how quiet it was — perfect for a relaxing stay!
What a wonderful weekend getaway with a bunch of friends. House was huge and fitted our group of 7 perfectly. We loved the fire, acreage and the daily visits from the kangaroos. Everything you needed was provided. Maggie is an amazing host.

About the host
Hosted by Margie Davies
We moved to Stanthorpe, the heart of Queensland's best high altitude wine country. Bought a business, brought up our 3 beautiful children. A few years ago the last one left the nest and we decided to share our home with other people!
Why they chose this property
We love the fresh country air, closeness to national parks and the best cellar doors on the Granite Belt. An added bonus is the abundance of native wildlife. You'll see kangaroos grazing off the deck, ducks, cockatoos, rosellas and sometimes eagles soaring overhead.
What makes this property unique
Our home is set on 125 acres and at an altitude of 1020m above sea level there's always a cool breeze, even in Summer. This is a comfy modern country home. No farm animals but all the comforts of city life on 125 acres with a great view and a cosy wood fire!
