Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes familys summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a websitecould be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
My family of 6 stayed here during Christmas 2016. We arrived on the 22nd and departed on the 26th. The space is cozy...a little small for my family of 6. I did enjoy the murphy bed, as my 2 daughters slept here. It was a bit chilly next to the windows at night, but the views were amazing. The snow cats worked constantly all night grooming the runs in front of the windows. There was plenty of bedding for all 6 of us. It would have been nice to have had a sleeper sofa. I guess I should have looked at this closer when booking, because I assumed when they said 7 it would have included a sleeper. So, my son had to sleep on the floor. He didnt mind it at all, but I guess in a perfect world, if the sofa would have been a sleeper, this would have accomodated everyone. The location was great. The ski lockers were close (downstairs). Upon arrival, we could not find a parking spot. So, we had to park in the overflow area. We did notice that the basement parking was really tight. Not really made for a truck. Cars fit ok. Keep this in mind when loading and unloading in the cold. We were able to pull in and unload, but had to pull out to park in the overflow. Overall, the condo was cozy and had everything that we needed for our stay. By the way, when coming in at lunch the sun shining through the windows made it soooo warm and inviting. I didn't want to go back out in the cold. We would stay here again, but would love more seating in the living area and a sleeper sofa would be fantastic to truly sleep 6-7 comfortably. The 2nd bed in the bedroom seemed more like a full size versus a queen...but could have been a queen. The two chairs next to the sofa in the living room were not comfortable at all. We kept sliding out of them. There was not enough seating in the evening for everyone to watch tv. I normally sat on the floor or on the hearth near the fireplace.
We stayed in 308 during Christmas 2016 and had a great time skiing. The location is super, and the view from the enclosed balcony is good too. Everything was in place and clean when we arrived. My only complaint about the building would be the parking. We arrived and went into the small parking garage and it was completely full. It appeared to hold 10-12 cars. Our truck would not have fit into one of the spaces even if one would have been available. Cars and crossover SUV vehicles were the only ones parked in the basement. We had to use the overflow parking. This was a little disappointing. We had 2 adults and 4 adult kids with us (ages 21, 19, 18, and 17). Two of us had to sleep on the floor. The Murphy bed slept two (17 and 18) year old girls. I don't think this would accommodate 2 adult size people. The bedroom had a queen bed and what looked like a full size bed. So, 2 slept in that bedroom. It could have slept 3 comfortably. So, we had 2 without a bed. If the sofa would have been a sleeper, this would have helped. Either way, we survived sleeping on the floor and really enjoyed ourselves. The large windows were nice midday with the sun heating the living room. It would have been nice to have instructions on how to use the 4 remote controls in the condo. I was told that Netflix was available and was never able to figure out how to turn it on.
One cannot beat this location for staying at Copper Mountain. For all four seasons you are steps from the heart of the action. The unit is spacious and has a beautiful mountain view. I have rented this unit numerous times and continue to come back!
We came for two nights and had a great stay. Location is right in the heart of the Copper Village. Communication on driving directions, check in / check out instructions, and condo loving information was all very clear and straight forward. The unit itself is very nice, easily capable of housing 6-8 people. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily come back in the future or recommend this site to other.
