Munds Park is about 19 miles south of Flagstaff and 39 miles to Sedona. The cabin is across the street from Coconino national forest with a deck view of the forest and wild animals. You can cook, bake or grill, all spices and condiments are supplied. There are plenty of linens, blankets and towels. In winter, there is an abundance of snow along with 3 all-season fireplaces for warmth and ambiance. There is a large walk-around upper deck that wraps around from the front to the back of the cabin for an awesome view of the Coconino National Forest.
Both upstairs and downstairs bedrooms are large with king-size beds and private bathrooms. The downstairs bedroom has a leather queen-size sofa-bed and a fireplace. The dining room table has six chairs. The third bedroom has a bunk bed that sleeps two adults, a remote dvd/radio player and an electric all season fireplace.

Dave and Rebecca Stanke purchased this House in 2006
Why Dave and Rebecca Stanke chose Munds Park
We purchased this property because of the outdoor living on the huge deck and how close we are to the trails.
What makes this House unique
Forest trails are just a few minutes away. There is a very nice community park, fishing hole and family church. Munds Park is in between Sedona or Flagstaff.

The cabin was wonderful. The kitchen is beautiful!
It was overall a very good experience! We really enjoyed the tables with the fire pit! The cabin was clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend this to anyone!
Great location and setup. Great trail rides for side by sides. Enjoyed a long weekend celebrating our daughter’s 16th birthday. Perfect house for parents on one floor and teens on another. Rebecca and Dave were a pleasure to deal with. A+
Beautiful house, quiet neighborhood, perfect location for a get away
The house is beautiful and perfect for a family stay. Not too far from Flagstaff, access to beautiful hiking trails, and a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The deck was perfect for outside dining and s'more roasting. We saw deer wandering down the street one morning - our kids loved it! We will definitely stay in this location again.
Very nice, clean cabin. All around good accommodations. We loved the large wrap around deck, even though it rained every night. Comfortable. My youngest daughter said it felt like home the moment we walked in. Nice neighborhood close to hiking trails. We didn't find any nearby stores, so I'm glad we packed all our own food. Kitchen was well stocked, including a coffee maker. We had a great time with our 4 children (ages 7-10) and recommend the rental.
Beautiful cabin both inside and out and nestled perfectly away from the city
My family of five stayed in this home and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We went over the New Years for a few days to play in the snow. Not only did we spend hours and hours each day outside, but there was a hill within walking distance for us to sled down. This was our first trip to the snow with our kids and the cabin provided the perfect hideaway. It is close enough to Flagstaff for a day trip but far enough away to enjoy feeling like you are nowhere near the city life. I would highly recommend using this cabin if you are planning a trip. The owners are very kind and helpful and were quick to respond to every question we had. It definitely makes the trip better when you have great people letting you stay in their home. Looking forward to our next trip to Munds Park!
We went with 2 families of 4 and had a GREAT time. Great location, clean house, great set up and so much to do in the area!!
ATV Trails for summer fun. The Az Snowbowl for winter fun, Sedona, Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon are all popular sites nearby. There are the dormant volcanoes at Sunset Crater National Monument, the Indian ruins at Wupatki and Walnut Canyon, Meteor Crater (the worlds largest), Oak Creeks red rock canyons and Monument Valley, The San Francisco Peaks, Aspen forests sport bright yellow colors in the fall and wild flowers each spring, the Lowell Observatory, and of course the Grand Canyon. Plan your next family vacation driving quads into Sedona and to Oak Creek Canyon.
