Three bedrooms and two bathrooms will sleep six comfortably, but we will allow 8. A dog is welcome with an additional fee. We are close to Flagstaff and Sedona. Our home would be a great choice if you went to Snow Bowl.

The Deer Run Retreat house was easy to find and cozy to stay in. It was spacious with all the amenities. Mark and Libby were great hosts with very fast, informative responses and friendly to help accommodate our surprise Family Christmas getaway. I can’t wait to come back!

This house was so clean and inviting!!! The large couch open floor plan was perfect for our family of five. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials needed to cook, the bunk bed room was amazing!It was great staying here, the neighborhood was very quiet.

Great stay!

The house was incredibly clean and cozy. There wasn’t anything we didn’t need that wasn’t stocked. Lots of room, fireplace, fenced yard and big front porch. Would stay again for sure!

Munds Park Beauty

Lovely, inviting, clean, homey retreat. Comfortable beds and couch, smartly decorated for the Christmas season! Wonderful little coffee and hot chocolate bar, fenced in yard, and within a very short walking distance to a multitude of forest trails. Out of all the places we have stayed in Munds Park, this one is our favorite!

Fun weekend in the snow!

Perfect little getaway in Munds Park! Just right for my two kids and dog to escape to the snow for the weekend. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and fully stocked kitchen. Everything you need to cook whatever you want. Easy check-in/check-out process with clear instructions posted in just the right places. Thank you!!

Wonder, relaxing vacation

The property is beautiful inside and out. kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook for a large or small family. The fenced porch is wonderful to keep your fiurr babies from wondering but still get to enjoy watching the walkers. There is a trail head 2 blocks from the property so great access to the forest for walks or ATV riding.

Amazing location, Beautiful and clean home

This home has been one of the cleanest rental properties I’ve ever stayed at (it’s so clean that even my germaphobe husband felt very comfortable😁) and just for that reason alone I would and will definitely rent again. What’s even more amazing is that the owner Mark is very welcoming and very much on top of anything you might need. Mark, thank you for your amazing hospitality my family and I have a wonderful time in your home.

5 Star Property in a Tranquil setting

Not expecting all the little creature comforts that make this property unique. So perfectly clean with everything you could want and lots of extras. Attention to detail and pride in ownership. The owners were very communicative and welcoming from the beginning to end. We did many day trips from this location and spent many a nice afternoon/evening on the porch enjoying the escape from the heat. This retreat was just what we hoped for and so much more.

Wonderful Place to Stay! Great for Spring Break 2024!

Great location and overall stay! The place itself was very clean and well stocked! This home has everything you need, and some! Walking distance to Iron Springs Trail where we had a lot of fun outdoors. The owners were very responsive and easy to get ahold of. We got snowed in a bit on check out and they were able to get someone over to plow us out of the driveway and onto the road! Wish we could’ve stayed one more day to play in the snow with our twin girls but they had fun the entire time we were up for Spring Break! Beds were very comfortable (which is difficult to find) and we were overall happy with our choice to stay there! One recommendation we had is to get the bedroom carpet stretched out in the bunk room and to modify that window to lock but those are just minor things that did not detract from our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay in Munds Park

Deer Run retreat is a charming, quiet house in Munds Park. It doesn’t back to the forest, but the neighborhood is quiet and there’s a great hiking trail just around the corner that goes out into National Forest land. Inside the property, the hosts decorated the house for Christmas and when we arrived we were greeted with a lit Christmas tree and lots of holiday knick knacks. So cute!Of all the short term rental we’ve stayed, this property had the most amount of amenities for tenants available. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, cups, utensils, etc. There were plenty of beds (including 3 twins 1 bunkbed and 1 extra on the floor). The fireplace included the tools to maintain the fire all night, and clean up the fireplace after use. The gated front porch was my favorite, as I was able to sit outside and enjoy the weather and sounds of the forest with my pup and not worry about whether she would get out.The only complaint I have is the backyard is rather small, taken up mostly by a small garage/shed and a pole connecting directly to the powerlines behind the property. Certainly useful for dogs to do their business, but not much else. However, I will say the side yard offered plenty of room to setup a cornhole game or in our case, a telescope for stargazing.All in all, a great stay and I highly recommend. The hosts were very attentive and certainly paid attention to detail. For the price we paid, its a can’t miss!

Great Place to Relax

This property is clean , comfortable and homey. The home is equipped with everything you would need for a short stay. The owners were very responsive to any and all questions. It is perfectly situated so we could explore Sedona and Flagstaff. I would highly recommend this property for a nice get away.

Great home!

We spent our time out and about checking out Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon & Sedona area. Highly recommend Old Town Cottonwood food at the Colt was delicious. If you are arriving late I advise you stop at the grocery as the closest one is about 20 minutes away. The house is a cute clean house and very comfortable. Located in a quiet & nice neighborhood. I recommend a stay here for sure!

We are a family of four. This is our vacation home, and we have no other vacation rental properties. Our family loves Munds Park because of the cool weather and four seasons. Our primary residence is only 90 minutes away, and we enjoy staying here as often as possible.
